Effects of Consumer's Individual Value on Product Selection Attribute and Re-purchase Intention : Focused on Consumers Who Had Purchased Kimchi

  • Purpose - The current study attempts to reveal the causal relationship and identify the interrelationships among individual value, product selection attribute, and re-purchase intention of consumers when purchasing kimchi. Research design, data, and methodology - The surveys were distributed and retrieved to kimchi consumers in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province who were over 20 years old and who had purchased kimchi before. The current study utilized the self-reporting survey as the research method. Result - First, as a result of hypothesis 1 test, both internal value and external value had a significant effect. Second, as a result of hypothesis 2 test, while internal value had a significant effect, external value did not have a significant effect. Third, as a result of hypothesis 3 test, while internal value had a significant effect, external value did not have a significant effect. Fourth, as a result of hypothesis 4 test, all quality, brand, and price had a significant effect. Fifth, as a result of hypothesis 5 test, while internal value had a significant effect, external value did not have a significant effect. Conclusion - The current study aims to establish marketing and service strategies to maximize profits and secure competitive advantage in the kimchi industry through changes in the management strategy of the Korean kimchi industry.

Apparel design evaluation process from users' perceived values

  • Apparel design is an economic activity to create values for users over the value chain of a product. In this paper, the contribution of apparel design is defined as the enhancement of users' perceived values by improving users' experience of products. In this context, the value of a product corresponds to compensation for experience or a promise for experience of a product. Experience can be sensory or psychological benefits to users. To evaluate the value of apparel design, the researcher identified and analyzed the apparel design parameters affecting users' experience and benefits of products such as macro-, micro-environmental factors, value chain factors, apparel designer factors, and user factors. For an analytical modeling of the values of apparel design, this paper introduces the concept of a utility function from economics. In economics, utility is a measure of desirability or satisfaction that can be correlative to need or desire. The measure of value can be found in the price which a user is willing to pay for the fulfillment or satisfaction of need or desire via the experience of a product.

농촌여성 노동의 화폐적 가치평가를 위한 일 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of the Money Value of Korean Rural Women's Labor)

  • The farm housewive's labor has not been properly evaluated, although it has traditionally shared and devoted a substantial portion of the farm household economy. The objective of this study is to estimate the money value of rural women's labor. The data were got from the result of time analysis of farm housewives in 1988. Among the four estimation methods used in this study, the mixed approach of houskeeper replacement cost with individual function cost showed the greatest value in the decision criteria of different farming region, farming size, housewive's age, family size and children number. The opportunity cost approach showed the lowest value, however, is considered as the most appropriate estimation approach in rural situation in this study. It is expected that the appropriate estimation approach should be estimate the money value of rural housewive's labor and their economic position.

도시 및 농촌 거주자의 가족 및 친족관련 가치관 비교 (A Study on the Family and kinship Value in Urban and Rural Families of Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the Korean value about family and kinship in urban and rural families. For this purpose, we surveyed 716 subjects with structured questionnaires in Seoul and 593 subjects in rural areas. From this survey, we reached the following conclusions: 1) In urban families, most of the respondents are found not to support familism, materialism, boy preference, and they show an ambivalence about the child value in the viewpoint of the reward and the cost. 2) Most of the respondents in rural families are found to support familism, materialism, and rewardable child value. But, as the same as urban families, they don't show boy preference. 3) Comparing urban families with rural families, the latter are found to support familism more strongly. And there are sleight differences in boy preference significantly. On the other hand, urban families are found to show costly chad value more strongly.

대두유의 산패에 미치는 일사광선의 영향 (Effect of Sunlight on the Rancidity of Soybean Oil)

  • The accelerating effect of sunlight on the rancidity of soybean oil and the efficacies of several anti-oxidants were measured. The result is as follows: 1. The ac야 value and peroxide value of soybean oil were 0.16 and 1, 72 respectively. 2. the peroxide value of soybean oil which was exposed to sunlight nine hours a day for six days was 134.3: 21 times of that which was not exposed to sunlight. 3. The peroxide value of the soybean oil with 0.02~0.06% BHA decreased a little, but not significantly. 4. The anti-rancidity effect of BHT was a little stronger than BHA. 5. The anti-rancidity effect of ascorbic acid alone was negligible. 6 The peroxide value of soybean oil with an anti-oxidant which comprised ascorbic acid, BHA and BHT decreased to one third of that which was not treated with anti-oxidant.

가사노동의 경제적 가치평가에 관한 연구 (Estimates of the Economic Value of Houshold Work by Fulltime Home Makers)

  • The aim of the present study is to estimates the economic value of household work done by fulltime home makers, using alternative methods of valuation household work in Pusan Korea. Eight findings, five different methods -Self Estimation by Home Makers, Reservation Wage, Opportunity Cost, Individual function Cost, Replacement Cost(Visiting Housekeeper, Housekeeper, General Managemet, Housekeeper & General Management)- are tried for the estimation of economic value of household work. The results of this study can be outlined as follows : 1) The economic value of household work varies substantially by the methods of estimating. The averages are : 2) The economic value of household work varies with the level of education, ages, the number of children, the stage of FLC in all method of estimation, and the level of income in self estimation by home makers, Reservation wage. Specially, FLC revealed good explanation variable in method of estimation as input household work time. 3) The gap between two-day survey and three-day survey in household work time questionaire didn't so much.

유지의 항산화제의 항산화능력에 대하여 (Studies on the Antioxidant Action of Antioxidant of Oils and Fats)

  • Many synthetic antioxidants are now used to prevent the oxidation of oils and fats. Among the synthetic and tioxidants, it was known that those of HQ(Hydroquinone), BHA(Butyl hydroxyanisole), IG(isoamyl gallate), and NDGA(Nordihydro guaiaretic acid) are most efficient as the antioxidizing agent. In this work, Degree of antioxidation was investigated on the some such antioxidans BHA, CI(citric acid), AA(Ascoric acid) for several kinds of oils and fats which are most available in Korea by determining Acid value and Iodine Value. The results of experiments were as follows 1. The decreasing order of antioxidizing action by acid value is BHA, AA, CA. 2. The order of antioxidizing action by Iodine value is almost same as the case of Acid Value. 3. It is effective to add the antioxidants to kep oils and fat. 4. Oxidation is accelerated by standing oils and fats after boiling in the from fry pan. 5. Sesame oil is little oxidized without antioxidant.

한국주부의 가사노동의 경제적 가치추정 (Estimates of the Economic Value of Housework by Fulltime Housewives in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey alternative methods of valuation of housework, and then to estimate the economic value of housework done by fulltime housewives in Korea. Four different methods-Self Estimation by Housewives, Opportunity Cost, Individual Function Cost and Housekeeper Replacement cost-are tried for the estimation of economic value of housework. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: (1) The economic value of housework varies substantially by the methods of estimation. The average are: *Estimates of Economic values of Housework by Each Method of Estimation (2) The economic value of housework varies with the level of education, ages, household income, the size of family, the number of children, the number of preschool children.

추구혜택과 패션이미지가 제주지역 패션문화상품 갈옷 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Benefit thought and Fashion Image on Purchase Intention fo Gal-ot)

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to identify the effect of clothing benefit sought on fashion image sought and 2) to determine the effects of fashion image and benefit sought on purchase intention of Gal-ot. The data were collected via a self-administered questionnaire from 172 female tourist(20 to 50 ages) in Cheju and analyzed by factor analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis and logistic regression analysis. Four factors of benefit sought were identified : Practicality/economic-value, aesthetics, reputation, and souvenir-value. Six factors of fashion image were found and labeled as: Sexy/feminine, wild/mannish, easy/simple, Cheju image, ecology and natural image. The effects of benefits sought(Practicality/economic-value, aesthetics, reputation and souvenir-value) on fashion image(Sexy/feminine, easy/simple, Cheju and natural image) were found. There were also significant effects of benefit sought(souvenir-value) and fashion image(Cheju image) on purchase intention of Gal-ot.

도시 대학생들의 식품에 대한 가치 평가 분석 (A Study of Value Evaluation for Foods among College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the value evaluation of foodstuff of 448 college students residing in the urban area. As a result of analyzing the value of each foodstuff, two to four factors were drawn from each foodstuff. The factors were classified into the social-conceptual factor, the preparatory factor, the quality factor, the economic factor, the subjective factor, and the complex factor. It was learned that the social-conceptual factor was dominant over the majority of college students in the evaluation of value of foodstuffs. There was a difference in the factor of the value evaluation for each foodstuff according to sex and the main growth region among the college students. A significant difference was found between the sexes regarding the preparatory factor and the economic factor. Also, in accordance with the main growth region, there was great difference in the social-conceptual factor(except for the Korean rice cake).
