In this paper we find some properties of distinguished prime submodules of modules and prove theorems about the dimension of modules.

In this note all are commutative rings with identity and all modules are unital. Let R be a ring. An R-module M is called a multiplication module if for every submodule N of M there esists an ideal I of R such that N = IM. Clearly the ring R is a multiplication module as a module over itself. Also, it is well known that invertible and more generally profective ideals of R are multiplication R-modules (see [11, Theorem 1]).

Characterizations of closed subgroups in abelian groups have been generalized to modules in essentially dierent ways; they are in general inequivalent. Here we consider the relations between these generalizations over commutative rings, and we characterize the commutative rings over which they coincide. These are exactly the commutative noetherian distributive rings. We also give a characterization of c-injective modules over commutative noetherian distributive rings. For a noetherian distributive ring R, we prove that, (1) direct product of simple R-modules is c-injective; (2) an R-module D is c-injective if and only if it is isomorphic to a direct summand of a direct product of simple R-modules and injective R-modules.

For $M{\in}R-Mod$, $N{\subseteq}M$ and $L{\in}{\sigma}[M]$ we consider the product $N_ML={\sum}_{f{\in}Hom_R(M,L)}\;f(N)$. A module $N{\in}{\sigma}[M]$ is called an M-multiplication module if for every submodule L of N, there exists a submodule I of M such that $L=I_MN$. We extend some important results given for multiplication modules to M-multiplication modules. As applications we obtain some new results when M is a semiprime Goldie module. In particular we prove that M is a semiprime Goldie module with an essential socle and $N{\in}{\sigma}[M]$ is an M-multiplication module, then N is cyclic, distributive and semisimple module. To prove these results we have had to develop new methods.

사이버 공격에 대한 새로운 보안시스템의 성능을 검증하기 위해서는 실 네트워크상에서의 검증이 필요하다. 하지만 현실적으로 대규모 분산 네트워크 환경에서의 검증은 어렵다. 이에 성능 검증을 위해 대규모 가상 네트워크 시뮬레이션 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 대규모 네트워크를 표현할 수 있고, 프로세스 기반 사건 중심 시뮬레이션 시스템인 SSFNet을 사용하였다. 하지만 대규모 분산 네트워크상에서 보안시스템의 시뮬레이션을 SSFNet에서 수행할 수가 없다. 확장된 SSFNet내에는 IDS(Intrusion Detection System)의 보안모듈이 구성요소로 추가되었다. 추가적으로 IDS는 Snort의 기능을 모델링하여 구현하였다. 네트워크 시뮬레이션의 패킷을 쉽게 조작할 수 있도록 자바언어를 사용하여 패킷조작기를 개발하였다. 최종적으로 개발된 IDS와 패킷 조작기를 기능 검증을 위해 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 확장된 SSFNet은 향후 대규모 네트워크의 보안 시스템 시뮬레이터로 사용할 수 있다.

본 논문은 광대역 ISDN에서 사용될 수 있는 멸티미디어 통신단말의 구조를 제안하였다. 제안한 구조는 ITU-T, Digital Audio-Visual Council(DAVIC), A TM Forum 등의 국제, 사설 표준기구에서 권고하고 있는 멀티미디어단말 및 서비스를 분석한 결과이며, 기존 통신단말과의 연동을 보장하며, 현재 및 미래의 멀티미디어 응용서비스에 유연하게 대처할 수 있는 구조를 갖도록 하였다. 제안한 구조에 따라 설계된 서비스 통합형 멀티미디어 통선단말은 범용 PC에 탑재되는 멸티미디어 처리보드와 ATM 접속보드로 나누어 구현하였다. 구현된 서비스 통합형 멸티미디어 통신단말은 검색, 분배형 통신서비스와 대화형 통신서비스를 동시에 제공하는 것이 가능하며, 이에 따르는 서비스 별의 기능시험을 수행하였다.
