축사 전기설비 화재위험성 실태조사 (A research on the actual condition fire dangerousness for electric installation of stables)

  • 축사에서 발생하는 화재건수가 높은 수준은 아니지만 화재가 발생하면 많은 재산피해가 발생하여 국가나 개인적으로 막대한 피해가 발생한다. 축사에서 발생하는 화재를 예방하기 위하여 전국 축사에 대한 전기설비 설문조사를 실시하여 축사 관리자의 안전 의식을 파악하였고, 축사에서 많이 사용하는 전기설비 중 전기화재위험성이 높은 난방장치, 환기장치, 분전반, 배선기구 등 전기기구의 사용실태를 파악하였다. 축사에서 전기로 인한 화재가 발생하지 않도록 이 자료가 축사의 전기화재 예방자료로 활용되었으면 하는 바람이다.

  • Electric of using in daily life is always exposed to risk of electrical fire and electric shock. Only degree of risk is different, there is no risk free electrical product. Generally, the higher voltage, the risk of electric shock is high. The much electric current, the risk of electrical fire is high. But, we can't help using electric because of risk and we effort to reduce the risk of electrical fire and electric shock. This study deal with the fire prevention generated on heating equipment using SSR for current.

케이블 화재의 화염전파 해석을 위한 FDS 모델의 격자민감도 평가 (Assessment of Grid Sensitivity in the FDS Field Model to Simulate the Flame Propagation of an Electric Cable Fire)

  • The present study has been conducted to examine the effect of grid resolution on the predicted results for electric cable fire using pyrolysis model in FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator, version 5). The grid independent test for different grid resolutions has been performed for a PE coating cable and the grid resolution is defined by the non-dimensional characteristic length of fire and mean grid size. The calculated maximum heat release rate and mean flame spread rate were almost constant for higher grid resolution of 20${\sim}$25 and the computing time for the grid resolution takes approximately 20hours to solve flame propagation with pyrolysis model. The geometrical simplification of a electric cable dose not greatly affect on the maximum heat release rate and flame spread rate and the rectangular approximation of cable shape gives acceptable result comparing with the round cable with stepwise grid.

  • In the present research, the exclusive analysis system based on the CFD method were suggested to predict the fire-suppression performance of water mist fire-suppression equipments for design applications. The computing scope is ranged from starting pump to fire-suppression equipments, composed of three parts that calculation of flow rate and pressure distribution at each nozzle, examining of spray performance and predicting of fire-suppression performance in the fire space. Application were done to the fire-suppression system for electric power generation plants. The results were analyzed by comparison between numerical results and initial design conditions in terms of thermal and fluid mechanics.

퍼지가능성 척도를 이용한 전기화재 원인진단 시스템의 구축 (Construction of Diagnosis System for Electric-fire Causes using Fuzzy Possibility Measure)

  • This paper presents an study on the knowledge based system for diagnosing the fire causes using the Fuzzy Possibility Measure( FPM ) about the electric-fire ignition. The Ignition values needed for causes diagnosis is computed as FPM for electric-fire ignition based on the internal scale technique that assigns numerically the characteristic difference of facts to the-tin-ear scale. For the convinience of inference, ignition sources are classified into seven types : short, ground fault, leakge of electricity, overcurrent, cord junction overheating, bad Insulation and spark. The system for causes diagnosis of electric-fire is composed of Knowledge Acquisition System, Inference Engine and Man-Machine Interface, The diagnosis system is wrritten in an artificial intelligence langusge “PROLOG” which uses depth-first search and backward chaining schemes in reasoning process.

  • In this paper, The infrastructure case for reproduction or analysis of the mechanism on the fire or the electrics shock of the electrical appliances is proposed. The various electrical appliances(Washing machine, Ballast, Electric heaters, Electronic switches, Mobile phone chargers) used in the home can be tested on the high voltage and over current test through the implementation of the infrastructure. The electrical tests of fire and electric shock consists of the high voltage of maximum 5000 V and over current test of 3 steps(90 A, 60 A, 40 A) and noise test. The mechanism of the fire and the electric shock tests reproduced are analyzed through the monitoring system and the oscilloscope. The electronics manufacturers can prevent accidents through the tests of the electronics factor reproduced and the analysis of the infrastructure designed.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to development the fire evaluating test methods for the Electric hair dryers. Methods: We was designed FMEA (Failure mode and effects analysis) in order to analyze the fire mechanism on the electric hair dryers and designed evaluating test methods (Durability tests on the environment, Mechanical durability tests) obtained through the two-step QFD (Quality Function Depolyment) and tested. Conclusion: We verified the evaluating fire test methods on the electric hair dryers through the analysis of the test results and some reproduction test.

  • According to 2013 fire statistical yearbook in the National Emergency Management Agency, the main cause of an electrical fire are classified to short circuit fault, overload fault, electric leakage, partial disconnection, and joint/contact badness. The occurrence factor of fire is electric arc or spark accompanied with electrical faults. Residual Current Protective Devices(RCDs) of high sensitivity type used at single phase (220V) cut off earth leakage and overload but the RCDs can not cut off electric arc or spark to be a main cause of electrical fire. To be improved on such problem, this thesis is proposed to a auxiliary control device for RCD cut off electric arc or spark.
