Objective: The purposes of this study are to investigate ergonomic problems and to propose their improving measures in office environment of big general hospitals. Background: Office tasks have varying risk factors of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs). The first symptom resulted from the office work was recognized as an occupational disease in Korea in 1986. Although the symptoms have increased since its first recognition, there has been few study on the effect of office work environment settings. Method: First, the author took pictures of working scenes performed in three big university hospitals. Next, the pictures were analyzed in view point of ergonomics. Based on the analysis, their improving measures were proposed for reducing work stress. Results: The results showed that most physical office environment settings such as dimensions of tables/desks and chairs, leg room, thigh, knee and foot clearances, and chairs used did not satisfy the ergonomically recommended design guidelines. In addition, some clerks placed personal belongings under their desks, put monitors in high position and did not lean against the backrest of chairs in seated tasks, which resulted in poor working postures of leg, back, neck etc. It is recommended that the hospital management should provide their clerks with ergonomically designed office furniture and continuously perform ergonomics training program for raising clerks' recognition for office ergonomics. Conclusion: Most office environment settings investigated in this study were not in good condition in view point of ergonomic design for the settings. Application: It would be useful as basic data for establishing ergonomically good office environment in hospitals.

In the latter half of the 20th century, the rapid change into the information society changes the concept of workplace. Especially the new types of office space are appearing to accept interaction and flexibility, which are the representative features of the information society. Therefore, this study is to suggest the appropriate office environment in the information society shifting from the territorial to the virtual, after analyzing the characteristics of space and design method for the Chiat/Day advertising agency in New York (1995) that was designed by Gaetano Pesce. As a result, in terms of the constitution and the arrangement of space, the non-territorial and the virtual features appear, and in terms of the analysis of design elements, in which various semantic connotations are used, horizontal, pluralistic, and fluid features appear. This kind of analysis would be helpful in finding new alternatives for the rapidly changing office environment.

Recently, the public offices are going to be an important role of CIP(City Identity Program) and be a center of citizen's community activities. So, the aspect of the universal design (UD), the space performance assessment for a disable user is invaluable to designing the public office spaces. Purpose of this paper is to provide basic data for better design of public office space based on UD(universal design) principle. Conclusion based on the finding are as follows; First, checklist of environmental assessment for public space was composed of 7 basic principles of UD and 3 additional principles(aesthetic appreciation, maintenance and eco-design). Second, as the result of assessment, accessible and inclusive design is more necessary. Third, local characteristics should be developed and managed deliberately as to public space design. As the result of that, public office space design should an important part of reducing the isolation that was caused by physical and social disability. From now on, in public office space design, the integrated and continuous design program that is based on UD principle and eco-design will be necessary.

The procedure of predicting the construction cost and selecting the best alternative is performed based on comparative review of each building case. In the case of office building, it is required continuously until design is complete, since the owner requirements are various and likely to change during the design process compared to a standardized apartment. However, since the comparison work for each alternative in practice uses only the unit construction cost, there is no correlation between the alternative and the final result, and it is difficult to quantitatively determine the effect of the determined design factor on the total construction cost. It is needed that a means to support the generation of design alternatives using similar building cases during the design phase. This paper proposes a BIM-based data replacing process to support creating and comparison of design alternatives of internal finishing for office building. When design alternatives are created through the proposed process, it is possible to compare several similar cases with current project under equivalent design circumstance. Because only some finishing properties are replaced while maintaining the shape information such as the length, height, and base constraint of the object to be replaced.

Malware files containing concealed malicious scripts have recently been identified within MS Office documents frequently. In response, this paper describes the design and implementation of a system that automatically detects malicious digital files using machine learning techniques. The system is proficient in identifying malicious scripts within MS Office files that exploit the OLE VBA macro functionality, detecting malicious scripts embedded within the CDH/LFH/ECDR internal field values through OOXML structure analysis, and recognizing abnormal CDH/LFH information introduced within the OOXML structure, which is not conventionally referenced. Furthermore, this paper presents a mechanism for utilizing the VirusTotal malicious script detection feature to autonomously determine instances of malicious tampering within MS Office files. This leads to the design and implementation of a machine learning-based integrated software. Experimental results confirm the software's capacity to autonomously assess MS Office file's integrity and provide enhanced detection performance for arbitrary MS Office files when employing the optimal machine learning model.

Telescope structure based on Korsch type optical layout was suggested for a large aperture optical system. Korsch type optical layout is regarded as providing wide field of view and no color aberration for which high resolution space cameras greatly demand. For the suggested Korsch type telescope structure, two folding mirrors are adopted, firstly to provide for the refocusing device mounting plane on the second fold mirror assembly, secondly by double folding the light path to concisely confine focal plane assembly within the perimeter of the tube. Optical layput design and corresponding support structure design were attained.

These days, a cultural life level is improved through the industrialization and information-oriented age. It is becoming Emotional. Especially, people spend most of time in the office space. The office space is the place where they usually have mental activity and Inter-communication with others. So people who work in the office space need to apply not only convenience and public welfare but also comfortablespace. Moreover, This study analyzes color of a office space and materials, and accept from efficiency and an economic design. And will present direction of a color plan to be able to feel the sensitivity design that accepted from functionality and decoration.

The purpose of this study is to provide design guidelines on office layouts to improve workers' concentration and communication behavior while supporting work processes. Among the present office types, benzene-type was preferred the most was providing better concentration. Regarding communication, link and benzene were preferred types. In present office types, workers were satisfied in communication more than concentration. To increase concentration level, acoustical privacy was indicated as the most important factor In conclusion, to support both concentration and communication in office, the team area should be divided into smaller sub-team areas. The sub-team areas may support interaction within a group while preventing unnecessary distraction. The major circulation of work process should be formed outside of the sub-team areas to provide concentration within the groups.

Today, importance is being placed on interior design and thus the scope of interior design market became very large. Management environment of an interior design office, however, often faces manu difficulties to meet a variety of customers' demand, so that expert and reasonable management ability is required. Accordingly, this study was conducted to provide basic materials on management environment for maximizing profit generation of an interior design office by investing real management situation on the subject of persons participating in management of an interior design office. As a result of investigation of 80 interior design offices which was registered in Daegu, design ratio of most of the offices was found to be less than 20% due to building owners' lack of recognition of and insufficient legal systems, and in spite that there was a department or staff fully in charge, top management makes an estimate. With regard to importance of interior design, it was found that they regarded reliability with customers as most important, and give priority to practical ability and human nature in employing a new comer. It was revealed that most offices have neither department taking fully charge of marketing, nor positive publicity, and in outside activities, the major of management have high relation with sales.
