A Study on Simulation-Based Collaborative E-Learning System for Security Education in Medical Convergence Industry (의료융합산업 보안교육을 위한 시뮬레이션 기반 협동형 이러닝 시스템 연구)

  • During COVID-19, education industry is organizing the concept of 'Edutech', which has evolved one step further from the existing e-Learning, by introducing various intelligent information technologues based on the core technology of the 4th industrial revolution and spreading it through diverse contents. Meanwhile, each industries are creating new industries by applying new technology to existing businesses and ask for needs of cultivating human resources who understand the existing traditional ICT technology and industrial business which can solve a newly rising problems. However, it is difficult to build contents for cultivating such human resources with the existing e-learning of transferring knowledge by one-way or some two-way commnication system which has established some interactive conversational system. Accordingly, this study conducted a research on a cooperative e-learning system that enables educators to communicate with learners in real time and allows problem-solving education based on the existing two-way communication system. As a result, frame for contents and prototype was developedp and artially applied to the actual class and conducted an efficiency analysis, which resulted in the validation of being applied to the actual class as a simulation-based cooperative content.

Promoting E-learning in University Education in Korea: The Role of Regional University E-learning Centers

  • This paper aims at investigating what Regional University E-Learning Centers (RUECs) has done in promoting e-learning in university education in Korea. First, the e-learning situation in university education in Korea is introduced. Secondly, the background of establishment of RUECs and its functions are explained in detail. Thirdly, a case of RUECs is suggested by using the CNU-University E-Learning Center. In particular, the performance of e-learning is evaluated based on the student satisfaction data, and a paired-t test is implemented to see if there was any difference between 'before' and 'after' e-learning. Lastly, some suggestions are made to promote the e-learning in university education.

  • 국내 금형 및 사출 제조업체들을 대상으로 경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 e-매뉴팩처링 인력양성이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 금형 e-매뉴팩처링에 대한 교육을 위하여 e-러닝 사리트를 개발하고 이에 대한 교육 콘텐츠를 개발하였다. 금형 e-매뉴팩처링을 위한 e-러닝 싸이트는 교육 콘텐츠를 체계적으로 관리하고 수강할 수 있도록 LMS(Learning Management System)으로 개발하였다. 교육 콘텐츠로는 금형 e-매뉴팩처링 기본과점, UG-Mold Wirard 과정, UG-MX 중급과정, 금형 기술과정, 금형 협업허브시스템 사용자 교육과점 등을 개발하였다.

  • E-learning is the application of e-business technology and services to teaching and learning. It use of new multimedia technologies and Internet to improved the qualify of learning by facilitating access to remote resources and services. In this paper, we show a computer-based test system, which is carefully designed and implemented. The system consists of a contents delivery mechanism, computer-adaptive test algorithm, and review engine. In this papepr, we describe what are points to be considered when design and implementing a computer-based test system. In addition, this paper shows how to control the bias value for computer-adaptive algorithm using real data.

  • E-learning has increased on importance as people realize that the use of technology can improve the teaming process. Consequently, new learning environments have been developed. However, in general they are oriented to address a specific e-learning functionality. Therefore, in most of the cases, they are not developed to interoperate with other e-learning tools, which makes the creation of a fully functional e-learning environment more difficult.   • The Education has responsibility for predicting the social changes and cultivating global talent which the society needs. The ministry of education, science and technology in govern ment has been the concerns on social educational changes and thus built the '5 31 educational reform policy' in 1995 by the educational reform committee. As a solution of a social change, this paper reviews the three-phase educational information policies, and e-learning and u-learning which are the main technologies in educational information. Also, the technologies of e-learning can be divided into m-learning, t-learning, u-learning, r-learning, game-based learning according to the contents mass media. Among them, this paper introduces the concept of robot-learning, called r-learning, and compares it with u-learning.

  • Recently, digital convergence, whose core demand is OSMU (One Sourse Multi Use),has been the main topic in e-learning domain and industry. However, the existing web learning content and the new resource developed toprovide contents to different learning environment must be processed to adapt the new learning settings, which causes the cost and time problem, So in this paper we design and implement a Java based SCORM content transcoding system which can transcode the SCORM-based learning content into MHP-based DiTV content in order to adapt t-learning environment using DiTV, which is closer to our real life. Using this system which has ability of inter-operation, reuse, highly-use, the problem mentioned above can be solved well. Moreover, it is possible for a learner who is not familiar with computer to study using DiTV instead of PC.

  • This paper has studied the concept and technical factors of e-Learning system to which we intend to apply domestic biodiversity information. This article describes how we analyzed and designed the e-learning system to serve biodiversity information as e-Learning contents. It would be useful for the public and students if this information are organized and provided as e-learning contents especially in our country which has well-established network infrastructure considering the limited land space. It is expected that the establishment of e-Learning system based on this proposed design will help students and public to access and team biodiversity on cyber space.
