A study on the health care of Ewha Womans University staff, faculty and families was conducted during the period from March 1973 to August 1974 using designed questionaire. A total of 196 persons who were randomly sampled as 27.3% of the total staff and faculty 789 were studied. The response rates were 96.0%. The results and findings obtained from the study are summerized as follow. 1. The sex ratio of the members the faculty and the staff shows 83.2% and the singles are 37.2% of the total. Their mean family size being 4.6 persons per capita, each family has mean number of 2.3 childeren. 2. The median monthly income of a member of faculty amounts \114,000 and that of a staff \43,077. It amounts \79,333 when the median monthly income of both the members of the faculty and the staff are taken. Consequently, it amounts \91,727\ per family (Assumed mean). 3. 71.4% of the total hold the house of their own. A spouses of 59.4% of them are working for the additional income of the family. 4. Their health condition is rated fair, i. e. 92.3% of them enjoy good health. Out of total members faculty and the staff, 20.6% are cared by family physician. 36.2% of them feel that they are burdened by heavy medical expense. 5. 76.7% of them have affirmatively responded that they would purchase medical insurance policy when they were offered. It reaches 84.0% of the total who consider buying the policy for their dependents. 74.0% of them desire to purchase the policy for their spouse's parents. 6. The monthly prevalence rate reaches 17.0% and the hospital admission rate 4.7%.12.3% of them affirmatively responded that they had chronic diseas. The number of sick call per capita counts 0.2 per month and the hospital admission rate 0.05. 7. To examine the nature of their disease, the respiratory disease is rated to be the top and the gastro-intestinal disease comes to the next. As far as chronic disease is concerned, the gastro-intestinal disease is predominent. 8. As to their treatment, 65.4% of them get the physician's treatment and 17.0% treatment of drug purchasing and 7.7% prefer Chinesedrug. 6.6% of them gets no medical treatment at all. 9. The treatment ratio, including drug purchasing and other means, reaches 93.4%. 60.7% of them affirmatively responded that they did not or could not get physician's treatment at least once even though they thought they had to. It is disclosed that 25.4% of them are caused by economical reason. 10. Average medical expense per case amounts \7,116 and monthly medical expense per capita \1,345. Consequently, average monthly medical expense per family amounts \6,185. 11. The medical expense of a family is rated 7.7% of total earnings of the same period.
1. Introduction The new computing era started with the various computer technologies and services having been used in communication and automation area since 1980's. We call that era information technology(IT) era. In such era, especially communication plays very important roles in every aspect. So Schoderbek named that era the ege of c2. Therefore, communition became widely used in organizations. Now the majority of organizations have computer-aided communication capabilities that facilitate access to people and information, both within and outside organization. So one objective of this study is to assess the effects of these changes in data communication on decision making. Decision making is the essence of management and is too important to organizational success. This dissertation has three basic objectives: 1)to clarify the concept of data communication, who influences on decision making, and the concept of decision types, managerial and operational, may be affected differently by data communication 2)to investigate whether the effects of data communication upon decision making may be organizational variables. 3)to verify that business and decision types may affect different impact on decision making.2. Hypotheses Four attributes are selected to make hypotheses from the information attributes presented by famous scholars. They are as follows. ①effectiveness ②routinization ③communication easiness ④timeliness Hypotheses are developed according to these attributes, which are chosen from the literature study and theory H1 : Data communication is positively related to the effectiveness of DM H2 : Data communication is positively related to the routinization of DM H3 : Data communication is positively related to the communication easiness of DM H4 : Data communication is positively related to the timeliness of information for DM3. Methodology After pilot study, data are collected from the decision makers in 200 companies located at Seoul and the metropolitan area. A random sample of 174 employees sent back their questionnaires(response rate of 87%). Among them, 151 questionnaires was useful to the analysis of this study(useful rate of 75.5%).4. Conclusion and Discussion Among four proposed hypotheses, all hypotheses are fully supported. They are as follows. 1)effectiveness 2)routinization 3)communication easiness 4)timeliness. So, first objective of this study is proved. Namely, to clarify that the effects of data communication upon DM is fully supported. But they are different from the decision types. Second one is not apparently verfied. i.e. the effect of data communication on the decision variables is not moderated by organizational variables. Third is inspected. The effects of data communication differs from the industry and decision types evidently. This study has many limitations to generalize the statistical results. Since the definition of data communication has broad meanings in reality. So allare not contained in this research. Another restrict in this study is like this. Decision types are usually divided into three types-operational, managerial, strategic DM. But in this study, strategic DM is left out.

What do our mathematics teachers now do in the classroom? What does it actually mean to teach mathematics? Every preparatory mathematics teacher is confronted with these questions since they have studied to become a teacher. Almost all in-service teachers are faced by of questions, too, as they evaluate their teaching in the light of that of their colleagues. In this sense, Jon L. Higgins has proposed mathematics teaching patterns of five categories, i. e., exploring, modeling, underlining, challenging, and practicing, for the sake of our all teachers. Next, J. P. Guilford has suggested three faces of intellect presented by a single solid model, which we call the 'structure of intellect' Each dimension represents one of the modes of variation of the factors. It is found that the various kinds of operations are in one of the dimensions, the various kinds of products are in another, and the various kinds of contents are in the other one. In order to provide a better basis for understanding this model and regarding it as a picture of human intellect, I've explored it systematically and shown some concrete examples for its tests. Each cell in the model stands for a certain kind of ability that can be described in terms of operation, content, and product, for each cell is at the intersection uniquely combined with kinds of ope- ration, content, and product. In conclusion, how could we use the teaching patterns of five categories, that is, exploring, modeling, underlining, challenging, and practicing, according to the given mathematics learning substances? And also, how could children constitute the learning sub- stances well in their mind with a viewpoint of constructivism if teachers would connect the mathematics teaching patterns of five categories with any factors among the three faces of intellect? I've made progress this study focusing on such problems.

Knowledge which is represented by formal logic are widely used in many domains such like artificial intelligence, information retrieval, e-commerce and so on. And for medical field, medical documentary records retrieval, information systems in hospitals, medical data sharing, remote treatment and expert systems need knowledge representation technology. To retrieve information intellectually and provide advanced information services, systematically controlled mechanism is needed to represent and share knowledge. Importantly, medical expert's knowledge should be represented in a form that is understandable to computers and also to humans to be applied to the medical information system supporting decision making. And it should have a suitable and efficient structure for its own purposes including reasoning, extendability of knowledge, management of data, accuracy of expressions, diversity, and so on. we call it ontology which can be processed with machines. We can use the ontology to represent traditional medicine knowledge in structured and systematic way with visualization, then also it can also be used education materials. Hence, the authors developed an Shanghanlun ontology by way of showing an example, so that we suggested a methodology for ontology development and also a model to structure the traditional medical knowledge. And this result can be used for student to learn Shanghanlun by graphical representation of it's knowledge. We analyzed the text of Shanghanlun to construct relational database including it's original text, symptoms and herb formulars. And then we classified the terms following some criterion, confirmed the structure of the ontology to describe semantic relations between the terms, especially we developed the ontology considering visual representation. The ontology developed in this study provides database showing fomulas, herbs, symptoms, the name of diseases and the text written in Shanghanlun. It's easy to retrieve contents by their semantic relations so that it is convenient to search knowledge of Shanghanlun and to learn it. It can display the related concepts by searching terms and provides expanded information with a simple click. It has some limitations such as standardization problems, short coverage of pattern(證), and error in chinese characters input. But we believe this research can be used for basic foundation to make traditional medicine more structural and systematic, to develop application softwares, and also to applied it in Shanghanlun educations.
What is an exhibition? Is it of the system which is designed to serve Art Works in their representation, or is it a place where the artistic presentation could be considered as art work itself? After modernist era, the role of exhibitional space might have been shifted from those two principle raison d'$\^{e}$tre of exhibitional space into another, a new one. What Deleuze would call it as he borrowed the term from Spinozian philosophy : the Affectional Space. This new type of exhibitional space has been announced since 1969 when a Harald Szeeman, young independent curator and art critic from Swiss, has organized his brilliant exhibition "When Attitudes become Form" in Bern. For sure, these intensities in curatorial practices have been existing before like some early 20th century exhibitional efforts by Marcel Duchamp, El Lissitzky, Yve Klein, etc. It has influenced much on many of, otherwise most of contemporary art exhibiting practices. And now it seems to be necessary to give it a conceptual idea which could enlighten better the new paradigm of exhibitional practices that we try to clarify. I would propose the idea of that new exhibitional space as "space of non-organic becoming". This idea is inspired by Deleuze's ever famous philosophical work Thousand Plateaus, which, with Folds by the same author, has contributed to many contemporary and aesthetical debating issues. What is "affect"? Explaining about Spinoza's principle concepts, Deleuze defines it as a kind of durations or variations which are constituted by different levels of perfection. One perfection is precedented or followed by certain perfection bigger or lesser through lived transitions or passages. So each time it actualizes and reflects the state of All as a cut of Reality while each state of affections, images or ideas can not be separated from the duration which binds it to the precedent state and extends it to following one. Affect is also a term of changes. One affects at the same time it is affected. Exhibitional space as affect (or affectional space) is distinguished from representational and presentational space in the way it attributes movement, produces arrangements and generates new factors of artistic creation including those which are outside of ever accepted artistic elements. The concepts of affectional space are used especially to enlighten contemporary situation of artistic and curatorial processes. Art is no more limited to be seen as mere objects of aesthetical admiration, nor as art vis-$\`{a}$-vis art relationship apart from the whole. It includes possibilities and virtuality that appear in the imperceptible and undescribable manners if delimited in given language. As once noticed by Kuhn, we might be living in a paradigmatically shifting world, not only in Art but also in Life. And we need to express it more with Art as moving and affectional nods than as just a clean window or a distinct manual book.
The modern period was the time that the most radical and extensive social and mental changes were occurring throughout the history, and modernism was prevailing as a general cognition system of people. Modernism, which carries principles of progress, belief in application of scientific technology, worship of reason, ideal of liberty as a col-e value of civilization, was plated as a leading ideology in the realm of society, culture and art In the early 20th century. In this study, the formative characteristics of modernism seen in architecture and fashion are analogized and analyzed in four ways ell the basis of the theory of p. Greenhalgh. First, 'Standardization for mass-production', which is analogized which P. Greenhalgh's 'Decompart-mentalisation', 'Social Morality', and' Technology'. Standardization for mass-production in architecture focuses on the development of a design prototype in order to mass produce; the development of ready-made clothes is actively done ill the fashion area for the same purpose as well. Second, 'Rational functionality' coming from P. Greenhalgh's 'The total work of art' and 'Function'. While rational functionality in architecture puts an emphasis on the rational operation of all the functions in regard to the relation between each part and the whole, rational functionality in fashion call be mainly seen in a dramatic increase in physical activity which could be hardly found before the modernism period. Namely, all the fashion design elements are developed for a certain rational and functional design on each part as well as on the whole in order to greatly increase physical activity. Third, 'the pursuit for genuineness of objects and universality of beauty' is on the analogy of P Greenhalgh's 'Truth', 'Anti-historicism', 'Abstraction', 'Internationalism/Universality'. This idea is adopted in architecture in the form of design of geometrical abstraction. In the same way, design using geometrical abstraction comes to have a significant meaning in fashion of the modernism period. So to speak, modernism architecture and fashion can be reborn to become an inter·national style by giving up the decorative and regional design prevailing before modernism and by expressing universal aesthetics in the form of simplicity and abstraction instead. Fourth, 'Expression of progress through a change in a viewpoint' stems from P. Greenhalgh's 'Progress', 'Transformation of Consciousness', 'Theology'. In architecture, this concept appears by using new construction materials and methods and by representing new aesthetical idea. As a result, it makes it possible for people to make progress for better lives. Like in architecture, new attempts for material application and processing are made in fashion. This gives rise to a general change in a viewpoint related to fashion, so that a flew fashion design which there has never been before can come out.
Purpose - The Northeast Asian Logistic Hub strategy was established to create a national competitive advantage in northeast Asia. Countries in this region are competing fiercely to become the central base distribution port as the volume of container shipping continues to increase due to the northeast Asian (especially Chinese) economic growth. The primary method by which shippers are improving their customer service and distribution is enhancing profits by minimizing call ports on the key route through strategic affiliations and the use of large vessels. Each nation is planning large-scale investments in the construction of sea ports that can accommodate large vessels. This paper proposes ways by which the logistical strategies of domestic corporations can keep pace with changes in government policy concerning the Northeast Asian Business Hub policy. It examines the logistics system in the Northeast Asian region, analyzes the government's Northeast Asian Business Hub policy, and suggests logistical strategies for domestic corporations through an analysis based on a questionnaire designed to grasp domestic firms' needs and goals. Research design, data and methodology - The purpose of this study is to determine how shipping companies establish partnerships with third-party logistics providers and draws out the implications of the results. The survey methods used were personal interviews and questionnaires distributed to a sample population through e-mail, fax, mail, and telephone. A total of 600 questionnaires were distributed, of which 165 were returned. Among these, ten were excluded due to insufficient content; ultimately, 155 were used for the sample. The statistical data collection process was analyzed through data coating and a statistical package program. Results - This study argues that greater flexibility in policies, administration, and systems will be needed to significantly improve established business practices. In this dissertation, we primarily identify that in order to become a center of northeast Asian logistics, Korea must adopt a new paradigm and abandon the existing systems that are based on the economic and social systems that have stemmed from bureaucracy, inflexibility, chauvinism, and equalitarianism. Flexible policies, administration, and systems will be necessary to improve business practices. Domestic corporations must establish a strategic logistics hub and related network while simultaneously pursuing value-added logistics businesses by increasing their manpower and building a logistics information system. This will strengthen their competitive edge and lead to system improvements. Conclusions - Domestic corporations must adopt a new paradigm and use more reasonable business laws, systems, and policies that are based on market-driven flexibility and transparency. Moreover, social norms and regulations should be established to help ensure political and social security. Korea must also develop a culture of tolerance for foreign companies. Finally, the paradigm defining the policy governing the development of the capital city and its satellite cities in this context must be changed.
If R is ring and M is a right (or left) R-module, then M is called a faithful R-module if, for some a in R, x.a=0 for all x.mem.M then a=0. In [4], R.E. Johnson defines that M is a prime module if every non-zero submodule of M is faithful. Let us define that M is of prime type provided that M is faithful if and only if every non-zero submodule is faithful. We call a right (left) ideal I of R is of prime type if R/I is of prime type as a R-module. This is equivalent to the condition that if xRy.subeq.I then either x.mem.I ro y.mem.I (see [5:3:1]). It is easy to see that in case R is a commutative ring then a right or left ideal of a prime type is just a prime ideal. We have defined in [5], that a chain of right ideals of prime type in a ring R is a finite strictly increasing sequence I$_{0}$.contnd.I$_{1}$.contnd....contnd.I$_{n}$; the length of the chain is n. By the right dimension of a ring R, which is denoted by dim, R, we mean the supremum of the length of all chains of right ideals of prime type in R. It is an integer .geq.0 or .inf.. The left dimension of R, which is denoted by dim$_{l}$ R is similarly defined. It was shown in [5], that dim$_{r}$R=0 if and only if dim$_{l}$ R=0 if and only if R modulo the prime radical is a strongly regular ring. By "a strongly regular ring", we mean that for every a in R there is x in R such that axa=a=a$^{2}$x. It was also shown that R is a simple ring if and only if every right ideal is of prime type if and only if every left ideal is of prime type. In case, R is a (right or left) primitive ring then dim$_{r}$R=n if and only if dim$_{l}$ R=n if and only if R.iden.D$_{n+1}$ , n+1 by n+1 matrix ring on a division ring D. in this paper, we establish the following results: (1) If R is prime ring and dim$_{r}$R=n then either R is a righe Ore domain such that every non-zero right ideal of a prime type contains a non-zero minimal prime ideal or the classical ring of ritght quotients is isomorphic to m*m matrix ring over a division ring where m.leq.n+1. (b) If R is prime ring and dim$_{r}$R=n then dim$_{l}$ R=n if dim$_{l}$ R=n if dim$_{l}$ R<.inf. (c) Let R be a principal right and left ideal domain. If dim$_{r}$R=1 then R is an unique factorization domain.TEX>R=1 then R is an unique factorization domain.
Mt. Kyeryong(828 meters in height) is located at $36^{\circ}18^{\prime}{\sim}36^{\circ}23^{\prime}$ N.L. and $127^{\circ}10^{\prime}{\sim}127^{\circ}17^{\prime}$ E.L., and also occupies three districts: Gongju-Gun, Nonsan-Gun, Daedeok-Gun. Authors surveyed the flora of the areas ten times from May to October, 1979. Variability of floras is rather high and dominant species are such as Pinus densiflora, Quercus mongolica, Quercus serrata, Quercus variabilis, Lindera erythrocarpa, Carpinus cordata, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum var. koreanum, Strax japonica, Sapium japonicum, Euonymus oxyphyllus, Sorbus alnifolia, Stephanandra incisa, Weigela subsessilis, Rhododendron mutcronulatum, Lespedeza bicolor, Sasa borealis, Celastrus orbiculatus, Arundinella hirta, Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascans, and so on. There are 105 families, 355 genera, 679 species. According to the use of floras, they can be classified as follows; 69 familia and 287 species for edible source, 83 familia and 227 species of medicinal, 60 familia and 253 species for forage, 44 familia and 132 species for ornamental and 12 familia and 39 species for timber source.

Interest in the Quality of working life is spreading rapidly and the phrase has entered the popular vocabulary. That this should be so is probably due in large measure to changes in the values of society, nowadays accelerated as never before by the concerns and demands of younger people. But however topical the concept has become, there is very little agreement on its definition. Rather, the term appears to have become a kind of depository for a variety of sometimes contradictory meanings attributed to it by different groups. A list of all the elements it if held to cover would include availability and security of employment, adaquate income, safe and pleasant physical working conditions, reasonable hours of work, equitable treatment and democracy in the workplace, the possibility of self-development, control over one's work, a sense of pride in craftsmanship or product, wider career choices, and flexibility in matters such as the time of starting work, the number of working days in the week, Job sharing and so on altogether an array that encompasses a variety of traditional aspirations and many new ones reflecting the entry into the post industrial era. The term "quality of working life" was introduced by professor Louis E. Davis and his colleagues in the late 1960s to call attention to the prevailing and needlessly poor quality of life at the workplace. In their usage it referred to the quality of the relationship between the worker and his working environment as a whole, and was intended to emphasize the human dimension so often forgotten among the technical and economic factors in job design. Treating workers as if they were elements or cogs in the production process is not only an affront to the dignity of human life, but is also a serious underestimation of the human capabilities needed to operate more advanced technologies. When tasks demand high levels of vigilence, technical problem-solving skills, self initiated behavior, and social and communication skills. it is imperative that our concepts of man be of requisite complexity. Our aim is not just to protect the worker's life and health but to give them an informal interest in their job and opportunity to express their views and exercise control over everything that affects their working life. Certainly, so far as his work is concerned, a man must feel better protected but he must also have a greater feeling of freedom and responsibility. Something parallel but wholly different if happening in Europe, industrial democracy. What has happened in Europe has been discrete, fixed, finalized, and legalized. Those developing centuries driving toward industrialization like R.O.K, shall have to bear in mind the human complexity in processing and designing the work and its environment. Increasing attention is needed to the contradiction between autocratic rule at the workplace and democratic rights in society.n society.
