This thesis has suggested a method of applying the Maximum Principle of Pontryagin to the optimal control of distributive electrical networks. In general, electrical networks consist of branches, nodes, sources and loads. The effective values of steady state currents and voltages are independent of time but only expressed as the functions of position. Moreover, most of the node voltages and branch currents are not predetermined, that is, initially unknown, and their inherent loop characteristics satisfy only Kirchhoff's current and voltage laws. The Maximum Principle, however, needs the initial fixed values of all state variables for its standand way of application. In spite of this inconsistency this thesis has undertaken to suggest a new approach to the successful solution of the above mentioned networks by introducing scaling factors and a state variable change technique which transform the boundary-value unknown problem into the boundary-value partially fixed and partially free problem. For the examples of applying the method suggested, the control problems for minimizing copper quantity in a distribution line have been solved with voltage drop constraint imposed on. In the case of uniform load distribution it has been shown that the optimal wire diameter of the distribution line is reciprocally proportional to the root of distance. For the same load pattern as above the wire diameter giving the minimum copper loss in the distribution line has been shown to be reciprocally proportional to distance.
This study examined how the distributive principles(DP) works in our elementary school textbooks and work books to figure out the implications for developing the elementary mathematics curriculum and textbooks. For this purpose, Chinese and Japanese elementary textbooks were reviewed and five criteria for the analysis of Korean textbooks and workbooks were prepared by the review. The analysis showed that Korean textbooks and work books are inefficient to handle DP in many ways. Based on these findings, this study suggested that the DP should be codified into the curriculum and explicitly dealt with in elementary math textbooks.
The present study was designed to assess the effect of relationship on children's distributive justice reasoning. 259 kindergarten, second-grade, and fifth-grade children were asked to allocate 9,000 Won to 3 characters under three different relationship conditions (strangers, peers, and siblings), provide rationales for those allocations, and rate the fairness of 4 different patterns of allocation. Older children were sensitive to relationship information such as allocation of more money to productive rather than to needy or older strangers, more to needy friends than to productive or older friends, and more to older than to a productive sibling. However, young children relied on only one principle, equality, across the relationship conditions. Kindergartners viewed allocations based on age entitlement as fairer than older children did, whereas both groups of older children rewarded individuals based on equality in stranger, equality and need in peer, and equality and equity in sibling relationships.
This paper analyses from the perspective of distributive justice the legal mechanisms for international allocation of orbital slots, which are of co-owned nature and thereby limited natural resources in outer space. The allocative function is delegated to the International Telecommunication Union. The Radio Regulation, amongst such other legal instruments as the Constitution and Convention, by which the ITU and contracting States thereof abides, dictates how the orbital positions are distributed. Thus, the RR is thoroughly reviewed in the essay. The mechanisms are in a broad sense categorized into two systems: 'a posteriori system' where the 'first come, first served' principle prevails; and 'a priori system' designed to foster the utilisation of the slots by those who lack space resources and are, in especial, likely to be marginalised under the former system. The argument proceeds on the premise that a posteriori system places the under-resourced States in unfavourable positions in the securement of the slots. In contrast with this notion, seven factors were instantiated for an assertion that the degradation of the distributive justice derived from the 'first come, first served' rule, which lays the foundation for the system, could be either mitigated or counterbalanced by the alleged exceptions to the rule. However, the author of this essay argues for counterevidences against the factors and thereby demonstrating that the principle still remains as an overwhelming doctrine, posing a threat to the pursuit of fair allocation. The elements he set forth are as in the following: 1) that the 'first come, first served' principle only applies to assignments capable of causing harmful interferences; 2) the interoperability of the principle with the 'rule of conformity' with the all the ITU instruments; 3) the viability of alternative registrations, as an exception of the application of the principle, on the condition of provisional and informational purposes; 4) another reference that matters in deciding the priority: the types of services in the TFA; 5) the Rule of Procedure H40 proclaiming a ban on taking advantage of coming first to the Register; 6) the technical factors and equity-oriented norms under international and municipal laws along with; 7) the changes of 'basic characteristics' of registered assignments. The second half of this essay illustrates by examining the relevant Annexes to the Regulation that the planned allocation, i.e., a priori system, bear the structured flaws that hinder the fulfillment of the original purpose of the system. The Broadcasting and Fixed Satellite Systems are the reviewed Plans in which the 'first come, first served' principle re-emerges in the end as a determining factor to grant the 'right to international recognition' to administrations including those who has not the allotted portions in the Plan.
The unit of multiplication in the mathematics textbook for third graders deals with two-digit number multiplied by one-digit number. Students tend to perform multiplication without necessarily understanding the principle behind the calculation. Against this background, we designed the unit in a way for students to explore the principle of multiplication with cuisenaire rods and array models. The results of this study showed that most students were able to represent the process of multiplication with both cuisenaire rods and array models and to connect such a process with multiplicative expressions. More importantly, the associative property of multiplication and the distributive property of multiplication over addition were meaningfully used in the process of writing expressions. To be sure, some students at first had difficulties in representing the process of multiplication but overcame such difficulties through the whole-class discussion. This study is expected to suggest implications for how to teach multiplication on the basis of the properties of the operation with appropriate instructional tools.

Since the right of trademark, despite of being effective only in registered nations on the principle of territorialism, is unified on the cyber space of internet without domestic barrier or local limitation which make it easier to conduct the distribution of information rapidly through the address-internet domain name, those are very important that the systematic dispute-solving plan on problems such as decision of its Act and international jurisdiction to be established, in an effort to prevent the newly emerging dispute instances such as trademark infringement and improper competitiveness. In addition, it is natural that on the threshold of the electronic commerce age which formed with an unified area without the worldwide specific regulation, each country including us makes haste with the enactment of "electronic commerce Act" aiming at coming into force in 1999, in keeping with getting through "non-tariff law on electronic commerce" by U. S. parliament on May, 1998. In view of the properties of electronic commerce transactions through internet, there are the large curtailment of distributive channel, surmounting of restrictions on transaction area, space and time and the easy feedback with consumer and the cheap-required capital, from which the problems may arise - registration of trademark, the trademark infringement of domain name and the protection of prestigious trademark. Therefore, it is necessary to take the counter-measure, with a view of reviewing the infringement of trademark and domain name and the instances of each national precedent and to preventing the disputes. The improvement of the persistent system should be needed to propel the harmonious protection of those holding trademark right's credit and demanders' expectant profit by way of the righteous use of trademark.
The present study focuses on ethical leader ship of people who are member of organization. The survey was conducted to 209 spectators who participated in the corporate organization. Collected data were analyzed through the statistical and analysis program SPSS. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted for analyzing the influence of ethical work climates on ethical leader ship and organizational citizenship Behavior. The results are below. First, the result of analyzing the relationship between ethical work climates and Ethical leader ship shows that principle have a positive impact on distributive justice, procedural justice, transparency, contribution, integrity and benevolence have a positive impact on procedural justice, contribution, integrity. Second, the result of analyzing the relationship between ethical leader ship and organizational citizenship behavior shows that transparency has a positive impact on conscientiousness, and integrity has a positive impact on sportsman ship. We discuss the implications of the results for the theory and the future research on the ethical leader ship.
This review was performed to outline the food ethics to the professionals in the field of food science and industries. Food ethics is the ethics or ethical consideration concerning food; while, the keywords of food ethics are a life, happiness and the wisdom. The ultimate goal as well as the first principle of food ethics is a sustainable living of human race. In order to reach the goal a coexistence of humans and nature, coexistence of humans and humans, and the fulfillment of essential requirements of a food are needed. The needs yield six categorical imperatives such as a respect for life, preservation of nature, distributive justice without deception or fakes, prior consideration of consumer, moderation and balance neither overs nor shorts, and the assurance of safety. The core principles corresponding to the categorical imperatives include a respect for life, environmental preservation, justice, priority of consumer, dynamic equilibrium, and the priority of safety. The core principles approach is a simple, clear, and practical method in solving ethical issues. The code of food ethics is also based on the core principles.

The algorithm is a chain of mechanical procedures, capable of solving a problem. In modern mathematics educations, the teaching algorithm is performing an important role, even though contracted than in the past. The conspicuous characteristic of current elementary mathematics textbook's manner of manipulating multiplication algorithm is exceeding converge to 'standard algorithm.' But there are many algorithm other than standard algorithm in calculating multiplication, and this diversity is important with respect to didactical dimension. In this thesis, we have reconstructed the experimental learning and teaching plan of multiplication algorithm unit by making the best use of diversity of multiplication algorithm. It's core contents are as follows. Firstly, It handled various modified algorithms in addition to standard algorithm. Secondly, It did not order children to use standard algorithm exclusively, but encouraged children to select algorithm according to his interest. As stated above, we have performed teaching experiment which is ruled by new lesson design and analysed the effects of teaching experiment. Through this study, we obtained the following results and suggestions. Firstly, the experimental learning and teaching plan was effective on understanding of the place-value principle and the distributive law. The experimental group which was learned through various modified algorithm in addition to standard algorithm displayed higher degree of understanding than the control group. Secondly, as for computational ability, the experimental group did not show better achievement than the control group. It's cause is, in my guess, that we taught the children the various modified algorithm and allowed the children to select a algorithm by preference. The experimental group was more interested in diversity of algorithm and it's application itself than correct computation. Thirdly, the lattice method was not adopted in the majority of present mathematics school textbooks, but ranked high in the children's preference. I suggest that the mathematics school textbooks which will be developed henceforth should accept the lattice method.
Since 2016, public and political interest on basic income has been increased beyond academic interest. The recent debate on basic income has expanded on issues regarding to the concrete implementation of basic income moving further than the debate on conception of the basic income in the abstract level. This study examines major critiques of basic income which was raised from social policy area and makes a counter-argument on these critiques. Major points summarized as follows. First, the problem of jobs and social insurance exclusion is not serious enough to call for basic income. Second, existing social security systems will be crowded out by excessive financial burden if basic income is introduced. Third, policies to cultivate citizens' capacities to cope with a technological change should be given priority over basic income. This study disputes these critiques by counter arguing four points. First, it is necessary to reconstruct welfare state based on basic income, given the labor market changes, such as long-term trend of employment change, newly emerging employment of platform companies, and inconsistency of platform labor and social insurance. Second, hypothesis of crowding-out effect on social security system is just a criticism that can be applied to the basic income initiative of the right-wing. Also, it is unable to find a logical basis or evidence of this hypothesis from the historical process of welfare state development or previous studies. Third, it is necessary to discuss how to reconfigure existing social security system and basic income which are complementary to each other and also have consistency with labor market as a configuration, not as a matter of choosing between basic income and social security system. Fourth, de-laborization does not mean a refusal to labor but a free choice, and the basic principle of social security is not needs but right. In conclusion, in order to develop more productive debate on basic income, it requires more sophisticated discussion and criticism from the point of view of the distributive justice; the debate on the sustainability of social insurance-centered welfare states; and debates on the political realization of basic income.
