Even in the moderately concentrated anionic surfactant system, some special encapsulation method can shield the papain enzyme from proteolytic attacks. The stabilization of enzyme has been a major issue for successful therapies. In this study, we first stabilized an enzyme, papain in the microcapsules by using polyols, polyethyleneglycol (PEG), poly-propyleneglycol (PPG), and PEG-PPG-PEG block copolymer. In the analysis of EDS and CLSM, it was demonstrated that polyols are effectively located in the interface of papain and polymer. Polyols located in the interface had an ability to buffer the external triggers by hydrophobic partitioning, preventing consequently the catalytic activity of papain in the micro-capsules. Second. we introduced multi-layer capsulation methods containing ion complex. Such a moderately concentrated anionic surfactant system as wash-off cleansers, surfactants and waters can cause instability of entrapped enzymes. Surfactants and water in our final products swell the surface of enzyme capsules and penetrate into the core so easily that we can not achieve the effect of enzyme, papain. In this case, the ion complex multi-layer capsule composed of sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and polyquaternium-6 could effectively prevent water from penetration into the core enzyme, followed by in vivo test, and evaluate the stratum corneum (SC) turn-over speed.
We have examined the applicability of f-k analysis to the GPR direct wave measurement for water content to characterize vadose zone condition. When the vadose zone consists of a dry surface layer over wet substratum, we obtained f-k spectra where most of the energy is bounded by the air and dry soil velocities. In this case, dry soil velocity was successfully estimated by using high frequency data. On the other hands, when wet soil overlies dry substratum, the f-k spectra show a contrasting response where most of the energy travels with the velocity bounded by dry and wet soil velocities. In this case, the radar waves are trapped and guided within wet soil layer, exhibiting velocity dispersion. By adopting modal propagation theory, we could formulae a simple inversion code to find two layer's dielectric constants as well as layer thickness. By inverting the velocity dispersion curve obtained from f-k spectra of synthetic modeling data, we could obtain good estimates of dielectric constants of each layer as well as first layer thickness. Moreover, we could obtain more accurate results by including the higher mode data. We expect this method will be useful to get the quantitative property of real subsurface when the field condition is similar.

The concerns of the toxicity and health hazard of lead in solders have demanded the research to find suitable lead-free solder alloys. It was discussed that effect of the intermetallic formation and structure on the reliability of solder joints. In this study, lead-free solder alloys with compositions of Sn/3.5Ag/0.75Cu, Sn/2.0Ag/0.5Cu/2.0Bi were applied to the 48 $\mu$BGA packages. Also, the lead-free solder alloys compared with eutectic Sn/37Pb solder using shear test under various aging temperature. Common $\mu$BGA with solder components was aged at $130^{\circ}C$, $150^{\circ}C$ and $170^{\circ}C$. And the each temperature applied to 300, 600 and 900 hours. The thickness of the intermetallics was measured for each condition and the activation energy for their growth was computed. The fracture surfaces were analyzed using SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) with EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy). These results for reliability of lead-free interconnections are discussed.

CuInGaSe(CIGS) mixed-source was prepared by hydride vapor phase epitaxy (HVPE). Each metal was mixed in regular ratio and soaked at $1090^{\circ}C$ for 90 minutes in nitrogen atmosphere. After making the mixed-source to powder state, the pellet was made by the powder. The diameter of pellet is 10 mm. The CIGS thin film was deposited on soda lime glass evaporated Mo layer bye-beam evaporator. To confirm the crystallization, we measured X-ray diffraction (XRD). High intensity X-ray peaks diffracted from (112), (204)/(220), (116)/(312) and (400) of CIGS thin film and from (110) of Mo were confirmed by XRD measurement.

Chalcopyrite material $CuInSe_2$ (CIS) is known to be a very prominent absorber layer for high efficiency thin film solar cells. Current interest in the photovoltaic industry is to identify and develop more suitable materials and processes for the fabrication of efficient and cost-effective solar cells. Various processes have been being tried for making a low cost CIS absorber layer, this study obtained the CIS nanoparticles using commercial powder of 6 mm pieces for low cost CIS absorber layer by high frequency ball milling and cryogenic milling. And the CIS absorber layer was prepared by paste coating using milled-CIS nanoparticles in glove box under inert atmosphere. The chalcopyrite $CuInSe_2$ thin films were successfully made after selenization at the substrate temperature of $550^{\circ}C$ in 30 min, CIS solar cell of Al/ZnO/CdS/CIS/Mo structure prepared under various deposition process such as evaporation, sputtering and chemical vapor deposition respectively. Finally, we achieved CIS nanoparticles solar cell of electric efficient 1.74 % of Voc 29 mV, Jsc 35 $mA/cm^2$ FF 17.2 %. The CIS nanoparticles-based absorber layers were characterized by using EDS, XRD and HRSEM.
films of gold nanoparticles were formed on indium tin oxide (ITO) by an electrodeposition method from an aminosilicate stabilized gold colloid solution. The thin films were examined by cyclic voltammetry (CV), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-visible, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDXS). The surface coverage of gold nanoparticles on the thin film was estimated to 1.2 nanomole/cm2. An anthraquinone-2, 6-disulfonic acid, disodium salt (AQDS) self-assembled layer was generated by immersing gold thin film into 1mM of AQDS in 0.1M HClO4 solution for over 20 hours. As a result, a new absorbance peak from the multi-layers (AQDS/thin film of gold /ITO) was obtained about at 690 nm. Also, the surface plasmon absorption of multi-layers was measured by UV-Visible spectrometer along with chronoamperometry by applying the various potentials from +0.5V to -0.5V. The maximum surface plasmon absorption band at 550 nm was decreased by applying negative potentials. The change of absorbance was correlated with the surface coverage of the AQDS indicating the pseudo-capacity surface state of the AQDS layer was coupled to the energy level of the plasmonband by applied negative potentials.
Epoxy composites with concentrations of 5-70 wt% of silica particles were prepared in order to improve mechanical property and poor thermal stability. The mechanical and thermal properties were investigated and compared to the corresponding properties of neat epoxy composite. Furthermore, the effects of silane compound treatment on silica particles were observed by the experimental results of the tensile strength, glass transition temperature, and thermal stability of epoxy composite. Tensile strength of epoxy composites was measured by universal testing machine (UTM) and after that, the structure and morphology analysis of epoxy nanocomposites were analyzed by field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The increased solid content of CA0030 particle improved the tensile strength of epoxy/ modified composites to give 30-50 MPa. The thermal expansion coefficients (CTE) of neat epoxy resin and epoxy/silica composites measured with a thermomechanical analyzer (TMA) showed that the incorporation of silica particles was helpful to reduce the CTE of neat epoxy resin.
This study was performed to assess the efficacy of high voltage pulsed galvanic current for the healing of wounds in rabbits. Skin wounds were created laterally on the flank of 12 domestic rabbits($3{\times}3cm$). The wounds of each group were treated with an intensity of 170 V at a frequency of 70 pulses per second, which was applied for 30 minutes a day for 10 days. The experimental groups were randomly assigned to either EXP I (n=3), EXP II(n=3), EXP III(n=3) or control(n=3). Each group was stimulated under the following conditions : 1) EXP I (Negative polarity), 2) EXP II (Change in polarity, negative electrode stimulation during the first 3 days and then positive electrode stimulation from 4 to 10 days), 3) EXP III(Positive polarity), 4) control(No stimulation). An active electrode was placed over the wound and a dispersive electrode on the buttock. The rate of wound closure was compared with the original wound size, evaluated by a tracing film in each measurement period. Finally, on the wound in each group, skin tissue was excised for histological evaluation after treatment for 10 days. The results obtained are as follows : 1) It was found that the control group did not show a complete remodeling of epitherial layer and had a chronic inflammatory response. Judging from the irregularity of intercellular space and the loose alignment of connective tissue, these findings show that wound healing was delayed. 2) EXP I showed a significant bactericidal effect, but a moderate response of vasodilation. The rate of wound closure was slower when compared with EXP II, III. 3) EXP II showed a complete remodeling of epitherial layer and a positive repair of connective tissue. Its rate of wound closure was best when compared with the others. 4) EXP III had a slower rate of wound closure than EXP II, but judging from the greater proliferation of collagen fibers and the dense alignment of connective tissue, this positive electrode was very effective in the formation of neo - connective tissue.
The chalcopyrite $Cu(In_xGa_{(1-x)})Se_2$ (CIGS) is considered to be one of the effective light-absorbing materials for thin film photovoltaic solar cells. We describe the electrodeposition of CIGS thin films in ambient laboratory conditions, and suggest the electrochemical conditions to prepare stoichiometric CIGS thin films of Ga/(In + Ga) = 0.3. In acidic solutions containing $Cu^{2+}$, $In^{3+}$, $Ga^{3+}$ and $Se^{4+}$ ions, the CIGS films of different Cu/In/Ga/Se chemical compositions were electrodeposited onto Mo/Glass substrate. The structure, morphology and chemical composition of electrodeposited CIGS films were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), respectively.

In this paper, a new broadband phase shifter to adjust the slope of dispersive phase characteristic for frequency of transmission network was proposed. The new fundamental network consists of a fixed main line with a length of λ/2 at the center frequency and two double stubs, each with a length of λ/8 at the center frequency, which are open and shorted, respectively, and which are shunted at the edge points of the main line. Characteristic impedances of the main line and two parallel double stubs are adjusted to produce a minimum phase error and to obtain an input and output match at the desired phase shift. Especially, the proposed structure is especially suitable for a broadband phase shifter with large phase shifts more than 90$^{\circ}$, and it is operated in the octave bandwidth. To verify the usefulness of a new broadband phase shifter, each 45$^{\circ}$-, 90$^{\circ}$-, 180$^{\circ}$-bit phase shifter and 3-bit phase shifter(45$^{\circ}$-phase step), which is cascaded in series, operated at the center frequency 3 GHz were designed, fabricated and experimented. The measured results were in very close agreement with the corresponding simulation results over the bandwidth of I/O impedance match and phase error for each phase shift.
