This study was aimed to analyze the status of the a health education and the health behavior, and to identify the effected factors of health promotion behavior based on Green's PRECEDE Model among high school students The data was collected by interview survey with self-administration questionnaire from the selected high school students during the end of the second semester, 2001, and 1,591 students are analyzed. The statistical method of the analysing for effected factors of health promotion behavior was used the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis by SPSS package program. The results of this study are as fellows. 1. The index of the health educational contents shows the 18.14 points per 86 points, 18.96 points in girl students, 17.53 points in boy students. 2. In the index of health promotion behaviors was 84.9 points per 140 full points in all average; 61 points per 100 points. The experienced rate of smoking was $35\%$ of all students, $38.5\%$ of boy students, $30.6\%$ of girl students each. The experienced rate of drinking was $62.2\%$ of all students, $61.6\%$ of boy students, $69.4\%$ of girl students. 3. The effected factors of the health promotions behaviors to analyse by multiple linear regression model was sports activity, the degree of satisfaction of their school life, the academic records of school, the present health conditions, their awareness for hazard of smoking for their health, the experiences of the smoking, their stresses(R$^2$ =0.174). and the factors as the experiences of drinking, their stresses, and the indexes for the health education contents in their school were added in girls students.

This study analyzed and investigated of positivism to set up a hypothesis with a model of study based on a theoretical consideration to analyze a structural empowerment, a psychological empowerment, an immersion of duty, and a devotion of organization. which made the dental hygienists an object of study of investigation and analyzation in order to understand relation to elements that have an effect on a business result, effect and degree in a dental hygienist's organization. The results of positive analysis in the study are as follows. A psychological empowerment is influenced by a level of satisfaction for their duty, educational level, and types of main duty. A structural empowerment is influenced by a level of satisfaction for their duty, total years of work, a level of salary, type of work place. Organizational devotion is influenced by the structural empowerment, total year of work, type of workplace, and a level of satisfaction for their duty. Devotion for their duty is influenced by the psychological empowerment, total year of work, type of main duty, main duty that they want in the future, and specialization for amin duty.

Purpose: This study developed a program to facilitate evidence-based practice (EBP) in one nursing organization, and identifies the effects of the program on the nurses' EBP facilitators. Methods: The program was based on the Transtheoretical Model of stages of organizational change, a literature review, the cases of hospitals overseas, and a prior study. To identify the effects of the program, a one-group pretest-posttest study was conducted with 45 nurses who participated in the EBP implementation. Results: The program consisted of EBP educational sessions, consultations with academic nursing faculty and clinical EBP mentors, and support from the administration and relevant departments. After the EBP program, there was a statistically significant difference in belief in the value of EBP between the pretest and the posttest (t=2.31, p=.026). However, no significant differences were found between the pretest and the posttest for organizational support to develop EBP (t=0.62, p=.537), skills in locating and evaluating research reports (s=-1.00, p=.987), knowledge of research language and skills (s=-1.00, p=.986), and time to devote to EBP (s=-23.00, p=.711). Conclusion: The findings provide important data that can be used to develop and implement strategies for enhancing EBP in clinical settings in Korea.
The purpose of this study is to emboss the importance of safety education by recognizing the instructor's thoughts on safety and the prevention of safety accidents of early-childhood through the examination, analysis of the education site of safety at early-childhood education facilities. The subject of this were 120 early-childhood teachers in the Jeonbuk areas. The data were collected using questionaries and analyzed by the statistical methods of frequencies. ANOVA with SPSS pc program. The research questions were as follows; 1. What is the understanding of early-childhood teachers on safety recognition? 2. Is there a difference in the understanding of the teacher on safety and the management of the education curriculum on safety education that is being taught at early-childhood education facilities? The main results and solutions of this study were as follows: 1. In order for early-childhood teachers to teach safety education in early-childhood education facilities, they must join a safety mutual aid association or join an insurance policy to furnish an appropriate compensation system. Also, safety education must be systematically taught at a $social{\cdot}national$ level so that teachers and young children can have an understanding on safety under the support and concern of early-childhood education facilities and administration authorities. 2. Results on the comparison of the understanding of safety education and management of actual education of teachers on the actual conditions of the education curriculum of safety education show that although teachers are aware of most items of safety education but the actual education was not being taught. This means that although the teachers are aware of the importance of safety education, the actual education is not being taught.
The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between empowerment, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment among physical therapists. Currently, healthcare is changing very rapidly with developments in science and technology. In response to these rapid and uncontrollable changes, organizational members are often empowered. Through the empowerment process, feelings of powerlessness and frustration can be reduced and factors promoting work performance, such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment could be enhanced. One said this term popularly, there was a lack of study. There have been few studies on physical therapy administration. Data was collected from 352 therapists from many hospitals from February 1 to February 28, 2008, and analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation, etc., were performed. The results were as follows: Of all the characteristics of empowered subjects, gender (p<.05) and age were observed to be significantly different (p<.01). Educational background, working pattern, marriage status, and the period of duty were observed to be different among empowered therapists (p<.001). The degree of empowerment as perceived by therapists was 58.72. Empowerment was correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment (p<.01). The study on empowerment was significant from the aspect of strategies to increase work performance. To elucidate the optimal strategy to effectuate empowerment in clinical practice, we studied various aspects of empowerment. Further studies on the relationship between empowerment and organizational commitment are warranted.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the female sexual dysfunction of North Korean defector women and to identify related factors. Methods: A total of 110 North Korean defector women who married and lived in South Korean community more than 1 year participated in this study. A self-report questionnaire was used to obtain data. The dependent variable is the Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI). Independent variables were demographic factors (age, education, residential environment, sexual experience(rape), sex knowledge and sex attitude). Data were analyzed using the SPSS for descriptive statistics, t-test, two-way ANOVA, and Multiple Hierarchical Regression. Results: The mean score of sexual function for North Korean defectors was 18.94(SD:5.88). Sexual functioning for North Korean defector women was relatively low, 18.94 in comparison to Rosen's cutoff scores of 26.6. In multiple regression analysis, the sexual function level was significantly higher in elderly, high educational level, stable residential situation, non rape, and conservative sexual attitudes. Conclusions: The results show the status and description of sexual dysfunction in North Korean Women defectors in South Korean community and can be a basic reference for study about sexual dysfunction. However, more study about North Korea Defector Women with sexual dysfunction should be interviewed and evaluated.
The entrepreneurship education for promoting the entrepreneurship is(has been) rapidly proceeded in recent year. In spite of increasing importance of entrepreneurs for successful new venture creation, structured educational programs for entrepreneur development are very limited in Korea. This paper is to develop the new entrepreneurship education in universities and graduate schools. For this entrepreneurship education program development, the survey is designed to Babson College which is voted "The Entrepreneurship Education's Best College" by US News & World report thirteen years in a row. Program development model of entrepreneurship education indicates an entrepreneurship education model, a subject model and a curriculum model through the analysis of a syllabus, the interviews with students, a fieldwork. Based on these literature review was organized research papers, documentary records, small and medium business administration research data. And program designing and implementing stage was composed of analyzing each subject of plan and education training, interviewing with Babson College's students. And observing the field. In addition, the tool of analyzing was collected a course in entrepreneurship education, related matters, a learned society, a research institute at Babson College and some books on pedagogics.
The purpose of this study was to explore socio-economic factors as determinants of food behavior and self-evaluation on meeting dietary guidelines. The data were derived from the KNHANES collected in 2007. A multidimensional framework of the determinants of food behavior was used, including age, gender, region, occupation, education, income and nutritional knowledge. The determinants of food behavior and self-evaluation were estimated by ordered logistic regression models. Food behavior was measured by dietary diversity scores including six food groups, which were cereals, vegetables, meats, fruits, milk, and oils. Self-evaluation on meeting dietary guidelines was based on responses from questionnaires for implementing Korean dietary guidelines. In general, the respondents who fulfilled all criteria were few. There were some differences between dietary diversity scores and self-evaluation on meeting dietary guidelines. Age, gender, and educational level showed effect on food behavior and self-evaluation. For dietary diversity scores, the individuals who were younger male, graduated from college were more likely to consume more various foods. The individuals who were older female, graduated from high school were more likely to meet dietary guidelines. Occupation was associated only with self-evaluation. Age and gender were associated with food behavior as well as self-evaluation. Income and marital status were associated only with dietary diversity scores. Reading food label and occupation were associated only with self-evaluation. The food behavior of married individuals was less in line with the dietary diversity scores than singles. In conclusion the differences between objective measure and subjective measure on individuals' diet showed more efforts like segmented nutritional education would be needed to increase the quality of dietary life.
The purpose of this paper was to investigate the difficulties experienced by the novice elementary school teachers in the mathematics classes and suggest some implications for teacher education and effective adaptation of novice teachers. The researchers observed mathematics lessons of 6 novice elementary school teachers and interviewed on the difficulties that they experience in teaching mathematics. The data were collected by lesson observations, interviews, discussion and email communications and categorized the data the types of difficulties those the teachers experience. The difficulties were difference between theory and practice, explanation, questioning, differentiated lesson, application of teaching method, evaluation, and understanding of mathematics. The implication from this study is that novice teachers need to supported by the administration as well as actively participate at various types of educational meetings.
The purpose of this study was (1) to examine the present state of English education for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics preparations, and (2) to identify the need for an English language training program for international sports events. With these goals in mind, the information was gathered from telephone interviews with educational administration officials who were responsible for international sporting events. For the survey, a total of twenty-six participants responded to a questionnaire designed to gauge their self-perceived English instructional needs for international sporting events. The principal results obtained from this study were: the Pyeongchang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Winter Olympic Games signed an agreement with an official supplier of language training services. In addition, Gangneung city is providing a 'Global Leaders' Academy' and English programs for taxi drivers and citizens. The result of the survey shows that the majority of participants reported that an English language training program is essential for international sporting events and it should be different from general English language education.
