  • Comonoid, bi-algebra, and Hopf algebra structures are studied within the universal-algebraic context of entropic varieties. Attention focuses on the behavior of setlike and primitive elements. It is shown that entropic $J{\acute{o}}nsson$-Tarski varieties provide a natural universal-algebraic setting for primitive elements and group quantum couples (generalizations of the group quantum double). Here, the set of primitive elements of a Hopf algebra forms a Lie algebra, and the tensor algebra on any algebra is a bi-algebra. If the tensor algebra is a Hopf algebra, then the underlying $J{\acute{o}}nsson$-Tarski monoid of the generating algebra is cancellative. The problem of determining when the $J{\acute{o}}nsson$-Tarski monoid forms a group is open.

  • The notion of double-framed soft filters of a CI-algebra is introduced, and related properties are investigated. Further characterization of a double-framed soft filter is considered, and conditions for a double-framed soft set to be a double-framed soft filter are provided. Finally a new double-framed soft filter from old one is established.

  • In 2005, Patterson studied lacunary statistical convergence of double sequences of real numbers and, in 2009, Mursaleen introduced notion of lacunary statistical convergence of single sequences in intuitionistic fuzzy normed space. The current work intends to investigate the lacunary statistical convergence of double sequences and some significant conclusions on the algebra of the lacunary statistical limit of double sequences in intuitionistic fuzzy normed space. In addition, we have studied some examples to support the definitions.

  • In this article we introduce the class of I-convergent double sequences of fuzzy real numbers. We have studied different properties like solidness, symmetricity, monotone, sequence algebra etc. We prove that the class of I-convergent double sequences of fuzzy real numbers is a complete metric spaces.

  • Let A be a Hopf algebra with a linear form ${\sigma}:k{\rightarrow}A{\otimes}A$, which is convolution invertible, such that ${\sigma}_{21}({\Delta}{\otimes}id){\tau}({\sigma}(1))={\sigma}_{32}(id{\otimes}{\Delta}){\tau}({\sigma}(1))$. We define Hopf algebras, ($A_{\sigma}$, m, u, ${\Delta}_{\sigma}$, ${\varepsilon}$, $S_{\sigma}$). If B and C are opposite skew copaired Hopf algebras and $A=B{\otimes}_kC$ then we find Hopf algebras, ($A_{[{\sigma}]}$, $m_B{\otimes}m_C$, $u_B{\otimes}u_C$, ${\Delta}_{[{\sigma}]}$, ${\varepsilon}B{\otimes}{\varepsilon}_C$, $S_{[{\sigma}]}$). Let H be a finite dimensional commutative Hopf algebra with dual basis $\{h_i\}$ and $\{h_i^*\}$, and let $A=H^{op}{\otimes}H^*$. We show that if we define ${\sigma}:k{\rightarrow}H^{op}{\otimes}H^*$ by ${\sigma}(1)={\sum}h_i{\otimes}h_i^*$ then ($A_{[{\sigma}]}$, $m_A$, $u_A$, ${\Delta}_{[{\sigma}]}$, ${\varepsilon}_A$, $S_{[{\sigma}]}$) is the dual space of Drinfeld double, $D(H)^*$, as Hopf algebra.

  • In this article we introduce the fuzzy real valued double sequence spaces $_2{\ell}^F$ (p) where p = ($p_{nk}$) is a double sequence of bounded strictly positive numbers. We study their different properties like completeness, solidness, symmetricity, convergence free etc. We prove some inclusion results also.

  • Let A be a Banach algebra, we say that A has the strongly double limit property (SDLP) if for each bounded net $(a_\alpha)$ in A and each bounded net $(a^{\ast}\;_\beta)\;in\;A^{\ast},\;lim_\alpha\;lim_\beta=lim_\beta\;lim_\alpha$ whenever both iterated limits exist. In this paper among other results we show that if A has the SDLP and $A^{\ast\ast}$ is (n - 2)-weakly amenable, then A is n-weakly amenable. In particular, it is shown that if $A^{\ast\ast}$ is weakly amenable and A has the SDLP, then A is weakly amenable.

  • The objective of this paper is to study De Morgan's perspective on teaching and learning complex numbers. De Morgan's didactical approaches reflect the process of development of his thoughts about algebra from universal arithmetic, symbolic algebra to meaning algebra. De Morgan develop his perspective on algebra by justifying and explaining complex numbers. This implies that teaching and learning complex numbers is a catalyst for mathematical development of De Morgan.

  • In this paper, we discuss about De Morgan's view on the development of algebra according to following distinctions: arithmetic, universal arithmetic, symbolic algebra, significant algebra. De Morgan thought that the differences between arithmetic and universal arithmetic lie in the usage of letters and the immediate performance of computation. In his viewpoint, universal arithmetic is a transitional phase, in which absurd phenomena occur, from arithmetic to algebra and these absurd phenomena call for algebra. The feature of De Morgan's view on the development of algebra is that symbolic calculus which consist of symbol system without symbol's meaning is acquired, then as extended meanings are furnished to symbols, symbolic calculus become logical so significant calculus is developed. For example, Single algebra is developed, as an extended meaning is furnished to a symbol -1, and double algebra is developed, as an extended meaning is furnished to a symbol $\sqrt{-1}$. According to De Morgan, a symbol system is derived from the incompleteness of a prior symbol system.
