Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean nursing work environment scale for critical care nurses (KNWES-CCN) and verify its validity and reliability. Methods: A total of 46 preliminary items were selected using content validity analysis of experts on 64 candidate items derived through literature reviews and in-depth interviews with critical care nurses. 535 critical care nurses from 21 hospitals responded to the preliminary questionnaire from February to March 2021. The collected data were analysed using construct, convergent and discriminant validities, and internal consistency and test-retest reliability. Results: The 23 items in 4 factors accounted for 55.6% of the total variance were identified through item analysis and exploratory factor analysis (EFA). EFA was performed with maximum likelihood method including direct oblimin method. In the confirmatory factor analysis, KNWES-CCN consisted of 21 items in 4 factors by deleting the items that were not meet the condition that the factor loading over .50 or the squared multiple correlation over .30. This model was considered to be suitable because it satisfied the fit index and acceptable criteria of the model [𝒳²=440.47 (p<.001), CMIN/DF=2.41, GFI=.86, SRMR=.06, RMSEA=.07, TLI=.90, CFI=.91]. The item total correlation values ranged form .32 to .73 and its internal consistency was Cronbach's α=.92. The reliability of the test-retest correlation coefficient was .72 and the intra-class correlation coefficient was .83. Conclusion: The KNWES-CCN showed good validity and reliability. Therefore, it is expected that the use of this scale would measure and improve nursing work environment for critical care nurses in Korea.

Sasang constitutional medicine was born on basis of constitutional cognition in Korean History. Only if we look at Sasang constitutional medicine on the environment of korean unique culture, geography and historical tradition, the true feature come into view, and on the contrary we could grasp to which degree it has general properties. Sasang constitutional medicine pursue inner principles of human being, that has been the most important traditions of Korean medicine. Also that properties are results of continuous confirming academic universality and constant efforts to look for the medicine that is most fit to clinical practice. For the purpose of developing world medicine, we must grow that specific characteristics of Sasang constitutional medicine.

Sweden's regional innovation system is built mainly on innovative clusters, several of them - in automobile, steel, new materials, information and telecommunication, and bioscience - world-class. Most successful clusters were developed at local bases imbued with local history. In fact, a cluster's competitiveness is intimately related to its closeness of fit with its local environment. Geographically dispersed clusters in Sweden - some national, others local, and some local but deemed members of a national cluster as well - have already created many new competitive products and services. In 2001, Sweden has eight national and nine regional clusters, and envisioned eleven national and five regional clusters more. The experience of Swedish clusters indicate several elements that determine the ability of cluster policies to promote and strengthen regional economic growth. Cluster policies require strong public sector support, particularly in the form of providing basic national conditions. Regional cluster policies place new demands on national and regional industrial policies. All policies must be closely interwoven without compromising their primary allegiance to their respective areas.

We have recently witnessed many of global companies did not successfully adapt themselves to local markets, and finally exited the markets experiencing failures. The purpose of this study is to suggest practical glocalization strategies for global e-service companies to run their respective businesses in local markets with success. Glocalization is a terminology blending globalization and localization, meaning that global companies adapt themselves to local cultures, environment, languages, laws and regulations so as to survive and prosper in those markets while maintaining high quality of standards and processes they originally have for global competitive edge. Examining success stories as well as failure ones of global e-service companies having entered Asian markets, we provide marketing mix strategy for successful glocalization, and suggest some guidelines for prospective e-service companies wishing to enter local markets with different cultures and languages to fit themselves to new environments.

A simple measurement system is built to estimate the dual-antenna diversity gain at 2.4GHz easily in open lab environment. To obtain multipath fading propagation channel, the system consists of two transmission horn that placed on opposite direction and a rotating stage mechanically changing the position of test dual-antenna with time over distance greater than one wavelength. Estimated diversity is nearly same as theoretical value such that measured diversity gain of 30mm separated is about 6dB similar to theoretical value of 5.7dB and increases monotonically with the increasing separation distance as predicted by the theory. Proposed measurement system that is simple enough to fit in a small space can evaluate the performance of various dual-antennas with a reasonable accuracy with lower 5% difference between the ten sets of measured waveform distribution and theoretical Rayleigh cumulative distribution.

When people encounter a new cultural housing setting, their housing attitudes are more changeable and complicated than when they enter a new housing environment in the same culture. The purpose of this study was to identify cultural impacts on housing attitudes, and to find the new design concepts based on the Koreans living experience in American apartments. Data were collected by the questionnaires of 125 Koreans who live in apartment houses in Pittsburgh. According to Korean common housing attitudes and transition by the time variable, the period of residence in the US, this research found that Korean residents' housing attitudes consist of unchanged cultural factors that have been the basic design concepts of Korean style apartments, changeable mixed factors that can be used to diversify Korean apartments, and changed desired factors that will be applied to new design concepts. Also, this research showed different housing attitudes by marital status and rent. This information may be helpful to Korean housing experts who have tried to improve apartments, and it is possible that American professionals can provide more suitable housing to fit minorities' unique living patterns in America.

The Semantic Web is an evolving extension of the WWW in which the semantics of information and services on the web is defined, making it possible for the web to understand and satisfy the requests of people and machines to use the web content. The sementic web relied on the ontologies that structure underling data for the purpose of comprehensive and transportable machine understanding. And recommendation systems have been developed as a solution to the abundance of choice people face in many situations. This paper shows that the new recommendation method is suitable for effective recommendation on the semantic web. We present a new procedure for improving the effective recommendation by using the levelized context ontology. Our experimental results also confirm that our method has good recommendation time. Our proposed method can be generalized to fit other application domains.

Smart Dining Table is an ongoing project in our Interaction Design Lab. It is a table top display designed to facilitate dining process. Smart Dining Table uses touchable interface to interact with users, providing a new, interesting and efficient experience in dining process. In GuangZhou, the south city of China, Yam Cha is a traditional and local way of entertainment in which normally elders gather together with friends or relatives to have tea and snack, and most importantly, to chat. Yam Cha has a long history in China, and Guangzhou has developed its own unique "Yam Cha" culture. In this paper, we discuss about previous research we did on Yam Cha in GuangZhou, and the approach we propose to manage and analyze issues related to dining table to help designing specific version of Smart Dining Table which can fit right into the Yam Cha process and cultural environment.

As the distributed generation becomes more reliable and economically feasible, it is expected that a higher application of the distributed generation units would be interconnected to the existing grids. This paper describes the results for the mechanical and environmental tests of pretreatment system material. Mechanical Characteristics make differences between parent / weldment, Notch existence / non-existence and air/$H_2O$ conditions. As a result, the life of pipe lines needs to maintain and fit for the operating period. Based on actual situations, the tension test of pipe welding-parts is carried out varying the exposure time of hydrogen sulfide and the fatigue resistance test is also performed inserting a notch into the pipe welding part, being exposed to the hydrogen sulfide environment for 720 hours.

We present steganographic service model and algorism that fit feature of streaming audio book service in order to hide information of copyright and certificate of it. Secret information is encrypted with random numger by secret key that client and server share, so that increase confidentiality. We made secret data distributed randomly and evenly, and improved throughput by simplifying additional computations considering streaming environment.
