영아의 건강증진을 위한 부모역할훈련 프로그램의 효과 -생후 6개월의 결과를 중심으로- (The Study on the Development and Effectiveness of Parent Role Education Program I -Focusing on the six-months results-)

  • Recent research indicates that the new mothers want to learn about childrearing, and have burden in care of infants. Also it indicates that the new mothers say the lack of confidence and knowledge about infant care. This study was a prospective longitudinal reseach developing parent role education program and evaluating the effectiveness of this program for mother-infant interaction, childrearing environment and infant development. Longitudinal quasi-experimental design was used. The subjects were the healthy infants weighing over 2,500gm at birth, whose gestational age was more than 37weeks, and their mothers. The sample consisted of 19 mother-infant dyads for intervention group and 18 dyads for control group. Data were collected from March 15th to December 14th in 1999. For the intervention group received programmed education that was consisted of discharge education, telephone counselling, and home visiting for maternal education. The data were analyzed using chi-square test and t-test to test the equivalence of two groups, and the effectiveness of intervention program. This study was focused on the results of six months time point. The results were as follows: 1. There was significant difference in the mean score of mother-infant interaction(NCAST) between two groups. Intervention group showed higher scores in the subscales of sensitivity to cues, cognitive growth fostering, and caregiver total. 2. There was no significant difference in the mean score of child rearing environment (HOME) between two groups of six-month-infants. But when each subscale of HOME was examined, intervention group showed higher scores in the dimensions of opportunities for variety in daily stimulation, maternal involvement with child, and emotional, verbal response. 3. Six-month-infants of the intervention group showed significantly higher GQ in the Griffiths mental development scale. In conclusion, the maternal education program was effective in promoting the mother-infant interaction, organizing the childrearing environment, and fostering the infant development. These results were very meaningful that we found parent role education necessary for normal infants' mothers, and nurses can make a great contribution in promoting health of infants and mothers.

고객 보상프로그램의 효율적 구성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Efficiently Designing Customer Rewards Programs)

  • 본 연구는 보상프로그램의 구성에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 재무가치적 보상프로그램과 서비스 가치적 보상프로그램에 대한 관여수준별 선호도를 분석하였다. 또한 보상 프로그램의 평가모드(SE, JE)에 따라 선호도가 어떻게 달라지는지를 파악하였다. 실험결과 관여수준에 따라 보상프로그램에 대한 선호도는 일부 차이를 보이고 있으며 결합된 보상프로그램에 대한 선호도가 높게 나타나고 있었다. 여기서 특이한 점은 재무적 보상프로그램에 서비스 보상프로그램이 결합되는 경우에 고객들은 보상프로그램에 대해 보다 더 높은 선호도를 보이고 있어, 기존 재무보상 중심에서 벗어나 서비스 보상프로그램에 대한 관심을 제고시킬 필요가 있다. 이는 기존 기업들이 비용에 대한 부담을 갖고 있으면서도 비차별적이로 획일적인 보상프로그램을 진행하는 방식에서 새로운 보상프로그램을 구성하는 계기가 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

소프트웨어 에이전트를 위한 협상 결정함수에 관한 연구 (A Study on Negotiation Decision Functions for Software Agents)

  • 소프트웨어 에이전트에 의해서, 일상 업무는 자동화 되어왔으며, 그에 따라 사람이 담당하는 업무는 특정 업무범위로 축소되고 있다. 그러나 아직까지 대부분의 에이전트는 전체 업무 프로세스의 일부 단계에서만 그 역할을 수행할 뿐이다. 자동화 업무에서의 주요 단계에서 사용자들을 지원하기 위하여 특정 방향으로 협상 당사자들을 설득하는 데 있어서 소프트웨어 에이전트의 역할은 필수적이다. 사용되는 협상의 종류는 매우 여러 가지 이지만, 본 논문은 '협상에 기초한 경쟁적 비즈니스 환경' 과 같은 특정 협상행위에 중점을 두고 있다. 이러한 환경에서의 협상을 위해서 자율적 에이전트는 환경적 변수(예: 협상 경쟁자 수, 각 협상 참여자 수, 협상업무가 완료되는 최대한의 시간, 사용자의 선호도)를 중점적으로 고려하고 있다. 경쟁적 비즈니스 환경에서는 협상진행 중에 끼어 들어 계약을 성사시키는 잠재 협상 경쟁자들이 있지만 자동화된 협상을 위하여 제안된 이전의 협상 결정함수들은 단지 시간이나 정해진 수의 협상참여자들만을 변수로 사용해왔다. 따라서 본 논문은 경쟁적 시장환경에서 잠재적 경쟁자에 대한 고려가 포함된 협상 결정 함수와 그러한 고려사항이 포함되지 않은 협상 결정 함수에 대한 기능의 평가를 시도했다. 이 평가를 위해서 본 논문은 다수의 구매자와 판매자가 제한된 자원을 위해 한 공간에서 경쟁하는 전자상거래 시장을 적용 범위로 선택했다.

쾌적한 생활 설계를 위한 주거 및 사무실 시뮬레이터개발 (Simulation platform for living environment to ensure quality life)

  • 현대 인간이 삶을 영위하며 대부분의 시간을 소비하는 주거환경과 사무환경은 다양한 요소인 온습도환경, 시각환경, 음환경으로 구성 되어있으며 이들 환경 요소가 쾌적한 생활요소 설계의 주요 요소로 대두되고 있다. 특히, 인간에게 주는 영향 즉 "인간과 주거환경", "인간과 직장의 사무환경"간의 상호영향은 인간의 쾌적한 생활환경의 매우 중요한 요소이다. 사무환경의 경우 직장에서는 쾌적한 직장환경, 피로나 스트레스 적은 근무 및 작업환경을 만듦으로서 업무능률의 향상, 생산성 향상을 기할 수 있으며, 이를 위해서는 사무용 건물을 지을 때부터 이러한 점들을 고려한 건축물의 설계가 이루어져야 한다. 또한 주거환경은 하루 중 절반 이상의 시간을 보내며, 직장이나 가사로부터 쌓인 피로를 풀면서 다음날을 준비하는 장소이며, 수많은 가정용 가전기기들로 채워지고 있어, 개인 기호에 따른 다양한 공산품들을 소비하고 사용하는 곳이다. 따라서 이러한 두 환경에서 생활하는 인간이 건강하고 쾌적한 생활을 유지하기 위해서는 이들 환경과 제품 자체가 가능한 인간에게 피로나 스트레스를 유발시키지 않도록 감성적으로 설계되어야 한다. 동시에 외부에서 쌓인 피로나 스트레스를 빨리 회복할 수 있도록 설계되고 유지되어야 할 뿐만 아니라 개인적인 기호도 동시에 만족시킬 수 있어야 하며 최종적으로 이들 환경 안에서 생활하는 인간에게 재적하고 감성적인 환경, 인간 친화적인 제품을 제공할 수 있도록 하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 온열환경, 시각환경, 음환경 제시가 가능한 시뮬레이터 공간으로서의 주거/사무환경의 시험평가시설을 구축하였고 이 환경에 필요한 각종 자극의 제시와 측정 및 평가를 위해 온습도, 조명, 색채, 음향 등의 제시환경기술을 통합한 기본적인 시설을 구축하고, 구축된 시설과 각 제시자극의 측정 및 평가지표를 통합하여 종합적인 감성측정 및 평가 가능한 주거 및 사무실 시뮬레이터를(Simulator to measure and analyze human sensibility, SMAS) 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 구축한 시스템을 통하여 종합적인 주거/사무 환경에 대한 감성측정/평가 시스템 및 환경 시험평가 및 감성평가 지원기술 및 시스템을 통합하여 감성정보 종합관리 시스템을 구축하였으며 이를 통하여 인간의 환경 시설에 대한 감성 평가 표준 데이터포맷을 제시하였다. 이러한 종합적인 감성측정 및 평가 가능한 주거 및 사무실 시뮬레이터 시스템은 실험을 통하여 그 효용성을 입증하였다.

여중생의 부모애착, 또래애착, 학교생활적응이 우울에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Parental and Peer Attachment, School Adjustment on Depression among Female Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors affecting on depression among female middle school students. Methods: A survey was conducted on 217 first and second grade female middle school students in C city. Participants' general characteristics, home environment, level of depression, paternal, maternal, peer attachment, school adjustment were measured by self-reporting questionnaire. With SPSS 18.0 program, measured variables were analyzed and compared using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ post hoc test, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The level of depression among female middle school students were higher among students with lower economic status, second in birth order, and second grade in school. The level of depression was negatively associated with the level of paternal attachment (r=-.522), maternal attachment (r=-.487), peer attachment (r=-.376), relationship with teachers in school adjustment (r=-.274), relationship with friends in school adjustment (r=-.378), classroom behavior (r=-.450), school regulation (r=-.267). About 42% of depression among female middle school students were explained by paternal attachment, relationship with friends in school adjustment, and classroom behavior. Conclusion: Paternal attachment was identified as the most influencing factor on depression among female middle school students. Encouraging paternal involvement in the process of school adjustment might be a useful intervention to decrease depression among middle school girls.

Integrated Tree Crops-ruminants Systems in South East Asia: Advances in Productivity Enhancement and Environmental Sustainability

  • Improved efficiency in the use of natural resources, pragmatic production systems and environmental sustainability, justified by the need for improved land use systems and increased productivity, are discussed in the context of Asian integrated systems, diversification, and issues of sustainability. The importance of these are reflected by serious inadequate animal protein production throughout Asia, where available supplies cannot match current and projected human requirements up to 2050. Among the ruminant production systems, integrated tree crops-ruminant production systems are grossly underestimated and merit emphasis and expansion. As an example, integrated oil palm- based system is an important pathway for integration with ruminants (buffaloes, cattle, goats and sheep), and provides the entry point for development. The importance and benefits of integrated systems are discussed, involving animals with annual and perennial tree crops, integration with aquaculture, the significance of crop-animal interactions, stratification of the systems, production options, improved use of forages and legumes, potential for enhanced productivity, implications for improved livelihoods of the rural poor and the stability of farm households. The advances in research and development in South East Asia highlight demonstrable increased productivity from animals and meat offtakes, value addition to the oil palm crop, sustainable development, and distinct economic impacts. The results from 12 out of a total of 24 case studies concerning oil palm over the past three decades showed increased yield of 0.49-3.52 mt of fresh fruit bunches (FFB)/ha/yr; increased income by about 30%; savings in weeding costs by 47- 60% equivalent to 21-62 RM/ha/yr; and an internal rate of return of 19% based on actual field data. The results provide important socio-economic benefits for resource-poor small farmers. Potential increased offtakes and additional income exist with the integration of goats. Additionally, the potential for carbon sequestration with tree crops is an advantage. The reasons for low adoption of the syatems are poor awareness of the potential of integrated systems, resistance by the crop- oriented plantation sector, and inadequate technology application. Promoting wider expansion and adoption of the systems in the future is linked directly with coherent policy, institutional commitment, increased investments, private sector involvement, and a stimulus package of incentives.

미국의 후계농업인력 육성체계와 4-H센터의 역할 (Upbringing System for the Future Farmers and the Roles of 4-H Center in the U.S.A.)

  • The objectives of this study were to explore to upbringing system for the future farmers of the 4-H Clubs, future farmers organization and the Center for 4-H in the USA to suggest some implications to 4-H programs in Korea. To train future leaders in agricultural and agri-business areas leaders in the United States felt the need to create various organizations such as 4-H Club, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Young Farmer Association (YFA), and cooperate each other. The members in future farmer's groups benefit from opportunities and involvement of farming and agri-related activities and contribute to improve their communities. One of them, the 4-H Club remains strong in the country covering young people as members and adult as volunteer leaders. Youth in 4-H learn by doing, and members find opportunities for leadership. 4-H members contribute to their family, community, and country in meaningful ways to make a difference. The Center for 4-H has provided a range of challenging opportunities around the arts, sciences, environment, technology, business, animals, foods, and health while always stressing leadership and citizenship for 4-H members. The Center has been supporting research, teaching, and outreach in community based non-formal youth development education. The Center is particularly interested in youth development opportunities including foster resiliency, promote safe and healthy behaviors, and support youth in communities in various ways.

사회혁신의 장으로서 리빙랩과 패러독스 (Paradoxes of Living Lab as a Social Innovation Arena)

  • 주도적 사용자 참여, 실생활 상황의 실험 등이 핵심요소인 리빙랩은 과학기술 혁신과 혁신의 사회적 기여를 위한 수단으로 각광받고 있다. 최근에는 사회혁신이나 지속가능한 시스템 전환에까지 활용되는 등 질적 변화도 나타나고 있다. 그러나 리빙랩 접근에서는 동질성, 사용자 경험, 갈등, 사업화, 확산 등의 측면에서 상이한 요구 간 긴장으로 인한 패러독스가 나타날 수 있다. 리빙랩이 사회혁신과 지속가능한 시스템으로의 전환을 위한 유용한 도구로 활용되기 위해서는 이러한 패러독스를 이해하고 관리할 필요가 있다. 리빙랩은 특정 문제의 해결에는 매우 유용하지만 모든 문제의 해결책은 아니다. 여전히 이론적 논거와 경험적 성과가 부족한 리빙랩이 사회혁신의 수단으로서 성과를 거두기 위해서는 패러독스를 이해하고 관리하는 것이 필요하다.

자녀의 초등학교 입학 전후 어머니의 양육불안에 미치는 영향요인 분석 (An Analysis of the Influential Factors on Mother's Child-rearing Anxiety Before and After Their Children's Entrance into Elementary School)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to find the tendencies and differences of mother's child-rearing anxiety before and after their children enter into elementary school, to analyze the factors influencing child-rearing anxiety at each time, and thereby to seek a support plan at the time of transition. Methods: The subjects of this study were 181 mothers who participated in two surveys which were conducted before and after their child entered into elementary school. Results: Firstly, mother's child-rearing anxiety before and after their children's entrance into elementary school was at a middle level, but increased significantly when they experienced their children's transition to elementary school. Secondly, mother's child-rearing anxiety, before their children's entrance into elementary school, was influenced by private education, the collection of educational information, cognitive ability, whether or not to develop a work status change plan, and birth order sequentially. Thirdly, child-rearing anxiety after their children's entrance into elementary school was significantly influenced by child-rearing anxiety before their children's entrance into elementary school and the mother's employment. Conclusion/Implications: This study is meaningful in the point that it suggested the necessity for the cooperation between multiple systems, such as systematic and stepwise parenting education, the importance of offering information to educational institutions and local governments, and for work- family support policy to prioritize children in order to support children's successful transition into elementary school.

고등학생의 변비 유무에 따른 생활습관의 차이 (Life Style Difference by Constipation among High School Students)

  • Objectives: The study investigated constipation in male and female high school students and in order to provide data base for development of education and intervention programs aimed at preventing and managing constipation in high school students. Methods: The study used a technique of convenience sampling to mobilize the entire students in an academic high school in D region. Of the combined 360 copies of questionnaire distributed, 340 copies were collected and used for the final analysis. The gathered data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and ${\chi}^2-test$ in SPSS 21. Results: The ratio of female students with constipation is significantly higher than that of male students with the condition(${\chi}^2=5.73$, p=0.017), and there were significant differences in exercise habits(${\chi}^2=26.75$, p<0.001), eating habits(${\chi}^2=43.19$, p<0.001), and bowel habits(${\chi}^2=22.96$, p<0.001) between female students and male students. Also there was significant difference in water intake between the normal group and the constipation group(${\chi}^2=10.01$, p=0.040). Significant differences between the two groups were also discovered in the level of perception of constipation(${\chi}^2=98.76$, p<0.001), bowel movement time(${\chi}^2=15.74$, p=0.008), and use of laxatives(${\chi}^2=17.68$, p<0.001) and enema(${\chi}^2=16.97$, p<0.001) for constipation relief. Conclusions: To prevent and manage constipation in high school students, education about healthy dietary, and bowel habits is required. Also there is an urgent need to improve the school toilet environment in order to respect the rights of students to void or defecate when necessary, a process which will require involvement of students, teachers, and other school staff.
