Generation, Storing and Management System for Electronic Discharge Summaries Using HL7 Clinical Document Architecture (HL7 표준임상문서구조를 사용한 전자퇴원요약의 생성, 저장, 관리 시스템)

  • Interoperability has been deemphasized from the hospital information system in general, because it is operated independently of other hospital information systems. This study proposes a future-oriented hospital information system through the design and actualization of the HL7 clinical document architecture. A clinical document is generated using the hospital information system by analysis and designing the clinical document architecture, after we defined the item regulations and the templates for the release form and radiation interpretation form. The schema is analyzed based on the HL7 reference information model, and HL7 interface engine ver.2.4 was used as the transmission protocol. This study has the following significance. First, an expansion and redefining process conducted, founded on the HL7 clinical document architecture and reference information model, to apply international standards to Korean contexts. Second, we propose a next-generation web based hospital information system that is based on the clinical document architecture. In conclusion, the study of the clinical document architecture will include an electronic health record (EHR) and a clinical data repository (CDR), and also make possible medical information-sharing among various healthcare institutions.

  • In the construction industry, IT based information system has been diversely applied to increase productivity. Although IT device such as PDA, RFID, Barcode, wireless network and web camera has been introduced to gather information in construction site, the effect of the IT device is limited, because of bringing about additional works of engineer. In this paper, we proposed a defect management system which is based on handwritten document digitalization framework for introducing applicability of new IT device, digital pen. By the proposed system, we can effectively gather and input defect information to defect management system by using digital pen and paper like conventional way. Applying the data gathering device, digital pen to defect management, it is able to increase productivity by improving work process, building up and utilizing defect information database of good quality.

  • A new brilliant service using human-voice and DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) technique is expected nowadays in order to obtain valuable information on the internet more easily. VoiceXML (Voice eXtensible Markup Language) is the right choice that makes the new service possible. In this paper, the design and implementation of IVR (Interactive Voice Response) server using VoiceXML is described, where it connects with internet and IVR server efficiently. IVR server using VoiceXML is composed of two groups: VoiceXML document handling and VoiceXML execution. Scenario part of IVR server corresponds to VoiceXML document, the execution is performed by VoiceXML execution.

  • Dialogue speech corpora that contain sufficient dialogue speech features are needed for performance assessment of a spoken language dialogue system. And labeling information of dialogue speech corpora plays an important role for improvement of recognition rate in acoustic and language models. In this paper, we examine the methods by which labeling information of dialogue speech corpora can be structured. More specifically, we examined how to represent features of dialogue speech in a structured document based XML and how to design the repository system of the information.

  • WWW is an important method for retrieving or providing informations. Not only the amount of information but also it is widely located on the web, it is difficult for users to get or search information. Furthermore, to use search engine is also inconvenient, because it just uses a keyword without concerning a user's interest. At this point, we propose a design of web agent that uses the automatic document categorization system and user's profile concerning with a user's interest, so the agent can actively provide a information.

  • This paper describes a design and implementation of the DFR(Document Filing and Retrieval) system. one of applications of DOAM(Distributed Office Application Model) which is the international standard in ISO(International Standards Organization). On the basis of the international standard, the DFR system is implemented on SUN workstation and PC/386 with C language, and its implementation is verified by tracing the association descriptor and primitives of service elements when its operation is tested between client and server. The result of this study shows that the DFR system can be implemented on the basis of the international standard, and makes a contribution toward the establishment of functional standards for the DFR system.

  • XML DTD is defining expression of simple form for XML document, there is much difficulties to define structure of XML document. Solving XML DTD's problem, W3C was select XML schema by standard in 2001. This paper proposes a design to XML DBMS using Relational Database based on XML schema to be selected by standard from W3C to overcome XML DBMS's shortcoming using XML DTD.

  • XML(eXensible Markup Language)은 차세대 인터넷 기술의 대표적인 기술 요소로서 현재 놀라운 속도로 발전하고 있으며 다양한 인터넷 응용분야에서 적용하고 있다. 이런 추세는 XML 어플리케이션을 복잡화, 대형화시키고 있으며 이로 인하여 XML 어프리케이션 개발과 유지 보수가 점점 어려워지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결키 위해 객체지향 개발 방법론애 적용되어온 디자인 패턴(Design Patterns) 개념을 XML 개발 관련 분야에 적용시키는 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 XML 디자인 패턴 중 DTD(Document Type Definition) 모델링 시 발생하는 모호성(Ambiguity) 문제를 해결키 위한 패턴과 DOM을 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 문서 구조 트리 운행 및 접근 패턴을 제안한다. 이 패턴들을 활용한다면 DTD 설계 및 DOM(Document Object Model)을 처리하는 단계에서 재사용이 가능해져 개발된 기술들을 공유 가능하며 시스템 디자인 시에 발생 가능한 문제점들을 사전에 해결할 수 있다.
