Q-방법론을 이용한 초등교사의 특수학급에 대한 이미지 (The Image of Elementary School Teachers on Special Class using Q-Methodology)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis of the image of elementary school teachers on special class. The Q-methodology was used as a research method which is useful for analyzing subjectivity like as human value, attitude, belief and image. P-sample as subjects of this study was collected from 40 elementary school teacher in Busan. A data was analyzed using QUANL PC program. As a result of research, the image of elementary school teachers on special class was classified as 4 type. The 1 type was labeled the practical proponent type. The 1 type teachers highly estimate the educational importance of the special class and thought it as a place that educational possibility of children with disabilities can come true. The 2 type was labeled the passive bystander type. They are quite indifferent to the special class, and are skeptical about the educational achievement of children with disabilities. The 3 type was labeled the ideational positive type. They admit the importance of the special class, but thought that the image about the special class highly depends on the ability of the teachers who take responsibility for it. The 4 type was labeled the realistic opponent. They criticize the special class for not being the place that inclusion education for children with disabilities comes true and they are dissatisfied with the fact that ordered-curriculum for children with disabilities isn't applied at all.

초등 과학수업의 다면적 분석을 중심으로 한 교사 참여형 교육프로그램이 초보교사의 수업전문성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Teacher Participation-Oriented Education Program Centered on Multi-Faceted Analysis of Elementary Science Classes on the Class Expertise of Novice Teacher)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze The Effect of Teacher Participation-oriented Education Program (TPEP) centered on Multi-Faceted Analysis of Elementary Science Classes on the Class Expertise of novice teacher. First, in order to develop the TPEP, lectures and exploratory science classes were analyzed using imaging and eye-tracking techniques. In this study, the TPEP was developed in five stages: image analysis, eye analysis, teaching language analysis, gesture analysis, and class development. Participants directly analyzed the classes of experienced and novice teachers at each stage. The TPEP developed in this study is different from the existing teacher education program in that it reflected the human performance technology aspects. The participants analyzed actual elementary science classes in a multi-faceted way and developed better classes based on them. The results of this study are as follows. First, at the teacher training institutions and the school sites, pre-service teachers and novice teachers should be provided with various experiences in class analysis and multi-faceted analysis of their own classes. Second, through this study, we were able to identify the limitations of existing class observations and video analysis. Third, the TPEP should be developed to improve the novice teachers' class expertise. Finally, we hope that the results of this study are used as basic data in developing programs to improve teachers' class expertise in teacher training institutions and education policy institutions.

설명 단계를 강조한 POE 과학수업이 초등학생들에게 미치는 효과 (The Effects of POE Science Class Emphasizing Explanation Phase on Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to see the influences of POE science class that emphasizes explanation on science research ability, motivation of science class as well as scientific attitude of elementary students. The results drawn from this analysis were as below. Firstly, positive relationship was found between science research ability and POE science class was shown among research group. This shows that science research ability was improved as POE science class encouraged the research activities of students. It indicates that POE science class emphasizing explanation is effective in improving science research ability of students. Secondly, positive relationship was found between motivation of science class and POE science class among research group and this means that POE science class that emphasizes explanation stimulates intellectual curiosity of students and improves their attitude by actively promoting research activities. Thirdly, there was a positive relationship between scientific attitude and POE science class among research group. This presents that POE science class emphasizing explanation is effective in improving students' attitude toward science by promoting research activities. Above results show that POE science class emphasizing explanation is highly effective for elementary students. It is considered that scientific writing, discussion and debate classes have positive influences on research ability, motivation of science class and scientific attitude of elementary students. Thus, it is needed to apply POE science class to current science class as it can promote wider scientific activities among students.

COLT와 TALOS 활용 동영상 분석으로 살펴본 우수 초등영어수업의 의사소통성 양상 (Analysis of Communicative Features in an Excellent Elementary English Class Using COLT and TALOS)

  • 본 연구는 초등 영어 우수 수업으로 선정되어 교육포털사이트에 업로드 되어 있는 수업 동영상을 전사하고, COLT 2부와 TALOS 저추론 분석법을 사용하여 이를 분석하여 의사소통성과 수업의 특징을 파악한 연구이다. 그동안 COLT를 사용하여 초등 영어 수업의 의사소통성을 파악한 연구는 많았지만, TALOS 분석을 한 연구는 부족했다. 또한, 대부분의 연구가 초등 영어 수업이 의사소통적이지 않다는 결론이 대다수였다. 이에, COLT 2부와 TALOS를 사용하여 초등 영어 수업을 분석하여 의사소통성을 파악하고, 초등영어의 성격과 관련하여 나타나는 특징을 알아보았다. 서울교육포털사이트에 우수 수업 동영상으로 업로드되어 있는 1개의 수업 동영상을 COLT(Communitive Orientation of Language Teaching)와 TALOS(Target Language Observation Scheme)를 활용하여 분석한 결과, 이 수업은 높은 학생 발화의 양과 질, 학생의 높은 참여, 주도적인 발화의 시작, 예상 불가 정보 발화의 높은 비율, 확장 비율이 높은 발화 지속의 양태 등으로 의사소통중심 수업임을 확인하였다. 수업에서 두드러지게 나타난 학생의 높은 참여, 정의적 요소의 중시, 재미있게 몰입하는 활동 속에서 무의식적으로 충분한 반복을 통한 내재화 등은 초등 영어 특성과 관련된 본 수업의 특징이다.

초등 과학 온라인 수업 운영에 대한 교사들의 인식과 운영실태 (Survey on Teachers' Perception and Operational State for Elementary Science Online Remote Classes)

  • The aims of this study were to do a survey on teachers' perception and operational state for elementary science online remote classes and suggest ways to improve the elementary science online remote classes. The survey was based on responses from 100 teachers who have taught elementary science online remote classes for the first semester of 2020 for COVID-19. The questionnaire used in this study consisted of four parts: general informations of participants, the operation status of elementary science online remote classes, teachers' perceptions on the operation of elementary science online remote classes, ways to improve elementary science online remote classes. As a result of this study, elementary teachers taught elementary science online remote classes on the main use of content utilization type. And they had a difficulty in conducting elementary science online remote classes because of lack of contents, absence of elementary science online remote classes teaching methods, learner management and heavy workload. Therefore, to improve elementary science online remote classes the Ministry of Education and regional offices of education have to develop and provide high-quality contents reflect the characteristics of elementary science subjects, introduce a rent-an-experiment equipment system, and build a science class platform providing frequent real-time interaction between teacher and student.

'계절 변화'에 대한 탐구적 과학글쓰기 수업이 초등학생들의 과학 학습동기 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Science Writing Heuristic Class on 'Seasonal Change' on Science Learning Motivation and Scientific Attitude of Elementary School Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 '계절변화'에 대한 탐구적 과학 글쓰기 수업이 초등학생들의 과학 학습동기 및 과학적 태도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 것이다. 본 연구는 P광역시 소재 Y초등학교 6학년 2개 학급의 학생들을 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구집단으로 선정된 1개 학급 24명을 대상으로 '계절변화' 단원에 대한 10차시 수업을 탐구적 과학글쓰기 형식으로 진행하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. '계절변화'에 대한 탐구적 과학글쓰기 수업은 초등학생들의 과학학습동기 및 과학적 태도에 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 이것은 학생들이 탐구한 내용을 글로 표현하는 과정에서 자신감과 흥미를 가지게 되었고 자신이 탐구한 내용을 글로 표현하고 동료들과 논의하는 과정에서 호기심과 협동성 그리고 끈기가 생겨 이것이 과학적 태도 향상에 영향을 미친 것으로 생각된다. 또한 탐구적 과학글쓰기 수업에 참가한 학생들의 수업에 대한 만족도, 흥미도, 참여도 조사 결과에서도 좋은 평가를 받았다.

초등과학 지역화 수업전략이 학생들의 환경인식에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Elementary Science Localization Teaching Strategy on Environmental Perceptions of Students)

  • The aim of the study is determined to find out how elementary science localization teaching strategy would influence environmental perception of students. In order to fulfill the research purpose, a total of 51 fifth graders from two classes in M Elementary School in U City were divided into a 26 of experimental group and a 25 of comparative group. The study was carried out from September to November of 2012. For the experimental group, an elementary science localization classes were conducted while for the comparative group, a general science classes were performed. The results of the research are presented as follows. First, it was learned that the experimental group with the elementary science localization class would have a significantly and statistically high environmental sensitivity comparing to that of the comparative group. That proves the elementary science localization class's being efficient at improving the students' environmental sensitivity. Second, the experimental group with the elementary science localization class turned out to have a significantly and statistically strong will to protect the environment than the comparative group would do. Such finding says that the elementary science localization class is helpful to enhance the students' will to preserve the environment. In conclusion, the study came to understand that the elementary science localization teaching strategy can improve the environmental perceptions of the students for such elementary science localization class would efficiently encourage environmental interest of the students.

수학적 모델링 수업에 대한 초등 교사의 인식 (Prospective Teachers' Perception of Mathematical Modeling in Elementary Class)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 수학적 모델링 수업에 대한 초등교사의 인식을 질적으로 분석하는 것으로, 40명의 현직 교사들이 참여하였다. 참여 교사들은 수학적 모델링에 대한 이론을 습득하고, 실제 교실수업에 적용하는 것을 목적으로 교수 학습 과정 안을 개발하고 적용하며 그 결과를 분석한 보고서를 작성하였다. 이 보고서에 대한 분석을 통해서 초등 교사의 인식을 분석한 결과, 수학적 모델링의 특징으로 '비구조화된 상황'과 '다양한 문제해결'을 도출할 수 있었으나 수학적 모델링 관점은 다소 차이가 있어 네 가지 형태로 분류할 수 있었다. 수학적 모델링 수업에 대한 어려움은 크게 과제, 학생의 인지적 활동, 교사의 중재, 모든 학생의 참여, 교실 문화 범주로 구체화하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 수학적 모델링 수업에 대한 시사점을 제시하였다.

초등과학 탐구수업에서 문제생성 학습전략의 효과 (The Effect of Question-Generating Strategy for Science Inquiry Instruction in Elementary Science Class)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of question-generating strategy on science academic achievement, scientific attitude in elementary science class. To examine the effects of question-generating strategy this learning materials were applied to elementary science curriculum, and an experimental group and a control group were selected from $5^{th}$ graders at H elementary school located in Gyeonggi-do. Students were taught for 6 weeks. Control group take traditional lessons and solve questions presented textbook. Question generated group generate questions, solve them and feed back by themselves. The results of this study were found statistically significant difference in the pupil's enhancement of the science academic achievement, scientific attitude (p<.05). Thus question-generating strategy for elementary science inquiry instruction that has a positive effect on interests in class is useful and better be widely applied to science education.

Bloom의 신 교육목표분류학에 기초한 초등학교 과학과 수업 목표 분석 (Classifications of Instructional Objectives of Elementary Science based on Bloom's Revised Taxonomy of Educational Objectives)

  • Instructional objectives clearly show what teachers should teach in the class and how they lead the class, focusing on a certain activity for their students in the class. Clear instructional objectives are a prerequisite for teachers to accomplish effectively their curriculum. The revised Bloom's taxonomy table of educational objectives has been introduced in 50 years since the publication of his original taxonomy table in 1956. Bloom's revised taxonomy table of educational objectives has two-dimensions, the "cognitive process" dimension and the "knowledge" dimension, and it classifies class objectives more elaborately and clearly. This study was designed to classify instructional objectives stated in elementary science guidebooks for teachers into Bloom's revised taxonomy table, and see how the objectives of elementary science classes were categorized by grade level and areas. In addition, this study examined how the objectives of elementary science classes by study area were classified into the new taxonomy table. This study classified 618 elementary science instructional objectives of third- to sixth-grade science guidebooks for teachers into Bloom's revised taxonomy table. The results showed that the objectives of elementary science classes emphasized disproportionately some of the knowledge and cognitive process dimensions. In the area of subjects while the percentages of factual knowledge were very high, those of meta-cognitive knowledge were low.
