건강가정지원센터 이용실태 및 활성화 방안 연구 - 경기도를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Use of Health Family Support Centers and Its Activation Plan - Focused to Gyeonggi-do -)

  • This study aimed at figuring out the current state of 26 family-health support centers in Gyeonggi-do, in order to prepare an activation plan for the centers. These centers are the main mediators of the family health operation. This study also aimed to understand the center users' satisfaction and demands. The results were as follows. First, a total of 65,794 participants from 9,960 businesses were processed. The majority had attended various integrated family services, followed by family counseling and/or family-friendly culture-establishing businesses. Second, the main users' profiles were as follows: average age, 41; average number of persons in the family, 3.78; education above foundation-level degree; diverse jobs that included special occupations; average monthly incomes of 3,390,000 won; and a middle-class living standard (as self-described by participants). Third, the users' main concern for their families was "financial difficulties," and they had an interest in education and counseling. Although they thought education and counseling were suitable solutions, they hesitated because they did not think their problems were serious enough to merit them. Fourth, the satisfaction level of their participation in their center's program was generally high, at 3.9-4.2 points. The majority of them said they would attend again in the future.

보건소 금연클리닉 이용자의 지역별 금연 성공요인 (The Factors Influencing on Success of Quitting Smoking in Rural and Urban Smoking Cessation Clinics)

  • - Abstract - Objectives: The purpose of this paper is to determine an efficient operation plan for a smoking cessation clinic in public health centers. To do so, the primary success factors in smoking cessation have been analyzed after classifying the smoking cessation programs of public health centers into urban and rural areas. Methods: A study was conducted with 262,837 smokers age 19 or older who were provided with smoking cessation services for more than 6 months through smoking cessation clinics at public health centers(250 clinics nationwide) from July 16, 2006 to July 15, 2007. Results: Urban areas indicated that gender, age, social security, the frequency of counseling, re-enrollment in the program, the number of cigarettes per day and alcohol problems were all factors that influenced the success of smoking cessation. On the other hand, in the rural areas the total number of counseling, re-enrollment in the program, the number of cigarettes per day and alcohol problems were the influential factors. Furthermore, the urban area confirmed that the frequency of counseling, re-enrollment in the program, the number of cigarettes per day and alcohol problems affected traveling while the rural area was affected by social security, the frequency of counseling and re-enrollment. Conclusions: It has been confirmed that the success rate and factors of smoking cessation clinics can vary depending on the region and enrollment method.

기상 특보 발표가 기상청 콜센터 상담 건수에 미치는 영향 분석 (The Impact of Severe Weather Announcement on the Korea Meteorological Administration Call Center Counseling Demand)

  • The effective management of call centers under special circumstances is critical to improve customer satisfaction. In order to effectively respond to call center counseling demand, this paper aims to identify factors having the greatest impact on the number of Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) call center counseling. To do so, we propose to combine call center data with severe weather announcement data and investigate how the severe weather announcement affects the number of KMA call center counseling. A time lag analysis is conducted and it is found that the severe weather announcement takes about an hour to be reflected in the number of KMA call center counseling. Based on the result of the time lag analysis, we conduct a comparative analysis according to time and season using the data collected from 1 January 2012, to 29 June 2016. The results show that the number of KMA call center counseling increases at lunchtime and decreases during nighttime, and the average rate of change in call center counseling demand tends to be larger under the severe weather announcement. For the comparative analysis according to the season, there are significant differences in the effect of severe weather announcement on the number of KMA call center counseling in spring, fall and winter.

한국과 일본의 소비자 업무 현황파악 및 비교: 업무평가를 중심으로 (The trends and comparisons of consumer agencies between Japan and Korea: Focused on work performance)

  • This study investigated and compared the tasks peformed by Consumer Agencies in Korea and Japan. It also investigated the variables influencing evaluation scores on consumer tasks. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, Japanese counselors were predominantly older, married females in contrast to the predominance of relatively young, single, male, Korean consumer counselors. In Korea, most consumer tasks were performed by Consumer Agencies in Seoul while internet counseling was popular. In addition, 13 counselors belong to Korean Consumer Agencies while 80 worked in the Korea Consumer Protection Board. In Japan, consumer tasks were peformed by Consumer Centers located broadly across the nation but no internet counseling was provided, while the average number of consumer counselors per Consumer Center was 8. The average number of consumer counseling sessions per day was greater in Korea than in Japan while the average monthly income was higher in Japan than in Korea. Second, evaluation of the tasks performed by Consumer Agencies revealed that the Korean Consumer Agencies scored higher performance than their Japanese counterparts. Third, the degree of job satisfaction significantly influenced evaluation scores in both consumer counseling tasks and provision of consumer information in Korea. In Korea, among the tasks concerning consumer education, job-training education was a significant variable while the number of Korean counselors in Consumer Agencies positively influenced scores on activities concerning consumer movement and alliance with other agencies. However, the degree of job satisfaction among counselors positively and significantly influenced evaluation scores in tasks concerning consumer counseling, provision of consumers'information, and consumer education. On the other hand, the number of counselors in Japanese Consumer Centers influenced the evaluation scores on tasks concerning consumer policy, consumer survey, and consumer campaign.

지역사회 대상의 개인별 건강상담서비스 프로그램 중재 효과: 건강원스톱서비스 사업 (Effects of an Individual Health Counseling Program for Community: Health One-stop Service Program)

  • Objectives: The aim of the study was to identify the effects of a community-level individual health counseling program for community. Methods: Data included baseline demographics, blood pressure, blood sugar, waist circumference, total cholesterol and health behavior index(body mass index, dietary practice guidelines score, physical activity, high-risk drinking) collected at public health centers in Chungnam province from January to September, 2011. Data obtained from the individual health counseling program in Chungnam province were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and McNemar Test. Results: After the individual health counseling intervention, the results of health measurement index; systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, waist circumference decreased in the health risk group, while total cholesterol and waist circumference decreased in the disease management group. Health behavior change in both groups. Body mass index, moderate physical activity, dietary practice guidelines scores were improved. Conclusions: These results indicate that the individual health counseling program for community was effective in improving health behaviors and status. The results demonstrate that step-by-step counseling program development and intervention studies are needed.

HIV감염인 상담간호사의 직무역량 분석 (Analysis on Job Competencies of HIV Counseling Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify the job competencies of HIV counseling nurses and to figure out the importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency of the competencies. Methods: The job competencies were drawn from 22 HIV counseling nurses by developing new models and utilizing specialist groups. The importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency of the competencies were analyzed using the average and deviation. Results: The results of this study identified 6 job competencies such as counseling performance, expertise utilization, cooperation, support, administration, and self-development, 28 sub-competencies, and 48 job descriptions. Out of the 6 job competencies, counseling performance recorded high levels in the importance, level of difficulty, and performance frequency. Conclusion: The study results will be used as the basic data of the training programs for strengthening the job competencies of HIV counseling nurses. Furthermore, it is expected that the results will contribute to the prevention of HIV/AIDS transmission, the core of the national HIV/AIDS control programmes, and the improved health and quality of life in people living with HIV.

가정폭력 가해자 교정상담 프로그램 효과와 내용 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Effect of Corrective Counseling Programs for Domestic Violence Offenders and Its Content Analysis)

  • 본 연구는 가정폭력 가해자들을 위한 가해자 교정상담 프로그램에 대한 효과에 대하여 분석하였다. 연구내용은 전국가정폭력 상담소 가해자 교육대상자와 전국 가정폭력 상담소 협의회, 한국여성의 전화 전화연합, 한국가정법률상담소 미 전국지부와 법원위탁 가정폭력 가해자 상담기관에서 상담 받은 가정폭력 가해자들이다. 연구결과는 부모로부터 받은 아동기 학대 경험이 적을수록 교육에 효과가 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 도시에 거주하는 가해자의 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 이는 정보와 교육수준이 높아 이해력이 높기 때문이다. 셋째, 교정상담 프로그램중에서 부부상담 프로그램 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 교정상담 적용 프로그램중 여성주의 모델이 가장 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 가정폭력 가해자 교육중에 여성주의 상담과 여성주의 모델은 교정상담에 만족도에 큰 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있다.

건강가정지원센터의 조직과 운영방안 (A Study on the Organizational System and Management Strategies of Healthy Families Center)

  • This study was conducted to develop and propose a model for an organizational system and management strategies for Healthy Families Centers. As baseline research, the organization of comparable institutions such as the Social Welfare Center, Women's Development Center, Elderly Welfare Center, Child Welfare Center, and Childcare Information Center was analyzed. Based on the results of baseline research and the draft version of Healthy Families Act, this study proposed a management model for Healthy Families Centers. This proposed model suggests the city, county, and district level centers to be organized with three divisions: 1. family counseling team, 2. family education team, and 3. family life team. Concrete assignments for the teams are also proposed. Finally, a networking system for more effective management of the healthy families centers was also proposed.

지역사회 주민의 일반적 특성 및 체질량 지수에 따른 보건소 영양사업 요구도 평가 (Needs Assessment of Nutrition Programs in Public Health Center by General Characteristics and Body Mass Index of Community Residents)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the needs for nutrition programs in the public health centers by general characteristics and body mass index (BMI) of community residents. Information of general characteristics of study participants including age, education, income, marital status, residence, and job, and resident's interest in nutrition programs, the preferred educational methods and the willingness to participate in nutrition programs were collected by an interview. Weight and height were measured and were used to calculate the BMI. The program that resident's were most interested in was 'diet therapy for chronic disease and counseling' ($28.5\%$), followed by 'nutritional management for the elderly' ($21.1\%$), and 'obesity and weight control' ($17.1\%$). 'Education and counseling by nutrition professionals' was the most preferred educational method. Among the programs that the subjects would participate in, if they were offered in public health centers, $65.8\%$ subjects would participate in 'diet therapy for chronic disease and counseling' programs, $64.9\%$ would participate in 'nutritional management for the elderly' programs and $52.2\%$ would participate in 'obesity and weight control' programs. The contents of programs that the subjects were interested in, the preferred methods and their willingness to participate nutrition programs differed significantly by age, income, education, marital status, and body mass index. The results imply that the planning of nutrition interventions in the public health centers must be tailored and targeted group specific by taking the participants general characteristics and body mass index into consideration. This would surely increase the nutrition program's effectiveness

지역주민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 가정복지서비스 프로그램개발 - 대구시 주민자치센터를 중심으로- (Development of Family Life Welfare Service Program for Promoting Quality of Life of Citizens -Focused on Community Centers in Daegu City-)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the need for family life welfare service program, and to develope the program for managing in the Community Centers. The survey was conducted by interviewing 356 users and 360 non-users of Community Center, total 716 persons living in Daegu City, from October 8 to October 30 in 2002. The data were analyzed by the SPSS PC+ program applying t-test and ANOVA. The results were as follows : First, overall the needs for family life welfare service program, consisting of education program, facilities management and counseling program, and event program, was higher than 3.7 points. The needs level for event program was a little higher than other two programs. Second, the level of needs for family life welfare service program differed between user group and non-user group of the Community Centers. Third, the level of needs for family life welfare service program varied according to the demographic variables, such as sex, age, marital status, family life cycle, education level, vocation, monthly average income and housing type. Finally, Based on the results of needs analysis, 11 education programs, 4 facilities management and counseling programs and 5 event programs were developed for family life welfare service program. These programs developed in this study could be applied to diverse groups classified by age, social class, family life cycle of citizens. Also the programs should be applied in terms of family unit, as well as individual base to enhance the function of family life.
