Sliding Ceiling Panel Structure (미닫이 천정판 구조)

  • Subway stations have a characteristic that the facilities in the ceiling should be checked, replaced or expanded frequently. The frequent opening and closing of ceiling panels result in the damage of panels which makes them easily disengaged. In order to resolve this issue, which is giving difficulty in the maintenance of the stations, this study suggest a sliding ceiling panel structure which can be opened and closed with sliding mechanism, instead of current fixed type ceiling panels. The sliding ceiling panel will prevent the damage of ceiling panels due to frequent disengagement and engagement. It will increase the durability of ceiling panel and extend the cycle of panel replacement. Accordingly, the maintenance cost will be also reduced.

  • In the existed study, a fire outbreak in a reinforced concrete structure looses the organism by the different contraction and expansion of hardened cement pastes and aggregate, and causes cracks by thermal stress, leading to the deterioration of the durability. So accurate diagnosis of deterioration is needed based on mechanism of fire deterioration in general concrete structures. Fundamental information and data on the properties of concrete exposed to high temperature are necessary for accurate diagnosis of deterioration. Therefore, this study is willing to propose fundamental data for accurate diagnosis of deteriorated concrete structure by fire damage with experiment according to the curing conditions.

  • There are a lot of problem about waterproofing membrane coating for concrete deck of bridge and waterproofing sheets for concrete of deck of bridge because it couldn't confirm waterproofing's defeat after construction. These problems make a waterproofing material damage and condrete deck of bridge damage. So It needs a lot of money for repair work and reinforcement work. Therefor the structure slab of using waterproofing material protect invasion of water. Also, Concrete deck of bridge need a endurance permeability for the reduction repair payment. In this study, An experimental study on the quality standardization test method waterproofing layer on working of live load.

  • The overlay welding the automobile where the durability is demanded, it is used in the vessel engine valve, plant valve and pump parts. Cause of damage public opinion one what is thought is the fatigue load due to the opening and shutting operation right time repetition of the engine valve. The damage cause of the engine valve or explanation of destruction mechanism is very difficult. The research which it sees to make clear a overlay welding of Co-alloy by Plasma Transferred Arc Weld Surfacing Process reconsideration fatigue crack initiation and fatigue crack growth mechanism at high temperature.

  • It is the aim of this study to introduce the performance and application of new repair system for the exterior wall by durability failure caused carbonation and salt damage. The elementary performance of this repair system is as follows. (1) Al the layer in the repair are cement based, same with the mother concrete (2) this repair system use SBR admixture (3) This cement and mortar powder for this repair system are premixed and ready to use just adding admixture at the job site.

  • For most bearings, it is a common requirement to have long durability. Especially wheel bearing fatigue life is the most important in automotive quality. The contact fatigue life analysis of automotive wheel bearing considering real raceway rough surface is presented in this paper. Contact stresses are obtained by contact analysis of a semi-infinite solid based on the use of influence functions; the subsurface stress field is obtained using rectangular patch solutions. Mesoscopic multiaxial fatigue criterion which can yield satisfactory results for non-proportional loading is then applied to predict fatigue damage. Suitable counting method and damage rule were used to calculate the fatigue life of random loading caused by rough surface. The life analysis considering real rough surface of wheel bearing raceway is in good agreement with the experimental results.

  • The turbine industry demands a reliable design with affordable cost. As technological advances begin to support turbines of huge sizes, and the increasing importance of wind turbines from day to day make design safety conditions more important. Wind turbines are exposed to environmental conditions that can affect their installation, durability, and operation. International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) 61400-1 design load cases consist of analyses involving wind turbine operating conditions. This design load cases (DLC) is important for determining fatigue loads (i.e., forces and moments) that occur as a result of expected conditions throughout the life of the machine. With the help of FAST (Fatigue, Aerodynamics, Structures, and Turbulence), an open source software, the NREL 5MW land base wind turbine model was used. IEC 61400-1 wind turbine design standard procedures assessed turbine behavior and fatigue damage to the tower base of dynamic loads in different design conditions. Real characteristic wind speed distribution and multi-directional effect specific to the site were taken into consideration. The effect of these conditions on the economic service life of the turbine has been studied.
