공동주택용 태양열원 급탕시스템의 운전성능 연구 (A Study on the Operating Performance of Solar Assisted Hot Water System for Apartment Houses)

  • In the present study, feasibility investigation on the solar assisted hot water supply system for apartment houses was carried out by the review of service facility and heat load pattern. Also analysis and experiment of the small sized system model were performed. This hybrid system are consists of solar collector, heat storage tank, controller, and gas boiler using LPG as a secondary heat source. The analytical results showed a good agreement with experimental data. We found that this hybrid system could reduce the energy cost by 30% for hot water compared to typical boiler system in the apartment houses. Also we showed that this model could be used for the energy and economic analysis of the hybrid system.

인공위성을 이용한 한반도 태양에너지자원 상세 정밀분석 (A Detailed Analysis of Solar Energy Resources in Korean Peninsula Using a Satellite)

  • Since the solar energy resource is the main input for sizing any solar energy utilization system, it is essential to utilize the solar radiation data as an application and development of solar energy system increase. It will be necessary to understand and evaluate the insolation data. The Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has begun collecting horizontal global insolation data since May, 1982 at 16 different locations in Korea and for the more detailed analysis, images taken by geostationary satellite may be used to estimate solar irradiance fluxes at earth's surface. It is based on the empirical correlation between a satellite derived cloud index and the irradiance at the ground. From the results, the measured data has been collected at 16 different stations and estimated using satellite at 44 different stations over the Korean peninsula from 1982 to 2010. The Result of analysis shows that the annual-average daily global radiation on the horizontal surface is 3.66 $kWh/m^2/day$ and estimated solar radiation fluxes show reliable results for estimating the global radiation with average deviation of -7.2 to +3.7 % from the measured values.

  • In this paper, Korea Institute of Energy Research, building integrated renewable energy monitoring system that utilizes solar power generation forecast data forecast model is proposed. Renewable energy integration of real-time monitoring system based on monitoring data were building a database and the database of the weather conditions and to study the correlation structure was tailoring. The weather forecast cloud cover data, generation data, and solar radiation data, a data mining and time series analysis using the method developed models to forecast solar power. The development of solar power in order to forecast model of weather forecast data it is important to secure. To this end, in three hours, including a three-day forecast today Meteorological data were used from the KMA(korea Meteorological Administration) site offers. In order to verify the accuracy of the predicted solar circle for each prediction and the actual environment can be applied to generation and were analyzed.

  • For cooling of double effect absorption heat pump system of solar heating source, analysis of thermodynamic design data has been done to find the property of Libr-water + ethylene Glycol mixture for working fluid by computer simulation. Derived thermodynamic design data, enthalpy based coefficient of performance and flow ratio for possible combinations of operating temperature for water - LiBr and Ethylene Glycol mixture ($H_2O$ : CHO ratio 10:1 by mole) by computer simulation are done. The obtained results, COP and mass flow ratio of the water - lithium bromide - ethylene glycol system, are compared with data for the water-Libr pair solution.

  • KnowledgThe Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has begun collecting horizontal global insolation data since May, 1982 at different locations. Because of a poor reliability of existing data, KIER's new data will be extensively used by the solar system users as well as by research institutes. But the quality of solar insolation data is not always good. This reports on an attempt to identify systematic error in such data using clear-day analysis for data rehabilitation. Clear-day analysis is successful in uncovering solar insolation data of questionable quality. It is not proven that rehabilitation process can improve the quality of data for daily or monthly means, but it is suggested that the method can be used to improve the quality of data for monthly means of several years for use in many applications of solar energy plarming. Earlier studies finding a maximum ETR of about 0.80 are confirmed.

  • Nowadays, domestic photovoltaic system market has been expanded and the governmental dissemination policy has been continued. There is only PV system output performance analysis which is called Performance Ratio(PR) analysis. However, there exists many parameters that can affect PV system output. This papers shows the PV system energy performance analysis using meteorological monitoring data. The meteorological monitoring system was installed in the H university and we analyzed the PV system which installed in the H university. We also investigated other three PV systems which located less than 3 kilometers from H university. We evaluated total 4 PV systems through the field survey data, design drawing data and power generation data. Finally, we compared the actual measuring data with the simulation data using PVSYST software.

  • The Data quality management system(DQMS) organizes and helps manage and process time sequence data usually collected in monitoring networks and programs. DQMS places particular emphasis on data qualify while maintaining a highly organized and convenient structure for data. It operates with in a flexible and powerful commercial relational data base environment which can readily link to other software platforms from local spreadsheets to network server. The Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has been solar radiation data since May, 1991 for 16 different locations. KIER's new data is expected to be extensively used by designer and researchers of solar systems in lieu of unreliable old ones. Unfortunately, the quality of the data has not always been properly mentioned. The purpose of this study is to systematically identify errors in such data set using DQMS in an effort to rehabilitate error-ridden old data. DET successfully uncovered solar radiation data that had questionable quality.

  • This study aims to develop the thermal performance and economic analysis program of solar heating system applied to district heating systems. The program, named SOLAN-DHS, is consisted of four modules like as user's interface for system input/output, library, and utilities and a calculating engine. SOLAN-DHS simplifies user's input data through the database and can design 5 different types of solar systems. Due to the user-friendly layout, all design parameters can be changed quickly and easily for the influence on system efficiency. The reliability of SOLAN-DHS was finally verified by the experiments.

GIS를 이용한 태양광 발전시스템의 활용도 높은 농촌 그린빌리지 적정입지 평가 - 충청남도 금산군 추부면을 중심으로 - (High Utilization of Photovoltaic Power System in Rural Green Village Location Analysis and Evaluation using GIS - With Chubumyeon, Keumsan, Chungnam province -)

  • The composition of rural Green Village requires higher utilization of renewable energy in those selected rural villages. The purpose of this study is to select the best results of rural green villages when using photovoltaic power system(PV system). 10 different rural villages in Chubumyeon, Keumsan, Chungnam province, were selected as study villages. This study shows measured solar radiation data, a 20-year time series data, and GIS spatial analysis; and whose were used to predict the photovoltaic power generation. PV system is used as a form with capacity of 3kWp to use for personal and public houses. Generation data was calculated by the town, where the economics of the Green Village location analysis was performed; and the solar radiation's correction factor was calculated by the 20-year time series data and measured data by study villages. By applying to the data of DEM, slope and aspect of the study villages were found, therefore performed. Spatial analysis tools were performed by using solar radiation map's tools. Those data found were used to calculate the average needed energy every months. When used the properly calculated data, towns performed economical energy consumption in rural Green Village. Every study villages have showed very high potential for PV system. Sungdangri ranked at the first (7,401kWp/year), Jangdaeri follows behind to the second (7,203kWp/year) and Yogwangri at third (7,89kWp/year) which shows higher developed energy than other study villages. The areas covered of these three towns are as follows: Sungdangri at $33,300m^2$, Jangdaeri covers $18,000m^2$ and Yogwangri shows $46,800m^2$. With these results, analyzing the potentials using GIS spatial analysis before installation of PV system was possible. Also different villages and topography in study villages have showed various results by the area. For convenience and to shorten research time, it is possible and enough to use solar radiation tools when studying spatial analysis of solar radiation.

2012년 기상관측 결과와 한국형 수평면전일사량 예측식(I) (Prediction Correlation of Solar Insolation using Relationships between Meteorological Data and Solar Insolation in 2012)

  • To well design the solar energy system, the correlation to calculate and predict solar irradiation is basically needed. So, this study was performed to reveal the relationships between the solar irradiation and four meteorological observation data(dry-bulb temperature, relative humidity, duration of sunshine, and amount of cloud) that didn't show from previous any other researches. And then, we finally proposed the various order non-linear correlation from the measured solar irradiation and four meteorological measurement data using MINITAB. To show the deviation and accuracy of the solar irradiation between measured and calculated, this study compared for the daily total solar insolation. From those results, the calculation error could well predicted about maximum 97% for the daily total solar insolation. But, the coefficients of the proposed correlations didn't show any relationships. So, needs more studies to make the proper one correlation for the country.
