  • In order for electronic commerce to be successful, it must have a theoretical framework that considers the characteristics of the internet user who are consumers in the cyber space and impacts their purchase intentions. We were able to obtain participations of 316 people, and derived statistics by means of SPSS/PC version 10.0 and Amos 4.0 statistics package. We found that, the higher the degree of skill and the sense of challenge, the level of involvement and perceived service quality increased. And the degree of skill has a negative influence on awareness of perceived risk than the sense of challenge. Perceived service quality, perceived risk and involvement has a influence on purchase intentions.

  • This paper proposes and tests a theoretical model of the relational link between a novel form of customer-perceived fairness for a reward design (distributive peer justice climate) and C2C helping intention via community identification and online C2C interaction (friend-, neighboring customer-, audience-interaction) qualities in a collective consumption context (MMORPG). To test hypotheses, we amassed survey data within a collective consumption context (massively multiplayer online role-playing games, MMORPGs). We used structural equation modeling in analyzing the survey data. The results reveal that user-perceived distributive peer justice climate for a reward design enhances their C2C helping intention via community identification and C2C interactions in MMORPG contexts. Collective consumption-type service managers should focus on promoting the user-perceived distributive peer justice climate for their reward system to enhance users' present C2C co-creation experience (community identification, C2C interaction) and future C2C co-creation behavior (helping intention). By adopting an intra-unit level distributive justice concept (customer-perceived distributive peer justice climate) to a reward design in a collective consumption context (MMORPGs), this study informed collective consumption-type service managers of the importance of its management.

  • Group oriented multicast service is a prerequisite for the current application system for remote lecture and customer service. IP multicast is used to be generally accepted as an internet standard. IP multicast which is designed to support network based replication model can efficiently use host and network resource, however it has some weak points that it has to support IP multicast in the internet by adding multicast-capable internet infrastructure such as router and is vulnerable to security by using public IP address for group identifier. Therefore we propose the trigger based application level multicast model that can enhance both scalability and security by separating the functions, which send and receive message to solve these problems. Our suggested model is expected to ensure the promotion of quality of service and reliability.

  • The study investigates factors affecting the loyalty of Food Delivery Application (FDA) service in Thailand. This study employs quantitative research methodology with a non-probability sampling method to draw 510 FDA samples from the FDA users in Thailand. The online questionnaires with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.886 were used as a research tool to collect data from samples. By using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze data, the results show that trustworthiness, social influence, system design, and task-technology fit affect the user's technology acceptance, which also show the significant relationship with the loyalty of FDA users in Thailand. The study checks the harmony with the statistics; χ2 = 258.686, df. =160, χ2/df. = 1.616, p-value = 0.050, CMIN/DF = 1.616, GFI = 0.960, AGFI = 0.969, TLI = 0.953, CFI = 0.965, RMSEA = 0.047, significant level at 0.05, along with testing the weight factor. In conclusion, the research model was harmonious with the empirical data at the significant level 0.05. The finding of this study suggested that the FDA service provider might apply this research finding to develop a greater understanding of the FDA's customer loyalty, as well as determine marketing strategies, identify opportunities, and create a competitive advantage in the future.

  • As the telecommunication market becomes mature in Korea, severe competition has already begun on the market. While service providers struggled for the last couple of years to acquire as many new customers as possible, nowadays they are making more efforts on retaining the current customers. The churn management by analyzing customers' demographic and transactional data becomes one of the key customer retention strategies which most companies pursue. However, the customer data analysis has still remained at the basic level in the industry, even though it has considerable potential as a tool for understanding customer behavior. This paper develops several churn prediction models using data mining techniques such as logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks. For model-building, real data were used which were collected from one of the major telecommunication companies in Korea. This paper explores various ways of comparing model performance, while the hit ratio was mainly focused in the previous research. The comparison criteria used in this study include gain ratio, Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistics, distribution of the predicted values, and explanation ability. This paper also suggest some guidance for model selection in applying data mining techniques.

  • This study assesses the Internet banking adoption tendency by existing bank customers of Bangladesh. Currently, almost all the leading banks in the country have implemented Internet banking platforms. However, the active user count remains relatively low and there hasn't been any conclusive research on the drivers and inhibitors of Internet banking. This study evaluates the reasons and quantitatively establishes the factors leading to the adoption and usage continuance of internet banking by existing bank customers. Responses from 460 bank account holders were collected via online questionnaires using a purposive sampling approach, and a core conceptual framework based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Technology Readiness Index (TRI) was used. The study concluded that internet banking adoption is significantly impacted by the ease of use, customer service, and technology familiarity. Similarly, customer satisfaction is affected by the perceived value and the perceived risk. Through regression analysis, it was found that usage continuance is 89% explained by adoption and customer satisfaction. Multi-group moderation showed significant impact by groups divided based on usage frequency, income level, and age. Perceived risk weakened the impact of perceived value and technology familiarity on usage adoption. Additionally, perceived risk reduced the impact of consumer satisfaction and usage continuance.
