Comparison shopping is a merchant brokering process that finds the best price for the desired product from several Web-based online stores. To get a scalable comparison shopper, we need an agent that automatically constructs a simple information extraction procedure, called a wrapper, for each semi-structured store. Automatic construction of wrappers for HTML-based Web stores is difficult because HTML only defines how information is to be displayed, not what it means, and different stores employ different ways of manipulating customer queries and different presentation formats for displaying product descriptions. Wrapper induction has been suggested as a promising strategy for overcoming this heterogeneity. However, previous scalable comparison-shoppers such as ShopBot rely on a strong bias in the product descriptions, and as a result, many stores that do not confirm to this bias were unable to be recognized. This paper proposes a more scalable comparison-shopping agent named MORPHEUS. MORPHEUS presents a simple but robust inductive learning algorithm that antomatically constructs wrappers. The main idea of the proposed algorithm is to recognize the position and the structure of a product description unit by finding the most frequent pattern from the sequence of logical line information in output HTML pages. MORPHEUS successfully constructs correct wtappers for most stores by weakening a bias assumed in previous systems. It also tolerates some noises that might be present in production descriptions such as missing attributes. MORPHEUS generates the wrappers rapidly by excluding the pre-processing phase of removing redundant fragments in a page such as a header, a tailer, and advertisements. Eventually, MORPHEUS provides a framework from which a customized comparison-shopping agent can be organized for a user by facilitating the dynamic addition of new stores.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of students' academic achievement of middle school science curriculum achievement standards in the 2009 revised national curriculum and to generate implications for curriculum improvement. Based on the results of the 2015-2018 National Assessment of Educational Achievement (NAEA), we analyzed middle school students' mastery of 84 curriculum achievement standards. In the analysis, we used representative item information by achievement level and correct answer rate and checked the validity of the determination of mastery. According to the results of the analysis, 15 of the 84 achievement standards could not determine the degree of achievement. In science, many achievement standards could be mastered only by above-average group students. By achievement level, there were six achievement standards that advanced achievement-level students did not achieve, 38 achievement standards judged to represent mastery by advanced achievement-level students, 23 achievement standards judged to represent mastery by proficient achievement-level students, and two achievement standards judged to represent mastery by basic achievement-level students. By content area, the number of achievement standards corresponding to advanced and proficient levels was similar in the areas of motion and energy and earth and space domains. In the material and life domains, there were more achievement standards corresponding to advanced levels. Accordingly, it is necessary to reinforce customized teaching and learning activities in relation to achievement standards that were under-achieved.

This study investigated the recognition of teachers on the introduction and use of SMART education, which is an ICT-based customized learning method. Through the investigation, the study was to empirically examine the relationship between the use intention of SMART education and its influential factors, and analyze the difference in the use intention of SMART education by teachers, focusing on the experience of SMART education. For analysis purpose, a structural equation model, which was expanded from the theory of reasoned action, was presented. In addition, the difference in path coefficient, which affects the use intention of SMART education, was compared based on the experience with or without SMART education. The results showed that teacher efficacy in the teacher group without SMART education experience was more negatively significant in class burden. In the teacher group with SMART education experience, it was found that the attitude toward SMART education was more significant in use intention; organizational citizenship behavior was more significant in use intention; teacher efficacy was more significant in the attitude toward SMART education and; teacher efficacy was more significant in organizational citizenship behavior. No significant difference was found in the path coefficient among the groups in other hypotheses. Through these results, the factors for introducing and promoting SMART education and its invigoration measures were presented.

A syllabus can be considered to be a masterplan for good educational results. This study tries to diagnose the current status of landscape architectural design education and suggest improvement strategies for better landscape design courses through the analysis of the syllabi of mid-level landscape design studio classes collected from the four-year undergraduate programs. The findings and suggestions are as follows. First, it is necessary to take advantage of a syllabus as a contract as well as a plan and a learning tool. Second, it is crucial to make more detailed statement from the perspectives of learners. Third, more customized components for design courses should be developed; the syllabus should give the structure of a design class as an integration and synthesis of other courses. Fourth, it is necessary to increase the interrelationship and relevance among the components, especially between course objectives and evaluation criteria, and course activities and references. Fifth, a syllabus needs to function as a communication tool in a flexible manner. Sixth, a syllabus needs to give a comprehensive information about the site and the design project. Finally, instructors need to introduce a set of detailed evaluation rubrics or criteria acceptable to students in order to increase the fairness and transparency of the evaluation.

This paper examines inquiries generated in three different online educational programs in Korea at the secondary educational level. Data covers 12,023 inquiries recorded during the first semester of 2019 and the compared groups among three programs are divided by four criteria: its type, period, inquirer, and the way of response. Statistical comparisons using Chi-square test suggest that there are significant differences in frequency rates of inquiries among three programs. First, 'Program A' has more inquiries by student themselves, mostly in the middle of the semester about the contents. Second, inquiries are more frequent for 'Program B' by the coordinating teachers about system-related or evaluation-related questions, either at the beginning or the end of the semester. Third, in the case of 'Program C', parents of health-impaired students are the main inquirers who ask admin-related questions at the beginning of the semester. With respect to the way of response to inquiries, more than 95% of inquiries are answered immediately for all three programs. These quantitative findings are also supported qualitatively, by face-to-face interviews with operators of the three programs. Results of this paper can be used for educational practitioners and experts when they design and operate the customized online educational programs with different purposes and different target-students in the future.
Increase of automobiles become today's environmental problem decreasing space for our children's playground. The traffic situation around us shows automobiles over filled the public roads and started to intrude even on the side walks. Children's traffic safety education for the awareness of the danger from traffic mishaps, and for the behavior to cope with preventives measure by continual learning programs in systematized method is very important need in current health education. For this research, the subject was represented by 243 students from 4th grade in D Elementary School located at Daechi-dong, Seoul. During total of 5 weeks (September 4, 1997 to September 30, 1997), lessons were taught to the subject. Lessons consist of traffic safety education and customized education program that were designed and developed specificially for the subject level. In this research, Case group of 3 classes and control group of 3classes were predetermined before subject's degree of knowledge, attitude, and practice was analized. The difference before and after the training of this education was observed to verify the effectively and to find the influential factors of this education program. On September 2-3, survey study was performed after the training. the results of this study were as follows: 1. The knowledge analysis from the comparison between before and after of the training shows case group and control group scored(8.36, 8.86) before the traning, but scored(10.36, 8.52) after the traning. the difference from the result of the case group is statistically significant(p〈0.001). 2. The attitude analysis from the comparison between before and after of the training shows case group and control group scored(48.23, 49.87) before the training, but scored (51.05, 48.45) after the traning. the difference from the result of the case group is statistically significant(p〈0.001) 3. The practice analysis from the comparison between before and after of the training shows case group and control group scored (27.42, 28.08) before the training, but scored(30.49, 28.25) after the training. The differece from the result of the case group is statistically significant (p〈0.001). 4. The correlation analysis of traffic safety education's influence on traffic safety knowledge, attitude, and practice before training shows the relationship between attitude and practice was satistically significant(p〈0.05). This study was conducted to find the mediating effect of self-leadership in the relationship between academic self-efficacy and college-life satisfaction of Chinese students majoring in beauty. Surveys were answered by 400 Chinese students from July to August 2019 and analyzed as follows. We used the SPSS22.0 program and Process macro for SPSS to analyze the frequency, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and bootstrap method. The results of the analysis showed a positive correlation among the college-life satisfaction, self-leadership, and academic self-efficacy of Chinese students, and self-leadership acted as a partially mediating variable between academic self-efficacy and college-life satisfaction. Therefore, it was found that a higher college-life satisfaction and self-leadership resulted in a higher academic self-efficacy. Based on these results, in order to alleviate the problems of college life maladjustment and low learning efficiency of Chinese students majoring in beauty, the development of self-leadership education programs is becoming more important. This must be emphasized in the Edu-Tech era due to the need for customized education programs for international students amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The purpose of this study was to examine school-level science elective-centered curriculum operation and teachers' perception of their instruction of elective-centered science courses. Data were collected from 12 science teachers in 12 high schools in the metropolitan Seoul area through semi-constructed interviews. The results showed that students were supposed to select science subjects under insufficient guidance and their choices on subject were also restricted due to school administrative processes such as teacher's instructional time allocation. Participants were well-perceived different group characteristics among humanities course and science course students toward science learning, still, they felt difficulties in valuing students' variety by differentiating contents and teaching methodologies due to school assessment system and workload of extra instructional material preparation. Influenced by the current college entrance examination system, low motivation for humanities course students and students' choice concentrated in chemistry and life science for science course students, were pointed out as main problems. As a way to improve science education for 11th - 12th graders, developing customized science curriculum for humanities course and science course respectively, changing of entrance system into increasing importance of science for students who will major in non-science fields, and designations of essential prerequisite science subject for students who will major in engineering & science fields, were suggested.
The risk of project failure has increased recently as ERP systems have been transformed into Web environments and task complexity has increased. Although low-code platform development tools are being used as a way to solve this problem, limitations exist as they are centered on UI. To overcome this, back-end development tools are required that can be developed quickly and easily, not only from the front development but also from a variety of development sources produced from the ERP development process, including back-end business services. In addition, the development tools included within existing ERP products require a lot of learning time from the perspective of beginner and intermediate developers due to high entry barriers. To address these shortcomings, this paper seeks to study ways to overcome the limitations of existing development tools within the ERP by providing customized development tool functions by enhancing the usability of ERP development tools suitable for each developer's skills and roles based on the requirements required by ERP development tools, such as reducing the time required for querying, automatic binding of data for testing for service-based units, and checking of source code quality.

This study aims to examine the efficacy of online lectures conducted by most universities in 2020 in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Furthermore, this study analyzes students' opinions regarding online lectures, thereby assessing the possible direction that future online lectures could take. This study's results indicate that online lectures can have a positive effect on learners' reading comprehension. Also, student satisfaction with online lectures was found to be quite high. Among the reasons students cited for favoring the online format were: (1) the fun presentation of class information; (2) the diversity of subjects covered; and (3) the ease of using the Internet. Among the improvements made for enhancing online lectures were technical enhancements (such as fixing attendance check authentication errors) and stabilizing the playback of lecture videos. By way of concluding, this study claims that professors who are familiar with giving lectures in person should come to recognize that online lectures are not simply another option, but are essential for the future. As such, the academic community must focus on developing online content as a way to further higher education's development in meeting the academic demands of both the present and the future.
