한계상태 토질역학을 사질토의 전단거동에 대한 적용을 용이하게 하기 위해서, 표준삼축 시험으로부터 사질토에서의 한계상태정수 결정에 관하여 종합적인 고찰을 실시하였다. 첫째로, 문헌에 있는 어휘론적인 차이점들을 명확히 함으로써, 한계상태는 대변형에서의 궁극적인 최종상태를 나타냄을 추론하였다. 둘째로, 한계상태정수의 특성들에 관하여 검토하였고, 초기상태, 구주 하중조건 및 배수조건에 따른 한계상태선의 유일성과 유사한계상태조건의 민감성을 검증하였다. 셋째로, 한계상태정수로부터 액상화후 전단강도 즉 액상화된 흙에서의 신뢰할 수 있는 궁극적인 전단강도를 산정하기 위하여 한계상태 토질역학을 예제로서 적용하였다.

This paper offers a critical review of a newspaper argument regarding the problems of high school education assessment for university entrance examination system in the United Kingdom. The media account raises three sets of questioning to hold that the nation's long-standing A-levels have failed and is no longer viable as a high-stakes test. However, it is found that the writer's argumentations involving misleading conceptions can be deconstructed because of invalid reasoning and unreliable evidence. So, it is proposed that a reasonable solution to replace the discredited A-level exams should be to adopt an eclectic approach for assessing candidates' multiple capabilities; performance, potentiality and critical thinking skills. These criteria for component-oriented assessments are designed to measure their high school academic achievements and intellectual capacity for tertiary education; in the process of such measurement, critical-logical reasoning abilities for sound judgment and problem-solving tasks should be incorporated with the basic precondition that each university possesses its own discretion for the determination of adequate proportions to reflect each of the assessment outcomes. It is, therefore, expected that this critical review will inspire the readers to understand aspects of assessment as an educational field and to confirm how seriously they may be misguided by a distorted media argumentation without substantive background knowledge.

Quantitative risk assessments are related to implementing hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) by its potential involvement in identifying critical control points (CCPs), validating critical limits at a CCP, enabling rational designs of new processes, and products to meet required level of safety, and evaluating processing operations for verification procedures. The quantitative risk assessment is becoming a standard research tool which provides useful predictions and analyses on microbial risks and, thus, a valuable aid in implementing a HACCP system. This paper provides a review of microbial modeling in quantitative risk assessments, which can be applied to HACCP systems.

The field of international management has consistently been recognized as one of the key research pillars in the grand scope of trade studies. In this paper, we conducted critical review on literatures of international management, which were published in Korea Trade Review from 1975 to 2019. Especially, this paper analyzed 'when did research results in the field of international management appear in Korea Trade Review for the first time?', 'how many papers in the field of international management have been published in Korea Trade Review so far?', 'what topics have the papers in the field of international management published in Korea Trade Review mainly described?', and 'what research methods have the papers in the field of international management published in Korea Trade Review adopted?' In particular, this paper compared the similarities and differences between the research issues in leading global journals and those of international management research papers published in Korea Trade Review. In addition, some implications for future research would be suggested regarding what characteristics of international management studies will be meaningful to be published in the Korea Trade Review.

Considering the complex relationship between fashion curating and the critical approach of fashion exhibition reviews, this study explores the current state of fashion criticism in museology, focusing on fashion designer exhibition reviews of Fashion Theory. The author selected eighteen exhibition reviews of individual fashion designers' works from 1997 on to the current 2020 issues of Fashion Theory, which provides an interdisciplinary forum to analyze fashion as a cultural construction. The author performed a systematic review that qualitatively summarizes and/or synthesizes the findings of the studies on the topic with the process of a systematic review, such as key question formulation, analytic framework building, evidence mapping, critical appraisal, and evidence synthesis. The results of this study are as follows. First, the exhibition reviews included almost all stages of the inclusive fashion criticism model, based on an artifact study. Second, they reflected various critical discourses that offered current interpretations of historical and contemporary fashion. Third, they showed that fashion criticism in the museum context is the result of an interdisciplinary collaboration of various fashion agents. Finally, they offered a bridge for crossing the boundaries of various scholarly fields, as they combine multidisciplinary scholarship with object-based methods.

Background: Emphasis in healthcare during the 1990s has been to provide both optimal wellness and function with quality in a Cost-effective manner. Critical pathway was developed to meet the need to guide clients along the continunm of care and to achieve continuity of care. The purpose of this study is to review and analyze articles related to the critical pathway that had developed and applied in Korea and abroad from 1995 to 1999. Methods: Total 39 studies were analyzed in terms of group of application, need of development, horizontal axis: time frame, vertical axis : items of care, task force team, identification of preliminary critical pathway, validation of preliminary critical pathway, types of final critical pathway, a person who coordinates and effects on critical pathway. Results: In the aspect of group of application, there were various diseases in the overseas than in Korea. In domestic and overseas, the horizontal axis included mainly the time from the start of hospitalization to discharge and vertical axis of the critical pathway included commonly the following nine items : tests, diet, medications, consultations, activity, assessments, treatments, education, discharge planning. Preliminary critical pathway was mainly drawn up through chart review in both. Types of final critical pathway were mostly for medical team use in Korea and were for medical team and patient use in abroad. A person who coordinates critical pathway was mostly nurse in abroad. There was positive effects on critical pathway in both. Conclusion: Staff education and information about critical pathway are needed to use it effectively.

본 연구는 융복합 시대에 중요한 능력인 비판적 사고와 관련되어 국내 간호대학 교육에서 연구된 논문(1996-2014) 75편을 분석한 문헌고찰 연구이다. 고찰 결과 2006년을 기점으로 비판적 사고 관련 연구가 크게 증가하였으며, 연구 설계는 관련 요인을 탐색하는 수준에서 경로모형 구축까지 진행되었음을 확인할 수 있었다. 비판적 사고에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 학력, 연령, 교우관계, 학업성적, 임상실습 기간, 전공만족도, 자아존중감, 자기효능감, 학습방법 등이 확인되었으며, 비판적사고 성향이 높을수록 임상실습 스트레스, 인지된 스트레스가 낮아지고, 문제해결 능력, 임상수행능력, 감정조절, 의사소통 능력이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 비판적 사고는 단기간에 획득, 향상되기 어려우므로 지금까지 연구에서 확인된 비판적 사고와 관련된 원인 및 결과변수를 바탕으로 간호교육과정에서 장기적이고 체계적으로 비판적 사고를 향상시키기 위한 교육 프로그램을 개발할 것을 제언한다.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is of increasing interest to both industry practitioners and academics because of increasing public awareness of environmental, economic and social sustainability. The last decade witnessed a large number of studies on the development of CSR principles and the implementation of CSR in various industries such as the mining industry, oil industry and food industry. However, there is limited number of CSR studies focusing on the construction industry. Considering the critical role the construction industry plays in achieving economic, social and environmental sustainability, it is imperative to extend the current CSR research to the construction sector. This paper provides a critical review of literature related to corporate social responsibility in construction context. A special focus is placed on the current practice adopted by the industry to be socially responsible. A research agenda is set up to tackle this critical issue.

The field of critical care medicine has flourished, but an unfortunate result of improved patient survival in the intensive care unit is the occurrence of certain acquired neuromuscular disorders. During the last two decades, various neuromuscular disorders were recognized as common causes of weakness occurring in critically ill patients. The two most common disorders are an acute quadriplegic myopathy predominantly associated with the use of intravenous corticosteroids and neuromuscular junction blocking agents and severe systemic illness termed critical illness myopathy(CIM), and an axonal sensorimotor polyneuropathy termed critical illness polyneuropathy. I will review briefly about general components of the CIM.
