다문화가정 유아의 유치원생활 초기적응과정에 대한 연구 (A Study on Multicultural Family Children' Early Adjustment Process to Daily Life in the Kindergarten)

  • The objective of this study was to examine multicultural family children's adjustment process to kindergarten and differences in their adjustment among time points. For these purpose, we conducted interviews and a questionnaire survey with teachers in charge of 3-5-year-old young children from multicultural families at public and private kindergartens in Gwangju, Jeollanamdo and Daejeon. According to the results of this study, multicultural family children adjusted themselves to kindergarten through four weeks' daily life in the kindergarten. In daily work adjustment, they showed some difficulty in Week 2 but their adjustment improved rapidly in Week 3 and Week 4. Self adjustment and peer adjustment also improved notably in Week 3 and Week 4. In pro-social adjustment, the children showed difficulty in Week 2, improvement in Week 3, and again difficulty in Week 4. These results suggest that, by responding to the teacher's sensitivity and intimacy, young children in multicultural families have a pattern of adjustment similar to that of young children in Korea families.

  • LMS 기반의 온라인 평가를 위해 출제되는 문제들은 교수자가 직접 출제하거나 또는 카테고리별로 나뉘어진 문제은행에서 난이도에 따른 자동 출제 방식을 주로 이용한다. 이중에서 난이도에 따른 자동출제 방식은 평가자들에게 출제되는 문제가 서로 다를수 있기 때문에 무엇보다 객관적이고 효율적인 방법으로 문제의 난이도를 관리하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 문제의 정답률뿐만 아니라 해당 문제를 해결하는데 사용된 소요시간을 같이 고려한 난이도 재조정 알고리즘을 제시한다. 이를 위해 머신러닝의 로지스틱 회귀 분류 알고리즘을 이용하였으며, 학습모델의 예측 확률값을 기반으로 기준 임계값을 설정하여 각 문항별 난이도 재조정에 활용하였다. 그 결과 정답률에만 의존한 문항별 난이도에 많은 변화가 일어남을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 조정된 난이도의 문제를 이용하여 그룹별 평가를 수행한 결과, 정답률 기반의 난이도 문제에 비해서 대부분의 그룹에서 평균 점수가 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • One of the important factors in game design is difficulty adjustment. An appropriate level of difficulty makes users have a sense of challenge and interest. However, the adjustment of difficulty takes a lot of time and effort, because of its ambiguity. To solve the problem, we propose a difficulty control method using a fuzzy theory. In this paper, a simple demonstration is exemplified to verify the effectiveness of our method. Experimental results show that the difficulty of the game changes according to the user's skill.

Psychosocial Adjustment in Korean Colorectal Cancer Survivors

  • Purpose: The increasing survival rate of colorectal cancer demands various nursing interventions and continuous care for patients to adapt to their psychosocial daily lives. The purpose of this study was to identify factors associated with psychosocial adjustment in colorectal cancer survivors. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study with face-to-face interviews was conducted of 156 colorectal cancer survivors after surgery visiting an outpatient cancer clinic at a tertiary hospital in S city, Korea. Posttraumatic growth, health-promoting behavior, length of treatment, difficulty in activities of daily living, and having a stoma were entered into the linear regression model. Results: The strongest factor influencing the level of psychosocial adjustment was health-promoting behavior (${\beta}=.33$, p<.001), followed by difficulty in activities of daily living (${\beta}=-.24$, p=.001), posttraumatic growth (${\beta}=.20$, p=.004), and having a stoma (${\beta}=-.19$, p=.004). Conclusion: Nursing interventions for psychosocial adjustment in colorectal cancer survivors need to include the contents for posttraumatic growth, as well as health-promoting behavior, and activities of daily living.

장애아동 형제의 부담감이 가족적응과 학교적응에 미치는 영향 (Factors Influencing the Adjustment of the Siblings of Handicapped Children in School and in the Family)

  • The factors that affect the adjustment of the siblings of handicapped children were explored in this study. More specifically, how social and demographic variables affect the burdens the handicapped children's siblings experience, and how such burdens affect their adjustment in school and in the family were examined. The participants of this research were 139 students in elementary schools and middle schools, who have one or more handicapped siblings. The participants were recruited through their handicapped siblings who received services from social wet(are facilities in Daejon and Chungchong area. The scales used in this study were the measurement or Burdens for Handicapped children's siblings (Lee, Yoon Hwa, 2002), FACES (Olson et al, 1986). and The Measurement of Children's Adjustment in the School (Lim Jung Soon, 1993). The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, average. standard deviation, T-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple linear regression. 'rho results show that handicapped children's siblings have no difficulty in adjusting in the family if they have a religion, an elderly mother, and a high family income. They have no difficulty in adjusting in the family and in school, as long as they have no or little negative change in family relationship, low psychological burden, and no negative relational change for the handicapped sibling. Father's age and the family income their the only factors that affect their adjustment in school.

학령 초기 아동의 미디어 이용시간과 어머니의 양육스트레스가 학교적응에 미치는 종단적 영향: 집행기능 곤란의 매개효과 (Longitudinal Effects of Media Usage by Early School-age Children and Maternal Parenting Stress on School Adjustment: Mediating Effect of Executive Function Difficulty)

  • This study examined the longitudinal effects of media usage by early school-age children and of maternal parenting stress on children's school adjustment. The study focused on the mediating effect of executive function difficulty. Longitudinal data to examine the hypothetical model were drawn from the eighth (2015) through tenth (2017) waves of the Panel Study of Korean Children (PSKC) collected by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education (KICCE). A total of 581 children (293 boys and 288 girls) and their mothers were included. Confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model, and bootstrapping analysis were applied using SPSS 25.0 and Amos 26.0. The results are as follows. First, no significant correlation was found between early school-age children's media usage and maternal parenting stress. Second, neither media usage by early school-age children nor maternal parenting stress were found to directly affect children's school adjustment. Third, media usage by early school-age children and maternal parenting stress were shown to indirectly affect children's school adjustment via executive function difficulties. In other words, higher levels of media usage by early school-age children and maternal parenting stress during the first grade lead to greater executive function difficulties after a year, which, in turn, lead to a lower level of school adjustment in the third grade. This study indicates the need to develop practical support for the psychological wellbeing of mothers while they are performing their role as a parent and for children in maintaining suitable levels of media usage during early childhood.

  • 웹 기반의 원격 교육에서 평가를 위해 출제되는 문제들은 주로 고정 출제나 무작위 출제 방식 또는 난이도에 따른 자동 출제 방식을 이용하고 있다. 이중에서 난이도에 따른 자동 출제 방식은 학습자들의 평가 결과에 따른 난이도 재조정으로 문제 은행의 문제들에 대한 객관성을 유지하는 것이 중요한 문제이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 난이도에 따른 자동 출제 방식에서 문제은행의 난이도를 재조정함에 있어서 학습자들의 평가 결과와 학습자득의 학습 능력을 함께 고려한 새로운 난이도 재조정 알고리즘을 제시판다 제시된 알고리즘을 구축된 웹기반 학습 시스템에서 기존 알고리즘과 비교 분석한 결과 보다 효율적으로 문제 난이도를 관리할 수 있음을 확인한 수 있었다.

  • 이러닝 문제은행 기반의 출제 시스템에서 평가를 위해 출제되는 문제들은 주로 난이도에 따른 자동 출제 방식을 이용하고 있다. 이러한 방식은 출제 시점의 문제 난이도가 문제 출제에 핵심이기 때문에 무엇보다 객관적이고 효율적인 방법으로 문제의 난이도에 대한 지속적인 관리가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 웹 기반의 학습 시스템에서 보다 효율적인 문제 출제를 위해, 평가 결과를 바탕으로 해당 문제들의 난이도를 동적으로 재조정하는 보다 향상된 알고리즘을 제시한다. 제시된 알고리즘을 구축된 웹기반 학습 시스템에서 기존 알고리즘과 비교 분석해 본 결과 보다 효율적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

시설노인의 적응과정에 대한 근거이론적 접근 : 거부감 다스리기 (A Grounded Theory Approach to the Adjustment Process of the Institutionalized Elderly : The Control of Reluctance)

  • The number of residents in elderly institution has been increasing due to the change of the family support system. This study was focused on understanding the process of adjustment of the institutionalized elderly using the Grounded Theory approach. Method: There were seven participants, 4 men and 3 women living in 3 different elderly facilities. The data was collected through in-depth interviews and participant observation from June 20, 1999 to January 10, 2000 and analyzed by the Strauss and Corbin's analysis method. Result: 125 concepts were found and grouped into 30 sub-categories and then grouped into 13 categories. These categories are , , , , , , , , , , , and , which were synthesized into the process of adjustment. being the core category. The adjustment process of the facility elderly consisted of : 1. expressive phase of 'reluctance' 2. control phase of 'reluctance' 3. latent phase of 'reluctance' Conclusion: This study offers better understandings on the adjustment process of the institutionalized elderly and provides more appropriate nursing care to the New Comers of these facilities.
