A Study on User Satisfaction of Public Library e-Book Services: Focusing on Gangdong District Library in Seoul (공공도서관 전자책 서비스 이용자 만족도 조사 연구 - 서울시 강동구 도서관을 중심으로 -)

  • The pandemic, which came unannounced, has caused people to feel the limitations of physical books and spaces, and discussions on library digital capabilities and sustainable library services are spreading. The e-book service of public libraries is at the stage of expanding to the autonomous district level and seeking to revitalize the service. In this study, a user satisfaction survey was conducted on the Gangdong district Library in Seoul to identify the current status of public library e-book services and suggest improvement measures. Based on the analysis results, improvement measures were derived in three aspects: expanding e-book content, strengthening user support services, and improving the e-book system management system.

A Study on User Satisfaction with e-Book Services in University Libraries (대학도서관 전자책 서비스 이용자 만족도에 관한 연구)

  • This research surveyed college students in Korea on their satisfaction for e-book services provided by university libraries. Their usage behavior was investigated, and the satisfaction rate for e-book usage and its service quality were analyzed to comprehend the status of e-book usage. The analysis showed that overall satisfaction for e-book service of university libraries was 2.93 on average. Moreover, the more frequently a student used the service, the more satisfied the student was; junior/senior-level and graduate school student groups showed higher satisfaction for e-book service than freshman and sophomore students. The most influential factor for satisfaction based on the e-book service quality was the content of the service, followed by the library support service system. Based on the findings, reinforcement of library public relations and user education, and the maintenance of the variety and up-to-date status of the contents were proposed to stimulate future university library e-book services.

  • The purposes of this study are to investigate the perception and use of e-books by librarians and children and to suggest important elements to improve e-book services at the children's libraries. User survey questionaries and interviews from fifty five librarians and thirty children were carried for the perceptions and the use of e-books at five children's libraries. Based upon the data analysis from two groups, three important elements for improving e-book services of the libraries were suggested as follows: providing enough e-book contents, facilities and spaces, developing e-book user education programs with proactive pubic relations, and providing professional continuing education programs regarding e-books to librarians.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the casual relationships of the service qualify, the satisfaction of the users, and the loyalty of the users on the academic libraries. The study develops a model and a hypothesis based on the previous researches, and testifies through multiple regressions and path analysis using questionnaires from 266 academic library users(undergraduate students and graduate students) in the C University. The result of this study is summarized as the following: the service qualifies of e-service, contents, and librarians significantly influences the satisfaction of the users-undergraduate students on the qualifies of library space/environment and contents, and graduate students on the qualities of e-service and librarian. The satisfaction of the users and the quality of e-service are the variables that influence the loyalty of the users. The quality of e-service is an important variable that influence both the satisfaction and the loyalty of the users in academic libraries.

  • This study attempts to verify the effect of e-CRM on reuse intetnion of e-learning and to determine whether the presense mediates the relationship between e-CRM and reuse intetnion of e-learning through empirical analysis. The results of the study are as follows. First, The effect of e-CRM(e-marketing, e-service, e-communication) on the intention of reuse for e-learning services was significant. Second, it was found that the effect of e-CRM(e-marketing, e-service) on reuse intention of e-learning was significantly mediated by the teaching presence. Third, it was found that the effect of e-CRM(e-marketing, e-service, e-communication) on reuse intention of e-learning was significantly mediated by the cognitive presence. Finally, it was found that the effect of e-CRM(e-marketing) on reuse intention of e-learning was significantly mediated by the social presence.

  • 본 연구는 e-행정서비스의 개념을 소개하고 실제 국내에 이를 구현하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 이를 위해 선진 4개국의 사례를 도입기간, 시스템 체계, 시스템 범위, 도입 환경 등에 대해 살펴보고 논의한다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 e-행정서비스 실현 방안으로는 인터넷 패러다임에 부응한 추진전략의 수립, e-행정서비스 통합시스템의 구축, 정부 공개키 기반구조 체계의 정립, 다목적 스마트카드 도입, 인터넷 시대에 적응할 수 있는 행정정보화 관련 법 제도 보완, 그리고 마지막으로 인터넷 기반기술의 신속한 도입을 위한 유연한 환경 조성 등이다.

  • 차세대 유무선 통신망이 급속하게 All-IP 기반으로 전환되어 감에 따라 전세계적으로 인터넷전화 서비스가 기존 유선전화를 빠르게 대체해 나가고 있다. 그러나, 이와 관련된 적절한 규제없이 서비스가 진행됨에 따라 시민의 안전을 위협하는 사례가 발생되고있다. 따라서, 미국의 연방통신위원회(FCC)에서는 2005년 5월 인터넷전화 서비스 제공업체에게 긴급통화 서비스 제공에 대한 의무를 규정한 VoIP E911 고시(order)를 제정하였다. VoIP E911 고시는 고시의 대상이 되는 서비스를 정의하고, 고시의 발표일이후 120일 이내인 2005년 11월 28일까지 E911 서비스 요구사항을 준수하라는 내용을 담고 있다. 이후 2005년 11월 7일에 연방통신위원회(FCC)에서는 인터넷전화 서비스 제공업체들에게 VoIP E911 고시의 이행현황에 대하여 2005년 11월 28일까지 제출하라고 하였다. 따라서, 본 고에서는 연방통신위원회(FCC)의 VoIP E911 고시(order)를 중심으로 미국의 VoIP 긴급통화 정책동향에 대하여 분석하고자 한다.

  • 한국형 e-Navigation의 '예도선 지원 서비스'는 국내 항만에서 예도선에 필요한 각종 정보를 제공하는 서비스이다. 최근 국내 도선 시행 횟수가 꾸준히 증가하고 있으며, 현재 우리나라에서는 도선 및 예선의 안전을 위한 별도의 정보를 제공하는 서비스가 존재하지 않아, 예도선을 위한 정보시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는, '예도선 지원 서비스'에 대한 설명과 각각의 기능 및 기대효과를 제시한다. 본 연구에서 개발되는 서비스를 통해, 국내 예도선의 효율성을 향상시키고, 안정성을 확보하는데 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

  • The e-learning market in korea has been growing rapidly over the past several years. We selects the variables well matched to service quality of e-learning site on the basis of independent variables of this study, sets the models as adding the factors newly noticed such as convenience of site use in e-learning. We also see the significance of the relationships between service quality of e-learning site, personal performance, customer satisfaction and customer's reuse intention.
