Current desulfurization and denitrification technologies have reached a considerable level in terms of reduction efficiency. However, when compared with the simultaneous reduction technology, the individual reduction technologies have issues such as economic disadvantages due to the difficulty to scale-up apparatus, secondary pollution from wastewater/waste during the treatment process, requirement of large facilities for post-treatment, and increased installation costs. Therefore, it is necessary to enable practical application of simultaneous SOx and NOx treatment technologies to remove two or more contaminants in one process. The present study analyzes a technology capable of maintaining simultaneous treatment of SOx and NOx even at low temperatures due to the electrochemically generated strong oxidation of the wet-pulse complex system. This system also reduces unreacted residual gas and secondary products through the wet scrubbing process. It addresses common problems of the existing fuel gas treatment methods such as SDR, SCR, and activated carbon adsorption (i.e., low treatment efficiency, expensive maintenance cost, large installation area, and energy loss). Experiments were performed with varying variables such as pulse voltage, reaction temperature, chemicals and additives ratios, liquid/gas ratio, structure of the aeration cleaning nozzle, and gas inlet concentration. The performance of individual and complex processes using the wet-pulse discharge reaction were analyzed and compared.
In order to optimize the pulse electroforming copper process, a double hidden layer BP (Back Propagation) neural network is constructed. Through sample training, the mapping relationship between electroforming copper process conditions and target properties is accurately established, and the prediction of microhardness and tensile strength of the electroforming layer in the pulse electroforming copper process is realized. The predicted results are verified by electrodeposition copper test in copper pyrophosphate solution system with pulse power supply. The results show that the microhardness and tensile strength of copper layer predicted by "3-4-3-2" structure double hidden layer neural network are very close to the experimental values, and the relative error is less than 2.32%. In the parameter range, the microhardness of copper layer is between 100.3~205.6MPa and the tensile strength is between 112~485MPa.When the microhardness and tensile strength are optimal, the corresponding process conditions are as follows: current density is 2A-dm-2, pulse frequency is 2KHz and pulse duty cycle is 10%.

This paper describes the development of a portable potentiostat which can perform square wave voltammetry on electrochemical sensors and wireless transmission of the measured data to a smartphone using Bluetooth. The potentiostat consists of a square wave potential pulse generation circuit for applying the potential pulse to the electrochemical sensor, a reduction/oxidation (or redox) current measurement circuit, and Bluetooth for wireless data transmission to an Android-based smartphone. The measured data are then processed to show the output graph on the smart phone screen in real time. This data transformation into a graph is carried out by developing and installing a simple transformation application software in the Android-based smartphone. This application software also enables the user to set and change the measurement parameters such as the applied voltage range and measured current range at user's convenience. The square voltammetry output data measured with the developed portable potentiostat were almost same as the data of the commercial potentiostat. The measured oxidation peak current with the commercial potentiostat was $11.35{\mu}A$ at 0.26 V and the measured oxidation peak current with the developed system was $12.38{\mu}A$ at 0.25 V. This proves that performance of the developed portable measurement system is comparable to the commercial one.

In this paper, we realize the active PFC(Power Factor Correction) system of BF(Boost Forward) converter with PWM-PFM(Pulse Width Modulation-Pulse Frequency Modulation) control technique to control DC output voltage, to remove the noise like harmonics at output voltage, and to control the input current with sinusoidal wave synchronized by the source voltage. To achieve the desired load voltage and improved PFC, we first implement current shaping control at the inverting stage and make the converted output DC voltage with forward converter. After making the ratio of output voltage to current as 50V/1A and the duty ratio greater than 0.5. When input voltage is 30V and boost inductance is 1.1mH. we control the voltage changing rate according to the variation of load resistance using a PWM-PFM control technique. And finally we prove experimentally, we attenuated its harmonics and improved PF up to 0.96 using the current shaping technique.

This paper presents a novel charge pump scheme that combines the advantages of Fibonacci and Dickson charge pumps to obtain 30 V voltage for display driver integrated circuit application. This design only requires four external capacitors, which is suitable for a small-package application, such as smart card displays. High-amplitude (<6.6 V) clocks are produced to enhance the gate drive of a Dickson charge pump and improve the system's current drivability by using a voltage-doubler charge pump with a pulse skip regulator. This regulation engages many middle-voltage devices, and approximately 30% of chip size is saved. Further optimization of flying capacitors tends to decrease the total chip size by 2.1%. A precise and simple model for a one-stage Fibonacci charge pump with current load is also proposed for further efficiency optimization. In a practical design, its voltage error is within 0.12% for 1 mA of current load, and it maintains a 2.83% error even for 10 mA of current load. This charge pump is fabricated through a 0.11 μm 1.5 V/6 V/32 V process, and two regulators, namely, a pulse skip one and a linear one, are operated to maintain the output of the charge pump at 30 V. The performances of the two regulators in terms of ripple, efficiency, line regulation, and load regulation are investigated.

Copper filling into TSV (through-silicon-via) and reduction of the filling time for the three dimensional chip stacking were investigated in this study. A Si wafer with straight vias - $30\;{\mu}m$ in diameter and $60\;{\mu}m$ in depth with $200\;{\mu}m$ pitch - where the vias were drilled by DRIE (Deep Reactive Ion Etching) process, was prepared as a substrate. $SiO_2$, Ti and Au layers were coated as functional layers on the via wall. In order to reduce the time required complete the Cu filling into the TSV, the PPR (periodic pulse reverse) wave current was applied to the cathode of a Si chip during electroplating, and the PR (pulse-reverse) wave current was also applied for a comparison. The experimental results showed 100% filling rate into the TSV in one hour was achieved by the PPR electroplating process. At the interface between the Cu filling and Ti/ Au functional layers, no defect, such as a void, was found. Meanwhile, the electroplating by the PR current showed maximum 43% filling ratio into the TSV in an hour. The applied PPR wave form was confirmed to be effective to fill the TSV in a short time.
Injected fuel pressure waves of a common rail injector with various current profiles supplied to the injecor were measured using Bosch method. In order to drive the common rail injector, the current in the solenoid should be controlled using what is known as a peak and hold pattern, which consists of a high current level with a short time duration (peak) in the first step and a low current level with a long time duration (hold) in the subsequent step. The current profile can be shaped by swithcing an injector driving power source with the peak and hold waves. The capture, compare and PWM (CCP) pin in the microprocessor was used to generate the combined peak and hold waves. The PWM square wave generated from the CCP pin has a duty ratio of 100% for the peak current and 10% or 30% for the hold pattern. Five patterns of the current profile were generated by combining the peak and hold wave. The common rail pressure is controlled at 75, 100, and 130 MPa. As the fuel rail pressure increases, the variations of the measured fuel injection pressure wave according to the current profiles decrease.

We fabricate PLT(5) thin film on Pt/TiO/sub x/SiO₂/Si substrate by using sol-gel method and investigate leakage current, switching and retention properties. The leakage current density of PLT(5) thin film is 3.56×10/sup -7/A/㎠ at 4V. In the examination of switching properties, pulse voltage and load resistance were 2V~5V and 50Ω~3.3kΩ, respectively. Switching time has a tendency to decrease from 0.52㎲ to 0.14㎲ with the increase of pulse voltage, and also the time increases from 0.14㎲ to 13.7㎲ with the increase of load resistance. The activation energy obtained from the relation of applied pulse voltage and switching time is about 135kV/cm. The error of switched charge density between hysteresis loop and experiment of polarization switching is about 10%. Also, polarization in retention decreases as much as about 8% after l0/sup 5/s.
In this study, I presented power control unit with potential use in the magnetic stimulation of biological systems. The effect of the magnetic stimulation depends on the geometry and orientation of the induced electric field as well as on the current pulse waveform delivered by the stimulator coil. TMS is achieved from the outside of the head using pulses of electromagnetic field that induce an electric field in the brain. There are numerous possibities in the applications TMS, such as diagnosis and therapy through the brain stimulation. These factors are very important to define the equipment requirements and characteristics in that the topology of the power supply and the size and geometry of the coil. The proposed solution is the generation of current pulses with variable amplitude and duration, according to a user defined input. Another solution is the topology that uses elements to store and transfer energy from the power source to the load. In addition to proposed topology, an adequate control strategy and right set of the power circuit parameters made possible to obtain unipolar waves and bipolar waves.

RPWM(Random Pulse Width Modulation) is a switching technique to spread the voltage and current harmonics on wide frequency area. Using randomly changed switching frequency of the inverter, the power spectrum of the electromagnetic acoustic noise can be spread into the wide-band area. And the wide-band noise is much more comfortable and less annoying than the narrow-band one. So RPWM have been attracting an interest as an excellent reduction method of acoustic noise on the inverter drive system. In this paper a new RPPWM(Random Position PWM) is proposed and implemented. Each of three pulses is located randomly in each switching intervals. Along with the randomization of PWM pulses, the space vector modulation is processed on the C167 microcontroller also. The experimental results show that the voltage and current harmonics were spread into wide band area and that the audible switching noise was reduced by proposed RPPWM method.
