전통(傳統) 상과학(傷科學)에 대한 소고(小考) (A Study of traditional 傷科學)

  • 상과, also called 정골과 in Korea, was a subclass of External Medicine. Of the many sub-fields belonging to Traditional Korean Medicine, 상과 specializes in technological aspects: therefore its preservation and accedence is emphasized. Traditional 상과학 primarily bases clinical diagnosis and treatment on 수기법. Tang dynasty 藺道人's "仙授理傷續斷秘方, the first medical text specializing in 상과, includes detailed description of the 復位, 夾板固定, training, and medicinal treatment stages of treating bone fracture. Jin dynasty 葛洪's "肘後備急方" introduces a fracture treatment method through 竹夾板固定.

  • A discussion of a method has been used with success in terrain modelling to estimate the height at any point on the land surface from irregularly distributed samples. The special requirements of terrain modelling are discussed as well as a detailed description of the algorithm and an example of its application.

Formulation for the Relativistic Blast Waves and GRB Afterglows

  • We present a detailed description of the blast-wave modeling technique for a very general class of GRB explosions. Providing a simple method of evaluating the blast energy, we demonstrate that a common approximation of pressure balance for the blast wave violates the energy-conservation law significantly for adiabatic blast waves. We show that the energy-violation problem is successfully resolved by the "mechanical model" that we developed. GRB afterglow lightcurves that are produced by the forward and reverse shock waves of the blast wave are presented.

  • In this paper, a control strategy of the three phase ZVT inverter for ac motor drives is proposed. The topology of ZVT inverter analyzed with a description of the control conditions dependent on the load current and MSVM(Modified Space Vector Modulation). The detailed simulation results indicate that zero-voltage operation during transition of the MSVM algorithm can be achieved.

  • In this paper, control strategies of the bridge-type ZVT inverter for AC motor drive application were discussed. The topology of the ZVT inverter is analyzed with a description of the control conditions based on the load current. And a new resonant control algorithm by using load current feedback and modified SVM algorithm for the proposed ZVT inverter is proposed in order to achieve the ZVT switching condition in full control range. The detailed computer simulation and experimental results represent that ZVT and ZCT operation for the main and auxiliary switch, respectively, was achieved.

  • Fifteen mysid species representing 4 genera are reported from the west coast of Korea, Of these, Archaeomysis vulgaris (Nakazawa), Archaeomysis japonica Hanamura, Jo and Murano and Acanthomysis tenuicauda Murano are new to the Korean fauna, Acanthomysis aspera li, Acanthomysis fujinagai li, Acanthomysis japonica Nakazawa and Acanthomysis okayamaensis li are new to the western Korean fauna. Detailed description with illustrative figures, ecological notes and keys to species are given.

  • Protogeton incertus Mayer, 1903 belonging to the family Caprellidae was collected from the South Sea, Korea. This species is very similar to Protogeton inflatus Mayer, but it is only distinguishable by the presence of biarticulate mandibular palp. Previous studies provided a very brief description of the species and lacked detailed illustration. In this study, the Korean Protogeton incertus is fully illustrated based on the mature and immature specimens.

  • Soft rot in apple caused by Rhizopus oryzae was found for the first time in Korea. A detailed description of the specimen is given along with its internal transcribed spacer rDNA sequence. The fungus was identified as Rhizopus oryzae based on the mycological characteristics, molecular data, and pathogenicity testing.

  • The $(L,\psi)$ feature description on the binary boundary air craft image is introduced of classifying 3-D object (aircraft) identification. Three types for associative matrix memories are employed and tested for their classification performance. The fast association involved in these memories can be implemented using a parallel optical matrix-vector operation. Two associative memories are based on pseudoinverse solutions and the third one is interoduced as a paralell version of a nearest-neighbor classifier. Detailed simulation results for each associative processor are provided.
