  • Recently, much attention is paid on the office design be-cause the real world of work has undergone substantial changes, in both spatial and temporal aspects, due to the in-troduction of data processing technologies and new types of production. Today's renewed objectives of office are to define new physical space for work, to deal with economic and organizational changes. In the period of information, the purpose of an office is to improve the productivity for employers employees the comfort and vitality. Today's intellecture resources are necessary for the development in the modern business. The Hypid office, as an alternative in order to correspond the rapid changes, is proposed to give the space for satisfy-ing the basic desires of a human being-eating, resting and working. Accompanying with flexibility and comfortability, this office should include the space for personal purpose and the space for social purpose. Applying the concept of comfort like at home leads to re-lease a worker's stress from the society of information. The future office which is to enhance the quality of culture by in-tegrating indivisual, domestic and social life should commu-nicate efficiency, movement, energy, transformation.

  • A fair portion of the dream to acquire the solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations has come true through the remarkable development of computers and solution algorithms in recent years. However, it is also true that there still remain serious hurdles in simulating general fluid flows. A few numerical trials to overcome the existing difficulties are introduced. The issues in numerical simulations of high-Reynolds-number flows, flows characterized by complex body geometry, and multi-phase flows, are scrutinized. The future of computational fluid dynamics as a promising tool for flow analyses is illuminated by this review.

  • As WSNs(Wireless Sensor Networks) are being deployed widely in diverse application areas, their management and maintenance become more important. Recent sensor node software takes modular software architectures in pursuit of flexible software management and energy efficient reprogramming. To realize an flexible and efficient modular architecture particularly on resource constrained mote-class sensor nodes that are implemented with MCUs(Micro-Controller Units) of a single address space. an appropriate module linking model is essential to resolve and bind the inter-module global symbols. This paper identifies a design space of module linking model and respectively their implementation frameworks. We then establish a taxonomy for module linking models by exploring the design space of module linking models. Finally, we suggest an implementation framework respectively for each module linking model in the taxonomy. We expect that this work lays the foundations for systematic innovation toward more flexible and efficient modular software architectures for WSNs.

  • The supply and use of exhaust heat recovery ventilation system as effective energy saving equipment has been increasing steadily. The exhaust heat recovery ventilation system can be installed at ceiling of balcony or emergency space. However, ventilation system can not be installed at emergency space because where have to remain as empty space by law. Therefore, the proper installation space of ventilation system is needed. In this study, to install heat recovery ventilation system in the light weight wall, thickness of heat exchanger was assembled below 140 mm. One or two paper heat exchangers were installed in the ventilation system. The efficiency of heat recovery was analyzed through performance experiment on case of cooling and heating mode.

  • The general formulation of free vibration and stability analysis of unsymmetric thin-walled space frames and beam-columns is presented. The kinetic and total potential energy is derived by applying the extended virtual work principle, introducing displacement parameters defined at the arbitrarily chosen axis and including second order terms of finite semitangential rotations. In formulating the finite element procedure, cubic Hermitian polynomials are utilized as shape functions of the two node space frame element. Mass, elastic stiffness, and geometric stiffness matrices for the unsymmetric thin-walled section are evaluated. In order to illustrate the accuracy and practical usefulness of this formulation, finite element solutions for the free vibration and stability problems of thin-walled beam-columns and space frames are presented and compared with available solutions.

  • Since the successful observation by Uhuru, the first astronomical satellite, X-ray astronomy has become one of the rapidly developing fields in astronomy. The scientific results provide us the unique opportunity to understand the high energy nature of X-ray sources. We now know that our galaxy contains many different types of X-ray sources such as the compact X-ray sources, galactic bulge sources in addition to the Sun, the brightest X-ray sources in the sky. In this study we review the general properties of galactic X-ray sources, the characteristics of periodic compact X-ray sources, and bursters as well as the models.

  • Euclid is an astronomy and astrophysics space mission of the European Space Agency. The mission aims to understand why the expansion of the Universe is accelerating and what is the nature of the source responsible for this acceleration which physicists refer to as dark energy. This paper provides both an overview of the spacecraft mechanical architecture and a synthesis of the process applied to establish adequate mechanical loads for design and testing. Basic methodologies and procedures, logics and criteria which have been used with the target to meet a compliant, "optimised" design are illustrated. The strategy implemented to limit the risk for overdesign and over-testing without jeopardizing the design margins is also addressed.

  • The challenge to be faced in public transportation today is to satisfy human needs with the least delay, with the smallest number of accidents, and with the most economic use of energy, space, materials, man-power and money. One possible solution may lie in city train system, including AGT system. Specially, Passenger space in AGT is important to balance the budget of layout with passenger's satisfaction. This study focuses on lay-out and space, comfort which should be considered from the conceptual design stage of the interior layout work. Traditionally, the interior layout of the passenger room has emphasized ridequality and style. However, as the train becomes more prevalent and versatile, the focus also tends to shift toward layout and space to have comfortable circumstances. After all, the purpose of this research focused on arrangement a rational interior layout of the train through ergonomics research. Finally, the key was ensuring the comfortable environment based on cultural background of the passenger.

  • Sustainable interior design elements are related with human health. We know that a demand for environmental-friendly housing and all about the others demanding are for human health. We have to make up basement of natural environment for sustainable space composition. If natural environment is polluted that surrounded by human, we have to effort to revive without any pollution. We have to get accomplished stability, comfortable, security, convenience and organize interior design elements for sustainable space to enhance for the quality of life. Furthermore, it needs to get a respect lifestyle on personal. To study composing of the sustainable interior design, we arranged interior design elements to compose sustainable space of housing. We investigated how to compose energy-efficiency, sustainable, interior tree-planting, alterable of the space.
