  • Breast milk is general term for crude milk and mature that is secrete after two-three days of delivery. Because amount of milk secretion is different, disorder of milk secretion is to be classified into galactostasis and spontanous flow of milk. According to this point, we considered thirty four papers and got the conclusion about the concept, cause, therapeutic method and medication of secreation disorder. Therefore we report the result. galactostasis due to deficiency of the qi and blood, depression of liver qi, blood stasis of postpartum, excessiveness and so on. If the qi and blood is deficient, therapeutic method is enriching qi and benefiting blood, if the liver qi is deprssive, treatment is relieving the deprssive liver and regulating the circulation of qi. The milk is flowing spontanously and continously due to a prosperous condition of qi and blood, too deficiency of the qi and blood, depression of liver qi and so on. If the qi and blood is deficient, therapeutic method is tonifying and arresting the qi and blood, if Liver channel is stagnated fire, puring the liver of pathologic fire, relieving the deprssive liver and regulating the circulation of qi. • Primer $Sj{\ddot{o}}gren's$ Syndrome (pSS) is an autoimmune/inflammatory illness. The platelet indices (PIs) indicate the inflammatory response and activity/severity of many diseases. A vitamin D deficiency is accompanied by the increased tendency of autoimmune diseases. This study investigated whether the vitamin D levels are related to the altered platelet indices in pSS. A total of 261 individuals were included in this analytical cross-sectional study. The laboratory data of pSS patients were evaluated and the relationship between the PIs and vitamin D status was examined. According to these findings, in patients with pSS, the vitamin D levels were lower than the healthy control group (P<0.05). The vitamin D levels were negatively associated with PDW (P=0.012), but positively correlated with PCT (P<0.001). The cut-off point was obtained with receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curves for PDW: 12.53 (AUC 0.921, sensitivity 90%, specificity 85%), for PCT; 0.29 (AUC 0.660, sensitivity 68%, specificity 55%). In multivariate linear regression analysis, the most significant parameters for the effects of PDW are the following: vitamin D (${\beta}=-0.373$; t=-2.626; sig.=0.013) and plateletcrit (${\beta}=-0.308$; t=-2.13; sig.=0.040). A vitamin D deficiency may be accompanied by changes in PIs in pSS. A higher PDW and lower PCT supports the underlying inflammation, which may be vitamin D related useful parameters to consider in approaching to pSS.

  • Traffic information can be broadly categorized into point information and spatial information. Point information can be obtained by chocking only the presence of vehicles at prespecified points(small area), whereas spatial information can be obtained by monitoring large area of traffic scene. To obtain spatial information by image processing, we need to track vehicles in the whole area of traffic scene. Image detector system based on global tracking consists of video input, vehicle detection, vehicle tracking, and traffic information measurement. For video input, conventional approaches used auto iris which is very poor in adaptation for sudden brightness change. Conventional methods for background generation do not yield good results in intersections with heave traffic and most of the early studies measure only point information. In this paper, we propose user-controlled iris method to remedy the deficiency of auto iris and design flame difference-based background generation method which performs far better in complicated intersections. We also propose measurement method for spatial traffic information such as interval volume/lime/velocity, queue length, and turning/forward traffic flow. We obtain measurement accuracy of 95%∼100% when applying above mentioned new methods.

  • We synthesized and investigated $(La_{0.75}Sr_{0.25})_{1-x}FeO_{3-\delta}$ perovskite oxides having different stoichiomety (x = 0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08) as cathode materials. SEM images and XRD patterns reveal that the synthesized powder has uniform size distribution and high degree of crystallinity. The electrochemical performances of the synthesized powders were investigated by AC impedance spectroscopy. Both the electric conductivity and the electrochemical performance showed the highest properties at the stoichiometry x = 0.02. Finally, we concluded that the variation of A-site deficiency results in the variation of the amount of oxygen vacancy and micro structure, which leads to the variation of electric conductivity and polarization resistance.

  • In this paper, to find out how different the treatment of special individuals named 'old people' is with that of ordinary cases, Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鑑) was chosen as the study material and some parts in it where the symptoms of old people in the same disease category were treated in different ways were excerpted to analyze the tendency of pathological symptoms and prescriptions in the physiological perspective. As the result of analysis on the parts in Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鑑) where the old people were treated in different ways, it turned out that 65 prescriptions were used in 24 pathological symptoms. The 24 symptoms are included mainly in chapters of 'inner view(內景)' and 'outer form(外形)'. They are including the pathological symptoms which had been presented as general geriatric symptoms and also seems to have added other symptoms which should be clinically reflected in the specialty of treatment for geriatric diseases. The 65 prescriptions are also recorded mainly in chapters of 'inner view(內景)' and 'outer form(外形)'. The herbs used for them were sweet and warm herbs such as Rehmannia glutinosa (Gaertner) Libosch(熟地黃), Angelica gigas Nakai(當歸), Panax ginseng C. A. Mey(人蔘) and Atractylodes macrocephala Koidz(白朮) that can support the essence blood of liver and kidney and the energy of spleen, lung and stomach. Those herbs could be added or subtracted according to the symptom. It seems to have resulted from the treatment method that old people was applied to old people in consideration of their physiological features. When the 24 symptoms and 65 prescriptions for geriatric diseases different from ordinary ones in Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鑑) were considered in the physiological view point, it could be seen that each pathological symptom was manifested as a exhaustion of kidney qi(腎氣枯渴) which was a characteristic physiologic state of old people. Through this, it could be seen that the use of prescriptions was also made to mitigate the body fluid deficiency(津液不足), the kidney yin inner heat(腎陰內熱), the heart spirit void and loss(心神虛損), the kidney yang deficiency(腎陽不足), the spleen failing in transportation(脾失健運), the spleen yang deficiency(脾陽不足), the liver fire inner movement(肝火內動) and the lung energy void and loss(肺氣虛寒).

  • Objectives The objective of this study is to investigate the application of Sifeng point (EX-UE 10) in children and to make suggestions for domestic research and clinical application by reviewing relevant randomized controlled trials. Methods Eight electronic databases including English, Chinese, Korean databases were comprehensively searched for randomized controlled trials evaluating the effects of Sifeng point in children up to May 2, 2018. We extracted the year of publication, country, target diseases or symptoms, location of Sifeng, acupuncture method; such as acupuncture tool and depth of insertion, and frequency, number, and duration of the treatment. Results Fifty studies were included for analysis. All the included studies were conducted in China, and studies were published from 1962 to 2017. The most frequent target symptom was anorexia (46%). In addition, Sifeng point was used for digestive diseases or symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, and mesenteric lymphadenitis, as well as respiratory diseases or symptoms such as cough, cold, acute bronchiolitis, recurrent respiratory tract infections, bronchopneumonia, and asthmatic bronchitis. Also, allergic diseases such as chronic urticaria, and other variety of symptoms such as malnutrition, fever, and iron-deficiency anemia were treated with the Sifeng point. The location of Sifeng points was inconsistent, and the most common location of the Sifeng point was the midpoint of transverse creases of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the index, middle, ring and little fingers (84.2%). The most commonly used acupuncture tool was three-edged needle (40.9%). All included studies have the method of squeezing out blood or mucus from the Sifeng points. The treatment was mostly conducted once per week (35.4%), mostly repeated for 4 times (32.6%). The most common treatment duration was 4 weeks (18.6%). Conclusions We could identify acupuncture method and various indications for the Sifeng points treatment. Based on this study, there is a need for the clinical application and related researches on the Sifeng points in children in Korea. In addition, the treatment location of Sifeng point should be standardized.

  • Objectives: This study was a methodological study to verify the reliability and validity and to make a diagnosis of a diagnostic tool for climacteric and postmenopausal syndrome pattern identification (CaPSPI). Methods: This study was conducted from June 1, 2018 to October 18, 2018 with ${{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}}$ University Korean Medicine Hospital IRB's approval (2018-3). To make a diagnosis using CaPSPI, we decided the cut-points for the tool. Three professors of ${{\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}}$Korean Medical University conducted pattern identification diagnosis. The result is marked from 0 to 3, 0 is 'No', 1 is 'Slightly Yes', 2 is 'Yes' and 3 is 'Very Yes'. And if two or more professors' diagnoses are the same, we took the diagnoses as a diagnostic criteria. The decision of pattern by three experts converted to 0-1 scores in two ways. In "method 1", if the diagnosis was zero points, the score was 0 (have no such identification), and the rest was 1 (have such identification). In "method 2", if the diagnosis was zero or 1 point, the score was 0, and the rest was 1. After that, intraclass correlation was calculated for experts agreement. And logistic regression was conducted. A response variable was the results of the experts' diagnosis and an explanatory variable was the results of the pattern identification diagnostic tool. Results: The diagnosis of the three experts showed excellent concordance of more than 0.794 and showed a significant correlation with the diagnostic tool. Both 'Method 1' and 'Method 2' showed statistically significant effects with the diagnosis of 3 experts and the results of the diagnostic tool. The frequency of cumulative pattern identification diagnosis in 'Method 1' and 'Method 2' were found to be 578 occasions and 203 occasions, respectively. The average number of pattern held by participants in 'Method 1' and 'Method 2' were found to be 5.26 and 1.85, respectively. In both "Method 1" and "Method 2," the yield frequency of liver qi depression was the highest, and the frequency of kidney yin deficiency and liver-kidney yin deficiency was relatively high. Conclusions: Based on the above results, it is thought that, in diagnosis using CaPSPI of menopausal women, 'method 1' could be used for the health diagnosis and prevention, 'method 2' could be used for the pattern diagnosis. On the conclusion, CaPSPI is thought to be available for pattern diagnosis of menopause women.
