An Analysis of Educational Effectiveness of the Kazakhstan Intellectual School International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) (카자흐스탄 영재학교(NIS)의 국제표준 고교교육과정(IBDP)에 대한 교육효과 분석 연구)

  • The modern world stands on the cusp of massive change in connection with the 4th industrial revolution. Following developed countries, developing countries also try to grow and keep up with the flow. Among them, trough the international cooperation government of Kazakhstan decided to include the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) into the Nazarbayev Intellectual School(NIS) in April 2013. The goal of this study is to analyze the efficiency of introduction and implementation of the IBDP in the NIS and to consider the possibility of implementing this program in regular schools. To achieve the research goal, was applied the CIPP evaluation model(context - input - process - product) to assess IBDP program systematically. The analysis of empirical data collected due to the results of the international school system implementation, also in this study were used the results of questionnaires and interviews with the students and teachers who took part in the IBDP educational program. The results of the analysis showed that the average satisfaction of teachers and students who participated in IBDP was 3.64 points, however they pointed out the problems with management and organizations of the program, the establishment of a variety of subjects, recruitment of IBDP teachers etc. These measures would help to raise the status of school to the internationalization.

  • Despite the rapid growth and importance of social enterprises in recent years, most social enterprises have many limitations such as small business size, financial dependence on government, lack of professional management personnel and knowledge, and low consumer awareness. Therefore, empirical research in the field of marketing is needed for economic independence of social enterprises. This study is based on the following: First, the identity of the social enterprise and the self-image of the consumer, second, the functional correspondence between the consumer's expectation and actual performance of the social enterprise's product, and third, the social value of the social enterprise product, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of consumer value consistency on customer satisfaction and loyalty to social enterprises. Finally, this study aimed to suggest the moderating role of social enterprise clubs in this process to give implications for the long-term marketing of social enterprises. The results of this study are as follows. First, self-image consistency, functional correspondence, and value correspondence all have positive effects on the satisfaction of social enterprise and its products and form a loyalty. Secondly, whether or not the social enterprise club belonged to them is a moderating variable that raises sensitivity in the effects of self image consistency and functional consistency on customer satisfaction and customer satisfaction on loyalty. It was found to be.

The Determinants of R&D and Product Innovation Pattern in High-Technology Industry and Low-Technology Industry: A Hurdle Model and Heckman Sample Selection Model Approach (고기술산업과 저기술산업의 제품혁신패턴 및 연구개발 결정요인 분석: Hurdle 모형과 Heckman 표본선택모형을 중심으로)

  • There have been many studies to examine the patterns in innovations reflecting industry-specific characteristics from an evolutionary economics perspective. The purpose of this study is to identify industry-specific differences in product innovation patterns and determinants of innovation performance. For this, Korean manufacturing is classified into high-tech industries and low-tech industries according to technology intensity. It is also pointed out that existing research does not reflect the decision-making process of firms' R&D implementations. In order to solve this problem, this study presents a Heckman sample selection model and a double-hurdle model as alternatives, and analyzes data from 1,637 firms in the 2014 Survey on Technology of SMEs. As a result, it was confirmed that the determinants and patterns of manufacturing in small and medium-size enterprise (SME) product innovation are significantly different between high-tech and low-tech industries. Also, through an extended empirical model, we found that there exist a sample selection bias and a hurdle-like threshold in the decision-making process. In this study, the industry-specific features and patterns of product innovation are examined from a multi-sided perspective, and it is meaningful that the decision-making process for manufacturing SMEs' R&D performance can be better understood.

A Study on Effects of Experiential Value of Hotel users for 5 Star Hotels on Usage Satisfaction and Continuous Usage Intention (특급호텔 이용객의 경험가치가 이용만족과 지속적 이용의도에 미치는 영향관계 연구)

  • To continue the growth of use of 5-star hotels by Koreans, who have recently shown the consumption trends pursuing the empirical value of a consumption process, and have turned into core customers of 5-star hotels in Seoul, it is necessary to study factors of experience value pursued by Koreans. As a result, fantasy is identified as a major leading factor in usage satisfaction among experiencial values. So it is important to reflect special concepts and atmospheres for emotional values, such as other world experience, new experience, and high-quality experience. And consumer return on investment was identified as a leading factor in positively affecting usage satisfaction. So it is important to develope a proper products that can enough benefits with reasonable prices. In the relationship between usage satisfaction and continuous usage intention, gender characteristics and occupational characteristics were found to play a moderating role. Male customers, and those with professional and self-employed occupations, were found to have higher continuous usage intention than females and other occupational customers. This is a result of the fact that customers with an economical power are likely to be continuous repeat customers of 5-star hotels, so the necessity of strengthening marketing activities such as research on the development of more differentiated and specialized products, service creation and atmosphere production for excellent consumers group.

The Effects of Perceived Risk and Review Diagnosticity on the Acceptance of Food Delivery Application (지각된 위험 및 리뷰 진단성이 배달앱 수용에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigates the factors that stimulate or suppress the use of food delivery applications. As potential antecedent factors, the present research examined the review diagnosticity, descriptive norms, and multidimensional risk perception. Based on this, users' data were collected from major metropolitan cities where the food delivery application business is most active. The results of structural equation modeling confirmed that users' approach to food delivery apps becomes more favorable when the review diagnosticity and descriptive norms were improved and when the perceived multidimensional risk expected to be associated with app use is mitigated. Additionally, we found that the positive influence of these attitudes on the actual intention to accept delivery applications became weaker at higher levels of perceived risk. These empirical results may contribute to the formation of strategic and systematic guidelines for promoting the expansion of the recently emerging O2O service platform across diverse sectors. Namely, the significance of this study lies in that it has raised awareness regarding the strategic considerations that such new O2O service providers should take into account for their market positions, in addition to discovering factors that could aid the prompt expansion of the applications' user base.

A Comparative Study on the Influence of Creation Shared Value Activities on Continuous Use Intention in Korean-Chinese Library Big Data Service: Focusing on Brand Quality and Social Resistance

  • In this paper, we propose the purpose of this study is to examine whether the library's creation shared value activities in China and Korea affect brand quality, social status, and the influence of each variable according to the Chinese and Korean groups. To achieve the purpose of this study, the survey was conducted using questionnaires to users who have used the Big Data Sharing Service in Korean and Chinese libraries. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to participants in the study, and 460 of the recovered questionnaire were used in the final analysis, which eliminated unfaithful responses. The data collected through the survey were analyzed as frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmed factor analysis, and structured model using statistical programs SPSS22 and AMOS22. The results of the research identified through the empirical analysis of this study are as follows. First, the CSV activities of the library's big data have a significant influence on the brand quality and social status. Second, brand quality and social resistance has a significant positive effect on continuous use intention. Third, the influence of the CSV activities in Korean and Chinese libraries has been found to be partly different. Through the conclusion and discussion section, the theoretical implications of this study, practical implications and in-depth discussions on the limitations of the study and its future direction were presented.

  • The aim of this study was to establish research hypotheses and conduct empirical analysis to clarify the relationship between self-leadership, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job performance of researchers in the energy and environment fields. Data were extracted from questionnaires returned by 165 researchers in the field of energy environment among 200 questionnaires collected for approximately three weeks. The reliability, frequency, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and sobel-test were examined using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The self-leadership of the researcher has a positive (+) effect on self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and job performance, and the researcher's self-efficacy has a positive (+) influence on both job satisfaction and job performance. In addition, the self-efficacy and job satisfaction mediated the relationship between self-leadership, and job performance. Therefore, to improve the job performance of the researchers, it is important to establish a system for the human resource management of the affiliated institutions and revitalize the education for the self-leadership and self-efficacy improvement. In addition, it is necessary to provide an appropriate compensation system to satisfy the researchers' enjoyment, satisfaction and trust in their jobs. In particular, because self-efficacy is a very important factor for job performance, it is important to prepare an institutional strategy for strengthening the self-efficacy of researchers.

  • This study focuses on analyzing the key success factors of the traditional market by analyzing the impact on the business performance of merchants in the traditional market. Based on the existing research on entrepreneurship, psychological characteristics, capabilities, and physical characteristics of the market were considered as merchant characteristics. As a result, the risk characteristics and merchant pride, which are internal characteristics of merchants, have a significant effect on business performance. Among the competencies of merchants, product competency, customer management competency, and price competency were found to have a significant impact on business performance. Among the physical characteristics of the market, reputation and product diversity were found to have a significant effect on business performance. The results of this study are meaningful to empirically prove the relevance of the merchant's internal characteristics and capabilities, and the market's physical characteristics to the business performance of market merchants. Could be utilized. However, the limitation of this study is that there may be differences in each industry in the case of market merchant products. In future studies, empirical studies on the trader's relevance to business capability and business performance should be continued.

A Study on Economic Value Analysis Model of Meteorological Information (기상정보의 경제적 가치 분석모형 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine various existing models that analyze the economic value of meteorological information, to present a new analysis model, a market model, and to quantitatively analyze the economic value of meteorological information in the Korean service industry using the market model. The research method of this paper will basically use empirical analysis along with the theoretical approach to critically examine the existing analytical model of economic value of meteorological information and to suggest a new analytical model. The analysis results are as follows. Theoretically, the marginal cost of firms is reduced by providing the amount of weather information, and social welfare is increased by the increase of consumer and producer surplus. In this paper, the marginal cost of 1% increase in the amount of weather information decreases by 0.101% and the increase in social welfare increases by 1,247billion Won in 2017. On the other hand, in the accommodation and restaurant sectors, the marginal cost due to a 1% increase in weather information decreased by 0.218%, and the social welfare increase increased by 308billion Won in 2017.

  • This study is an empirical analysis of the characteristics of the organization and the performance of the company. The characteristics that make up the culture of a company's organization determine its success. Overcoming the company's closed cultural characteristics, entrepreneurial orientation, delegation, openness of organizational culture, and R&D capabilities have a positive impact on the company's performance. These characteristics of the company also play a positive role in embracing open innovation to generate innovative results. The characteristics of a company positively consider the acceptance and utilization of external resources. These variables proved that the nature of a company's organization is a factor in generating a company's performance. In this process, open innovation and the acceptance of external resources also proved to be a positive factor in generating corporate performance. The contents of this study provide an academic basis for the variables that build corporate organizational culture and provide a practical attitude to the role of leaders in managing corporate organizational culture. This study is focused on women's SMEs. n future research, the overall characteristics of the company will be considered. In addition, this study attempts to verify by applying various variables for generating performance of domestic SMEs by reflecting overcoming regional limitations.
