Objectives : The objective of this study is to report a treated case with elderly gravida who suffered from two-times of traffic accidents during pregnancy. Methods : The patient, 39-year-old, was hospitalized to care pain and symptoms caused by traffic accidents during pregnancy. The patient was treated with herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping therapy and physical treatment during the admission period. We investigated the clinical management of Korean obstetrics and gynecology in an elderly gravida during pregnancy. Results & Conclusions : Despite of hard conditions such as elderly gravida and two-times of traffic accidents, pregnancy was well maintained through medical treatment. It is suggested that medical treatment of Korean medicine is effective to manage pregnancy of symptoms after accident.

Ocular injury is one of the commonest causes of eye diseases, but its patterns and incidences are variable according to the environment. Blunt Ocular Trauma is one of causes of ocular injury. Visual disturbance by Blunt Ocular Trauma is rarely reported and we do not know the exact convalescence and healing method of that. We treated a patient suffered from visual disturbance by blunt ocular trauma with herbal medicine, acupuncture, cupping treatment. We diagnosed as Blood stasis and noxious water disease. We report a case of visual disturbance by blunt ocular trauma after treatments, we observed the improvement. Based on this study, it is considered that oriental medical treatment can be applied to the management of visual disturbance.

Objectives: This study evaluated the effects of traditional Korean medicine treatment on a patient with asthma. Methods: A patient was treated with acupuncture, herbal medicine, and cupping. The effect of treatment was evaluated via the quality of life questionnaire for adult Korean asthmatics (QLQAKA), the visual analog scale (VAS), and night awakening frequency. Results: After treatment, improvements were observed. The total QLQAKA score increased from 36 to 50. Conclusions: This study observed that traditional Korean medicine treatments are effective in caring for a patient with asthma.

Introduction: This case report assessed the effects of Korean medicine treatments on a chronic migraine patient who did not respond to triptan. Case Presentation: The patient received Korean medicine treatments, such as acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, and herbal medication, during a hospitalization period. The effects of treatments were assessed with the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) and migraine attack frequency. The intensity and attack frequency of migraines were significantly reduced after the complete treatment. Conclusions: For migraines, Korean medicine such as acupuncture and herbal medication could be an alternative to conventional therapy.

It was aimed to report a case of both anterior cerebral artery territory infarction patient improved by korean medical treatment. The patient was diagnosed by brain magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) and magnetic resonance angiography(MRA). The symptoms were quadriplegia, urinary frequency, urinary incontinence and abulia. I applied herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, pharmacopuncture, cupping and physical exercise therapy. As a result of them, the symptoms of the patient were improved considerably. Status of the patient was evaluated by manaul muscle test(MMT), modified barthel index(MBI) and functional independence measure(FIM) and medical interview. MBI score was changed from 35 to 95 and FIM score was changed from 66 to 115. Therefore this report suggests that korean medical treatment could be effective to the anterior cerebral artery territory infarction.

Two kinds of thermo-mechanical treatments(TMT) were applied to two AA3104 alloys. Tensile test, cupping and mesurement were conducted. Height and angular positions of earings in the drawn cups were explained by ODF on the contents of alloying elements. The tensile strengths measured in RD+45$^{\circ}$direction were generally lower than those measured in RD and TD directions. The textures of the experimental alloys were determined as shear texture {100}<011> and Cube texture {100}<001> by ODF's. Some optimum ratio of shear texture {100}<011> and Cube texture {100}<001> for reducing earings was found.

The material properties and forrnabilities of tailored blanks are evaluated by experimental tests. In the tensile test, the gradient of strength coefficients of the heat affected zone associated with the welded line width represents the quality of a welded part. In the hemispherical dome punching test, the plane strain state of the welded line is observed. In the squared cupping test, the thin side is stretched more than the thick side in the stretch mode, while both sides are similarly stretched in the draw mode. In the 2D draw test, FLCo is measured in a simple manner and the forming defects of the tailored blanks with the same thickness are found.

A laser line welder using a solid-state laser (Yb:YAG) has been manufactured for joining ultra-thin cold-rolled steel coils in steelworks. The coils to be welded primarily range from 0.15 to 0.3 mm in thickness and 800 to 1,100 mm in width. Because the steel plate is extremely thin, it is very important to control the stop positions of the clamp at cutting and welding points. In this study, both hydraulic proportional control valves and LVDT sensor embedded cylinders were used to precisely control and monitor the positions of clamps with complementary stoppers. As a result, the positions could be controlled within an error of ${\pm}30{\mu}m$. Erichsen cupping tests on the welded joints show that the Erichsen index ranges from 4.4 to 4.6 mm. Furthermore, the tensile strength of welding points is comparable to that of the base metal.

Clinical study on one case of climacteric syndrome induced hysterectomy climacteric syndrome is symptoms of physical, mental, physiological in menopausal period. Importance of treatment of climacteric symptoms was on the rise recently. I have treated one patient who has mental depression, anxiety, impatience, impotence, palpitations, facial flushing, abdominal pain in the menopausal period in Dongshin University Oriental Hospital. I took acupunture, moxibustion, cupping, and also I made herbal medicine-gamiguibitang(加味歸脾湯). As a result, I got a good effect through above methods. So I came to write this case report.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Korean medicine on Bell's palsy with Chronic suppurative otitis media. Methods : We used herbal medication, acupuncture, pharmacopuncture and cupping therapy for treatment. To evaluate the results of the treatment, we observed the patient's condition. Results : The patient's objective and subjective symptoms showed noticeable improvement after treatment. Conclusions : We suggest that Bell's palsy with chronic suppurative otitis media can be treated by Korean medicine effectively.
