  • The purpose of this paper is to seek the dwelling conditions for comfortable life like urban apartment with agriculture in farming area. In order to do above things, we divide types of people who is planning to 'return farm' and need to heavily research and analyze current status of use for farm house's each spaces include outside spaces. so this paper aimed that at first, divide types of farmhouse following agriculture condition for people who is living in rural and survey the present condition and problems by analyzing of present status of space use and draw the improvement plans for those. after then, finally make a architectural basic data for Rural houses plan. For the future, the main purpose of this paper is that make architectural provision possible by researching types and size of storage following sort and size of farm.

  • In this paper, a novel parallel Viterbi decoding scheme is proposed to decrease the decoding latency and power consumption for the software-defined radio (SDR) system. It implements a divide-and-conquer approach by first dividing a block into a series of subblocks, then performing independent Viterbi decoding for each subsequence, and finally merging the surviving subpaths into the final path. Moreover, a network-on-chip-based SDR platform is used to evaluate the performance of the proposed parallel Viterbi decoding scheme. The experiment results show that our scheme can speed up the Viterbi decoding process without increasing the BER, and it performs better than the current state-of-the-art methods.

  • A frequency synthesizer of 10 GHz $\sim$ 11 GHz for FMCW radar is designed and implemented by the form of indirect frequency synthesizer of a single loop structure. The synthesizer uses a high speed digital PLL chip. It is difficult to divide directly by using a program counter of PLL chip because the output frequency of VCO is 10 GHz $\sim$ 11 GHz, so we lower the frequency to 625 MHz $\sim$ 687.5 MHz by using a prescaler, and then divide the frequency by the program counter. The output frequency sweep of VCO from 10 GHz to 11 GHz is measured.

  • This research aims at building the conceptual model and proposing concrete ways for raising the ICT productivity of the under-served groups. This research consists of four areas: 1) review and discussion of studies on digital divide issues, 2) theoretical reasoning of the relationship between informatization and productivity, 3) analysis of the present status of information gap between the under-served groups and the general public in Korea, finally 4) proposing the directions of policy making and various concrete ways for reducing information gap and raising the ICT productivity of the under-served groups through facilitating digital inclusion. The model of enhancing the ICT productivity of the under-served groups was theoretically reasoned to include three dimensions which are named as Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness. The results of this research can be utilized for making policies of not only enlarging the digital opportunity of people in the under-served groups but also raising their income level and quality of life.

  • When we want to find out the regulatory relationships between genes from gene expression data, dimensionality is one of the big problem. In general, the size of search space in modeling the regulatory relationships grows in O(n$^2$) while the number of genes is increasing. However, hopefully it can be reduced to O(kn) with selected k by applying divide and conquer heuristics which depend on some assumptions about genetic network. In this paper, we approach the modeling problem in divide-and-conquer manner. We applied clustering to make the problem into small sub-problems, then hierarchical model process is applied to those small sub-problems.

  • In this paper, a new DC ground fault detection system is proposed, which is suitable for photovoltaic power generation systems. The proposed ground fault systems is superposition of divide resistance and detection circuit. The proposed system has the characteristics of a simplified structure, reduced cost and volume compared with those of the conventional ground fault system for DC source. The operation principle of the proposed systems is described and verified by simulation result.

  • This research is about developing an efficient solution procedure for the vehicle routing problem under varying vehicle moving speeds for hour-based time interval. Different moving speeds for every hour is too difficult condition to solve for this type of combinatorial optimization problem. A methodology to divide the 12 hour based time interval offered by government into 5 different time intervals and then divide delivery area into 12 small divisions first and then re-organizing them into 5 groups. Then vehicle moving speeds are no longer varying in each of the 5 divisions. Therefore, a typical TSP solution procedure may be applied to find the shortest path for all 5 divisions and then connect the local shortest paths to form a delivery path for whole area. Developed solution procedures are explained in detail with 60 points example.

  • The purpose for this study shows general planning direction about showroom which can enhance sales promotion, and corporate image and through buyer negotiation increasing export. We can divide showroom as promotional showroom and institutional showroom as a whole. The results of this research can be summarized as follows : There is no uniformed design plan of display for the P.R of showroom. And they need independent business space. But, there is no attractive factors to fascinate their consumer and thus there is no sufficient service facility, Also, some more effective planning is needed to support their supervisors. I wish to suggest some planning direction on the basis of research problems : We need to divide four space- that is entrance space, display space management space, service space-to allocative effectively space for the purpose of charging product. P.R. We should set up uniformed design policy which can contribute P.R.-that is corporate color, unform . logotype, sign, pamphlet etc.

  • Voronoi diagram of a set of geometric entities on a plane such as points, line segments, or arcs is a collection of Voronoi polygons associated with each entity, where Voronoi polygon of an entity is a locus of point which is closer to the associated entity than any other entity. Voronoi diagram is one of the most fundamental geometrical construct and well-known for its theoretical elegance and the wealth of applications. Various geometric problems can be solved with the aid of Voronoi diagram. For example, the maximum tool diameter of a milling cutter for rough cutting in a pocket can be easily found, and the pocketing tool path can be efficiently generated from Voronoi diagram. In PCB design, the design rule checking can be easily done via Voronoi diagram, too. This paper discusses an algorithm to construct Voronoi diagram of a simple polygon which consists of simple curves such as line segments as well as arcs in a plane with O(nlogn) time complexity by employing the divide and conquer scheme.
