  • This study is about division and right multiplication in matrices. The discussion of the properties of multiplication and division is examined. Some results between multiplication based on the row-column relationship and division based on the same relationship are discussed. The commonalities of these results between the processes are emphasized. Examples of unrealized properties are given. The algebraic properties of the newly defined right product and division are clarified in matrices. The properties of the known multiplication operation and new situations between right multiplication and division are investigated. Some results are declared between the transpositions of matrices and the obtained rules of operations. New results are discussed belong the equations ${\underleftarrow{XA}}=B$ and ${\underleftarrow{AX}}=B$. New ideas are proposed for solving these equations. The contribution The contribution is explained the equation $AB={\underleftarrow{BA}}$ to division operation. Many new properties, lemmas and theorems are presented on this subject.

  • Using the idea of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy set, we study the notion of generalized intuitionistic fuzzy matrices as a generalization of fuzzy matrices, We show that some properties of a square generalized intuitionistic fuzzy matrix such as reflexivity, transitivity and circularity are carried over to the adjoint generalized intuitionistic fuzzy matrix.

  • The level-m scaled circulant factor matrix over the complex number field is introduced. Its diagonalization and spectral decomposition and representation are discussed. An explicit formula for the entries of the inverse of a level-m scaled circulant factor matrix is presented. Finally, an algorithm for finding the inverse of such matrices over the quaternion division algebra is given.

  • In this paper we review the typical Toeplitz matrices and block circulant matrices, and propose the a circulant Hadamard matrix which is consisted of +1 and -1, but its structure is different from typical Hadamard matrix. The proposed circulant Hadamard matrix decreases computational complexities to $Nlog_2N$ additions through high speed algorithm compare to original one. This matrix is able to be applied to Massive MIMO channel estimation, FIR filter design, amd signal processing.

  • In order to investigate how the microstructure of fuel/matrix-interaction (FMI) layers change during irradiation, different U-7Mo dispersion fuel plates have been irradiated to high fission density and then characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Specifially, samples from irradiated U-7Mo dispersion fuel elements with pure Al, Al-2Si and AA4043 (~4.5 wt.%Si) matrices were SEM characterized using polished samples and samples that were prepared with a focused ion beam (FIB). Features not observable for the polished samples could be captured in SEM images taken of the FIB samples. For the Al matrix sample, a relatively large FMI layer develops, with enrichment of Xe at the FMI layer/Al matrix interface and evidence of debonding. Overall, a significant penetration of Si from the FMI layer into the U-7Mo fuel was observed for samples with Si in the Al matrix, which resulted in a change of the size (larger) and shape (round) of the fission gas bubbles. Additionally, solid fission product phases were observed to nucleate and grow within these bubbles. These changes in the localized regions of the microstructure of the U-7Mo may contribute to changes observed in the macroscopic swelling of fuel plates with Al-Si matrices.

  • In this paper, we construct two families $C^*_m$ and ${\~{C}}^*_m$ of ternary ($2^m$, $3^m$, $2^{m-1}$ ) and ($2^m$, $3^{m+1}$, $2^{m-1}$ ) codes, for m = 1, 2, 3, ${\cdots}$, derived from the corresponding families of modified ternary Jacket matrices. These codes are close to the Plotkin bound and have a very easy decoding procedure.

  • Objective: Intramuscular fat is one of the meat quality traits that is considered in the selection strategies for Hanwoo (Korean cattle). Different methods are used to estimate the breeding value of selection candidates. In the present work we focused on accuracy of different genotype relationship matrices as described by forni and pedigree based relationship matrix. Methods: The data set included a total of 778 animals that were genotyped for BovineSNP50 BeadChip. Among these 778 animals, 72 animals were sires for 706 reference animals and were used as a validation dataset. Single trait animal model (best linear unbiased prediction and genomic best linear unbiased prediction) was used to estimate the breeding values from genomic and pedigree information. Results: The diagonal elements for the pedigree based coefficients were slightly higher for the genomic relationship matrices (GRM) based coefficients while off diagonal elements were considerably low for GRM based coefficients. The accuracy of breeding value for the pedigree based relationship matrix (A) was 13% while for GRM (GOF, G05, and Yang) it was 0.37, 0.45, and 0.38, respectively. Conclusion: Accuracy of GRM was 1.5 times higher than A in this study. Therefore, genomic information will be more beneficial than pedigree information in the Hanwoo breeding program.

  • Tamsulosin has been frequently used for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia. To avoid dose-dependent side effects of tamsulosin upon oral administration, the development of sustained-release delivery system is required, that can maintain therapeutic drug levels for a longer period of time. The aim of this study was therefore to formulate sustained-release tamsulosin matrix tablets and assess their formulation variables. We designed enteric coated sustained-release tamsulosin matrices to fulfill above statement. Aqueous microchannels in the enteric film need to be formed in order to obtain tamsulosin release even in an acidic environment such as gastric region. In the sustained-release tamsulosin matrix, low viscosity hydroxypropylmethylcellulose was used as a rate controller. Povidone K30 was also added to the matrices to facilitate water uptake so that a decrease in the release rate of tamsulosin as time elapses was prevented, possibly leading to pseudo zero-order release of the drug. The matrices were enteric-coated with hydroxypropylmethylcellulose phthalate (HPMCP), along with povidone K30 as an aqueous microchannel former. With the aqueous microchannels formed within the enteric film, tamsulosin could be released in an acidic condition. The release of tamsulosin decreased with increasing thickness of HPMCP membrane while the release rates of tamsulosin from those having different HPMCP thickness in pH 7.2 aqueous media were not considerably different, indicating that the enteric film was promptly dissolved at pH 7.2. These results clearly suggest that the sustained-release oral delivery system for tamsulosin could be designed with satisfying drug release profile approved by the KFDA.

  • In this paper, multiple object tracking system in a known environment is proposed. It extracts moving areas shaped on objects in video sequences and detects racks of moving objects. Color invariant co-occurrence matrices are exploited to extract the plausible object blocks and the correspondences between adjacent video frames. The measures of class separability derived from the features of co-occurrence matrices are used to improve the performance of tracking. The experimented results are presented.
