  • Expressionism, is as diverse as the artists invo)ved, in a very broad sense two main tendencies may be noted. The first is that of the Action painters, concerned in different ways with the gesture of the brush and the texture of the paint. It included such major artists as Arshile Gorky, Jackson Pollock, Willem De Keening, and Franz Kline. The other group consisted of the Color Field painters, concerned with the statement of an abstract sign or tranquil image in terms of a large, unified color shape or area. Here must be included Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, Ad Rdinhardt, as well as, to a degree, Adolph Gottlieb, Robert Motherwell, and Clyf(ord Still. In this paper, 1 selected two artists Arshile Gorky and Jackson Pollock independent charac-teristics and studied the influence of their Action painting on the fabrics of modern fashion. However, it should be noted it was never the intention of the critic Harold Rosenberg, in coining this term, to imply that Action painting was a kind of athletic exercise. Nor is it true that the furious and seemingly haphazard scattering of the paint involved a completely uncontrolled, intuitive act. There is no question that, in the paintings of Jackson Pollock, Arshile Gorky and many of the other Abstract Expressionists, the element of intuition or the accidental plays a large and deliberate part; this was indeed one of the principal contributions of Abstract Expressionism which had found its own inspiration in surrealism's 'psychic automaton'. However, nothing that an experienced and accomplished artist does can be completely accidental. Aside from their intrinsic quality, the spun-out skeins of poured pigments contributed other elements that changed the course of modern painting. There was the concept of the all-over painting, the painting seemingly without beginning or end, extending to the very limits of the canvas and implying an extension even beyond. The feeling of absorption or participation is heightened by the ambiguity of the picture space. The colors and lines, although never punctur-ing deep perspective holes in the surface, still create an illusion of continuous movement, a billowing, a surging back and forth, within a limited depth. To study the influence of Abstract Expressionism on the fabric of modern fashion, 1 selected and examined four fashion magazines: Collezioni published in France, Bazaar in Italy, Gap in Japan and Vogue in the U.S.a. froim January 1989 to June 1991. As a result of this review I found that some fabrics used in modern clothing are printed in a dripping, pouring and splashing style without any meaning or form. Slides included in the presentation show that modern fabrics which are printed in such a style were influenced by Abstract Expressionism. The slides also show that these abstract prints are well suited to modern fashion design.

청주지역 여대생의 속옷에 대한 태도와 개인적 특성과의 관계 (Relationship between the Attitudes toward Underwear and Personal Characteristics of University Female Students in Cheongju)

  • The purpose of this study were to elicit the attitudes toward underwear, to compare the difference according to the demographic variables, and to find the relationship between the attitudes toward underwear and social-psychological characteristics of university female students in Cheongju city. The questionnaires were to measure the attitudes toward underwear, the demographic information, and social-psychological characteristics. As statistical analysis, frequencies, mean, t-test, F-test, factor analysis, and correlation were used. The results were as follows: 1) The female students regarded tactile sensation of underwear fabrics as the important element in their attitude toward underwear, while they showed a little interest about gorgeous underwear style. 2) The freshman students have strongly. fixed ideas about the under wear, the other(sophomore, junior, senior) students showed more interest in decorative and fashionable aspects of underwear. 3) The attitudes toward underwear were classifies into six factors; intension about high quality, decorative design, stereotype, immodesty, style and comfort. 4) There were partially significant differences according to demographic variables in the attitudes toward underwear. 5) Also, there were significant correlations between the social-psychological characteristics and the attitudes toward underwear.

국내 대학의 텍스타일 디자인 교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Textile Design Education of College in Korea)

  • 최근 섬유산업은 어패럴 분야인 패션산업이 중심이 되어 더욱 디자인의 부가가치가 높아가고 있는 것이 세계적인 경향이며 우리나라 어패럴 산업은 고부가가치 중심의 생활문화 산업으로 변화를 가속화하고 있다. 국내 어패럴 분야의 경쟁력 강화를 위해서는 전문 인력의 활성화로 상품의 차별화, 고부가가치화가 요구된다고 할 수 있으며, 이를 높여 줄 수 있는 것이 텍스타일 디자인이다. 전문화, 다변화, 세분화되어 가고 있는 현 시대에서 사회 실태를 파악하여 이들 실태를 기초로 유능한 사회인을 양성하기 위한 구체적인 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내의 텍스타일 디자인 관련학과의 교과목을 중심으로 교육 현황을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 국내 텍스타일 디자인 관련학과에서는 대부분 직조와 염색 과목을 주요 전공과목으로 개설하고 있어, 각 대학의 특성이 뚜렷이 드러나지는 않았지만 이론과 실기 교과목의 비교에서는 이론 교과목의 비중이 증가했으며, 디자인 요소에 따른 교과목의 비교에서도 상품성, 작업성에 대한 교과목의 비중이 증가하는 추세였다. 그러나 디자인 교육은 실험과 실습을 중심으로 하는 창조적 교육이므로 현대 산업에 필요한 인력 양성을 위해서는 산업체와 긴밀한 연계성을 가지고 실무와 대학 교육과의 격차를 줄일 수 있도록 노력하고 텍스타일 디자인 관련 대학들이 그들마다의 특수성과 전문성을 가지고 학생들의 자아실현과 진로 선택에 더 많은 기회를 제공할 수 있어야 할 것이다.

간편결제 서비스에 대한 지각된 유용성 및 신뢰가 결제 및 쇼핑몰 충성도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Consumer Trust and Perceived Usefulness on Mobile Payments and Online Shopping Website Loyalty)

  • 본 연구는 간편결제 서비스에 대한 지각된 유용성 및 신뢰가 결제 서비스 이용에 대한 충성도 및 해당 쇼핑몰에 대한 충성도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 또한 간편결제 서비스에 대한 사용자들의 지각된 유용성 및 신뢰에 사용자 개인 특성 및 결제 서비스 브랜드에 대한 인지도가 미치는 영향을 함께 검증하였다. 20대-40대 사용자를 중심으로 온라인 설문을 실시한 결과, 소비자들이 간편결제 서비스를 사용하면서 서비스 시스템에 대한 유용성을 많이 느끼고 서비스 제공자에 대한 신뢰가 높을수록 간편결제 서비스에 대한 충성도 뿐 아니라 결제 서비스를 제공한 해당 쇼핑몰에 대한 충성도 또한 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 결제 서비스에 대한 지각된 유용성 및 신뢰는 소비자 개인의 기술혁신성, 스마트폰 활용 정도 및 서비스 브랜드 인지도에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 온라인 또는 모바일 쇼핑환경을 제공하는 기업들이 결제 시스템을 쇼핑 사이트에 부가된 요소로서 판단하는 것이 아니라 사이트 자체의 한 구성요소로 인식하여 사이트 디자인에서부터 설계하고 구현해야 한다는 것을 보여준다.

탄소나노섬유복합체를 이용한 의류용 직물발열체의 제조 및 특성 (Preparation and Characterization of Carbon Nanofiber Composite Coated Fabric-Heating Elements)

  • This study prepared fabric-heating elements of carbon nanofiber composite to characterize morphologies and electrical properties. Carbon nanofiber composite was prepared with 15wt% PVDF-HFP/acetone solution, and 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16wt% carbon nanofiber. Dispersion of solution was conducted with stirring for a week, sonification for 24 hours, and storage for a month, until coating. Carbon nanofiber composite coated fabrics were prepared by knife-edge coating on nylon fabrics with a thickness of 0.1mm. The morphologies of carbon nanofiber composite coated fabrics were measured by FE-SEM. Surface resistance was determined by KS K0555 and worksurface tester. A heating-pad clamping device connected to a variable AC/DC power supply was used for the electric heating characteristics of the samples and multi-layer fabrics. An infrared camera applied voltages to samples while maintaining a certain distance from fabric surfaces. The results of morphologies indicated that the CNF content increased specifically to the visibility and presence of carbon nanofiber. The surface resistance test results revealed that an increased CNF content improved the performance of coated fabrics. The results of electric heating properties, surface temperatures and current of 16wt% carbon nanofiber composite coated fabrics were $80^{\circ}C$ and 0.35A in the application of a 20V current. Carbon nanofiber composite coated fabrics have excellent electrical characteristics as fabric-heating elements.

이중자아 이미지를 표현한 무대의상 디자인 개발 - 페르난도 아라발의 부조리극 '장엄한 예식' 무대의상을 중심으로 - (A Study on Development of a Stage Costume Design, which expresses Doppelgänger Image: - Focus on the stage costume in "Le Grand cérémonial", a theater of the absurd -)

  • With entering the 21st century, modern people's dark inside and panic are emerging as the talking point on the theater stage. Even in the field of stage costume, the necessity of a research is being demanded through analyzing on psychological anguish and structure of characters. Accordingly, this study aims to allow the stage costume design to be expressed a human being's Doppelg$\ddot{a}$nger Image, which was elicited through analyzing a work of the play titled Le Grand C$\acute{e}$r$\acute{e}$monial by a playwriter Fernando Arrabal, who draws the conflictory and contradictory duplicity, which positions in a human being's deep inside by having chaos as catalyst. A research subject is 'Le Grand C$\acute{e}$r$\acute{e}$monial,' which was staged as the winter performance in commemoration of the 50th anniversary for the foundation of Dept. of Theater, Chung-Ang Univ. in November 2009. Psychology of characters in a play, which varies dimensionally, could be delivered, as nonverbal element called costume, by applying costume design of Cavanoza, Syl, Nice to Doppelg$\ddot{a}$nger Image such as Innocence vs Cruelty, Purity vs Superficiality and Restraint vs Freedom, which were elicited through analyzing characters. Through this study, the costume, which was expressed by visualizing a human being's Doppelg$\ddot{a}$nger Image, could be known to function as important dramatic factor of allowing character's psychology to be understood through costume as well as functioning as visual and sensible language, which is important for communication with the audience. A research on costume design, which reflects a character's complex inside, is expected to be likely continued through in-depth analysis on a playwriter's intention and on the appearing characters at the current point of time when an active research is being performed on stage costume in the wake of this study.

의류상품의 온라인 대량고객화 제품추천 서비스에 대한 소비자의 감정적, 인지적 반응 (Product Recommendation Service in Online Mass Customization: Consumers' Cognitive and Affective Responses)

  • This study examined the effects of product recommendation services as an atmosphere for online mass customization shopping sites on consumers' cognitive and affective responses. We conducted a between-subject experimental study using a convenience sample of college students. A total of 196 participants provided usable responses for structural equation modeling analysis. The findings of the study support the S-O-R model for a product recommendation system as an element of the shopping environment with an influence on OMC product evaluations and arousal. The results showed that OMC product recommendation service positively affected cognitive and affective responses. The findings of the study suggest that OMC retailers might pay attention to the affective and cognitive responses of consumers through product recommendation services that can enhance product evaluations and OMC usage intentions.

자동차 인테리어의 인스트루먼트 패널 디자인 경향 연구 (A Study on the Instrument Panel Design Trend for Automobile Interior)

  • 1990년대 초까지 자동차 제조사는 인테리어 디자인을 중요하게 생각하지 않았다. 주로 설계, 구동방식, 크기 등 기술적 구조를 체계화하기 위한 시도를 중점으로 발전을 거듭하였고 단순히 의장디자인과 비교하면서 인테리어를 개발하였다. 그러나 1990년대에 이러한 상황은 바뀌기 시작하는데 이유는 소비자가 차안에서 보내는 시간이 많아지면서 고객에게 편안함을 주고 기능적으로도 만족할 수 있는 기술을 개발하려는 의지를 보이기 시작했기 때문이다. 인간이 자동차 안에서 어떻게 하루를 보내며 사용하는지 관찰하고, 그 결과 인테리어를 새롭게 하는 트렌드가 무엇인지를 고려하는 즉, 전략적으로 브랜드 아이덴티티를 갖도록 인테리어의 개성을 강화하고 소비자의 감성적인 부분을 고려하는 사용자 중심의 가치관 전환을 가져온 중요 요인이 되었다. 오늘날 자동차 인테리어 디자인 은 다양한 요소 변화를 반영하는 컨셉트카를 매 해 선보이고 있는데, 향후에는 감지기능과 네비게이션 적용의 무인주행을 실현시킬 수 있는 첨단 기술을 반영한 디자인 적용이 미래 디자인의 핵심적 트렌드로 제기되고 있다. 또한 제품디자인, 패션, 가구 등 타 분야에서의 직접적인 영향으로 인테리어 디자인인의 다각적 컨셉트 적용을 시도하고 있는 현 시점에서 객관적인 관점으로 시대적 배경에 따라 자동차 인테리어 디자인 변화와 조형적 특징을 조사, 분석해야 함을 강조하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 시대적 배경과 자동차 인테리어의 흐름을 크래쉬패드 중심으로 비교하여 다변화(多變化)하는 기술적 중요 요인과 함께 향후 자동차 인테리어 디자인 방향을 연구하고자한다.

햄릿 공연을 위한 무대의상 디자인 (II) - 패턴 및 실물제작 - (Stage Costume Design for Performance Hamlet (II) - The Study on Pattern and Manufactured Product -)

  • This research proposes the on-stage costumes for the play Hamlet of Shakespeare performed by Yunheedan Guhri Pae - the Street Theater Troupe. Stage costumes have an important role in displaying the characteristics of each characters to the audience and has big visual effects. However, in order to design the costumes in the object viewpoints of the audience, the survey on the images of the characters who had actually watched the performance was taken place and proposed the costume design according to the results of the survey. Hamlet a: This result was applied to propose a sweater in black color, black leather pants and vest. Hamlet b: This result was applied to propose hooded coat in purple in middle level of brightness and color spectrum and yellow coat. For free image, loose pants in blue and vest in the same color tone were proposed. Gertrude a: This result was applied to use purple (violet) with reddish tone to propose the formation of a dress applying tailored suit. Gertrude b: This result was applied to propose purple gown and the one-piece dress with black laces. Ophelia a: This result was applied to propose feminine white dress and cape in purple color tone. Ophelia b: This result was applied to propose dyed and weaved clothes. Through the surveys as above, the images of each character was driven in adjectives, and using the results driven from the brightness, coloration, and color, color images were proposed. Only one costume cannot make up for the stage costumes and because it exists as an element of stage production, it is true that costumes are limited in some areas. However, that limit can become the motive of the costume. There is a limit, which the designer cannot produce the costumes as he or she had designed but I believe it is the center of the on-stage customers to display the characteristics of the characters according to the given concept. The limit of this research is the fact that because the costumes were designed so they fit the conditions already given, thus it was difficult to regard the process of designing and producing the costume as a project done according to the interaction. And in the future, if it is possible, I wish for the joint research with the people responsible for stage art to take place as a practical stage art. It was possible to produce practical costume since they were produced for actual performance and the production of costumes considering the dance steps, line of flow, and acting, was able to reduce the trial and error on stage. Through this research, I felt that the understanding and smooth interaction on diverse other areas not limited to the costume design should be taken place and believe that this was a research that proposes new research method since there had been only a few previous research regarding the on-stage costumes for actual performances. Therefore, this research had depended on the surveys given to the audiences to endow objectivity, however, I wish this research can contribute to defining effective process and methods for the on-stage costumes with more active researches with diverse methods and in diverse areas. I am sorry that the costume production for all the characters and all the scenes in Hamlet couldn't be done due to many limitations. As the following research assignment, I am planning on designing the costumes for all the scenes.

병.의원의 환자용 의류제품 관리 현황 (The Present Conditions of Clothes Management by Hospitals for Patient Use)

  • This study investigates the present conditions of hospital clothes management. A survey was conducted with 72 respondents from 28 different hospitals in April and May 2009. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and correlations using PASW 17.0. The results were as follows: (1) Administrators, nurses, and outside specialists took part in the clothes management process. The administrators participated in the process of purchase determination. Nurses involved in the design, size selection, and outside specialists were responsible for routine management. (2) Most clothes were planned through the discussions between hospitals and manufacturers. Price was the most important element to determine the purchase of clothes. Size systems were various depending on the conditions of the hospital according to the number of beds. (3) Laundry duties were performed by the hospitals themselves or in specialized laundry plants. In addition, the hygienic condition of clothes management were satisfactory. (4) Patient gowns were evaluated positively, yet some complaints from patients were reported. (5) Various medical supplies were used and were uncomfortable related to textile and fitting problems. Future research themes are suggested based on these results.
