A ring R is called linearly McCoy if whenever linear polynomials $f(x)$, $g(x){\in}R[x]{\backslash}\{0\}$ satisfy $f(x)g(x)=0$, there exist nonzero elements $r,s{\in}R$ such that $f(x)r=sg(x)=0$. In this paper, extension properties of linearly McCoy rings are investigated. We prove that the polynomial ring over a linearly McCoy ring need not be linearly McCoy. It is shown that if there exists the classical right quotient ring Q of a ring R, then R is right linearly McCoy if and only if so is Q. Other basic extensions are also considered.

Nielsen and Rege-Chhawchharia called a ring R right McCoy if given nonzero polynomials f(x), g(x) over R with f(x)g(x) = 0, there exists a nonzero element r ${\in}$ R with f(x)r = 0. Hong et al. called a ring R strongly right McCoy if given nonzero polynomials f(x), g(x) over R with f(x)g(x) = 0, f(x)r = 0 for some nonzero r in the right ideal of R generated by the coefficients of g(x). Subsequently, Kim et al. observed similar conditions on linear polynomials by finding nonzero r's in various kinds of one-sided ideals generated by coefficients. But almost all results obtained by Kim et al. are concerned with the case of products of linear polynomials. In this paper we examine the nonzero annihilators in the products of general polynomials.

In this paper, we define a new kind of formal power series rings by using Gaussian binomial coefficients and investigate some properties. More precisely, we call such a ring a Gaussian series ring and study McCoy's theorem, Hermite properties and Noetherian properties.

Verrucous carcinoma is a distinctive, extremely well-differentiated, slow-growing variant of the squamous cell carcinoma. Verrucous carcinoma of the oral cavity is relatively rare. McCoy reported about 49 verrucous carcinomas of the oral cavity. McCoy reported that the most common site of occurrence was the buccal mucosa, followed by the mandibular alveolar ridge and gingiva, and that The majority of the patients were between the ages of 50 and 80 years. Although most other series of oral verrucous carcinoma show a male predominence, our case occurred in female. The role of radiation therapy in treatment of oral verrucous carcinoma is controversial, and adequate surgical excision appears to be the treatment of choice. In this paper a case of verrucous carcinoma of the buccal mucosa and a review of the literature is presented.

According to Jacobson [31], a right ideal is bounded if it contains a non-zero ideal, and Faith [15] called a ring strongly right bounded if every non-zero right ideal is bounded. From [30], a ring is strongly right AB if every non-zero right annihilator is bounded. In this paper, we introduce and investigate a particular class of McCoy rings which satisfy Property (A) and the conditions asked by Nielsen [42]. It is shown that for a u.p.-monoid M and ${\sigma}:M{\rightarrow}End(R)$ a compatible monoid homomorphism, if R is reversible, then the skew monoid ring R * M is strongly right AB. If R is a strongly right AB ring, M is a u.p.-monoid and ${\sigma}:M{\rightarrow}End(R)$ is a weakly rigid monoid homomorphism, then the skew monoid ring R * M has right Property (A).

Different papers such as toilet and towel tissue, newsprint and copy paper made from reclaimed fibres were characterized using UV-VIS reflectance and fluorescence spectroscopy. The emission properties of the extracts of the papers were also evaluated. Photochemical irradiation at ambient temperatures, and thermal aging of the copy papers at 105$^{\circ}C$ and 150$^{\circ}C$ were performed. Post-colour numbers (PC) were calculated from the reflectance values measured from the corresponding UV-VIS reflectance spectra. Light absorption coefficient spectra were calculated before and after irradiation, and the changes in absorption coefficient were related to the content of chromophores in the papers. Photochemical and thermal discolouration of the copy papers, similar to that of virgin fibres, was readily observed. The influence of changes in the concentrations of fluorescent brightening agents and dyes on the spectral properties was also assessed. Photostabilization studies of the copy papers were performed with the use of polymer additives polyethylene glycol (PEG) and polytetrahydrofuran (PTHF).

In [12], McCoy proved that if R is a commutative ring, then whenever g(x) is a zero-divisor in R[x], there exists a nonzero c $\in$ R such that cg(x) = 0. In this paper, first we extend this result to monoid rings. Then for a monoid M, we give some examples of M-quasi-Armendariz rings which are a generalization of quasi-Armendariz rings. Every reduced ring is M-quasi-Armendariz for any unique product monoid M and any strictly totally ordered monoid $(M,\;{\leq})$. Also $T_4(R)$ is M-quasi-Armendariz when R is reduced and M-Armendariz.

In this paper, a redesign of an existing computer case is Proposed by applying some guide lines of assembly and disassembly which have positive effects on environment. Some problems such as Increase of number of disassembly and vibration, and unfittable difficulty in assembly and disassembly of coy-ers are recognized through analysis of geometrical structure in view of both assembly and disassembly. A solution of these problems is proposed by ideas of positive environmental influence through ease of assembly and disassembly. Design for Environment Software is used to evaluate both redesigned and existing products. Time of assembly and disassemb]y and MET-point are especially calculated by the software, and these data give us a good guide for analysis of ease of assembly, ease of disassembly and environmental influence in both products.

This paper aims to explore how Millay's love sonnets rewrite the carpe diem tradition in the complicated ways. This paper redirects critical attention away from Millay's individual experience and inner self toward the scene of literary history, suggesting that there may be more historical consciousness in Millay's sentimental and feminine "gesture." Rewriting the carpe diem tradition, Millay's sonnets reveal an awareness of the dependence of the carpe diem poems' discursive logic on the woman's coyness, its inability to accomplish its triumph over woman or time (death) without her posited reluctance. Contrary to Andrew Marvel's "To His Coy Mistress," the speakers of Millay's sonnets could never be accused of the sexual coyness; they are outspoken in their defiance of both death and lovers whose possessiveness resembles death's embrace. Moreover, as Stacy Carson Hubbard points out, by converting female sexual experience from its status as a onetime closural event to repeatable one, hence an opportunity for the general and emotional irritability productive of narrative, Millay seizes for the woman the power of "dilation" in both its sexual and its verbal forms. Furthermore, this paper argues that the woman's sex no longer invites analogies to things secret and sealed, preserved or ruined in Millay's sonnets. The woman's promiscuity implies a rejection of monumentalizing love, as well as a refusal of the fixing inherent in the carpe diem's fearful invocation of the movement of time. Throughout the love sonnets, the speaker's sexualized body produces nothing but ephemera. For Millay, this body spends its powers in hopes of having them, and the force of this spending is a perpetual and willful forgetting, which makes possible the repetition of love's story. Ultimately, Milly disturbs our critical categories by rendering permeable boundaries between modern literature and dead form of classic literature, the female speaker and male speaker.

The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristic expression of Korean traditional costumes shown in the Korean paintings by Kim Hyun-Jung. The study analyzed the paintings by Kim Hyun-Jung to find out the characteristics of the contemporary Korean paintings and the expression of Korean traditional costumes. The characteristics of Kim Hyun-Jung's works are as follows: 1) The paintings are drawn by using Korean traditional painting methods and finished with Korean traditional paper, hanji. Moreover, they show the Korean traditional costume as main subject material. 2) They use modern painting methods, such as collage, and show pop art characters by use of contemporary popular products. 3) The artist communicates with the public through SNS and YouTube, and shows characteristics of popular art through commercial art products and advertisements. The characteristics of the Korean traditional costume in Kim Hyun-Jung's works are as follows. 1) The hanbok shown in the paintings is a traditional style with tight jeogori and wide chima. Chima is drawn in thin coloring with Korean ink and jeogori is expressed with semi-transparent hanji in various patterns and colors, which shows the subject 'coy'. 2) Various kinds of Korean traditional accessories and modernized flower shoes with high heels are shown as subject materials. The art works by contemporary Korean artists are expected to be the route to give valuable information to the public about Korean traditional costumes as well as the trendy Korean culture.
