Compensation services that are indispensable during large-scale public utilities projects have been gradually increasing with the recent increase in construction, but there are no systematic compensation services due to the complicated procedures and manual work. For this reason, various problems such as construction period delays due to various complaints, corruption in compensation work, and impossible to trace the history of compensation data in the past are emerging. In this paper, in order to solve this problem, in-depth interviews and questionnaires were conducted to find out the problems of each compensation status. Based on this, 3 core technologies and 10 technical needs based on ICT were selected to improve the compensation work by deriving STEEP analysis and Issue Tree. The three core technologies are big data-based decision-making and prediction technology, advanced measurement technology, and open cloud-based compensation platform technology. In order to introduce the derived technologies to the institutions in charge of compensation, the possibility of technology diffusion by project operators was suggested based on the results of the current status of informatization by institution. Based on the core technology derived from this paper, it is necessary to make a prototype that can be advanced in compensation work and apply it to each institution and analyze the effect.

Due to the population of the Republic of Korea is getting less, the shortage of available troops has become a big issue. In response to this, the need for Unmanned weapon systems is rising. To operate an Unmanned weapon system near borderlines or low altitude, it is necessary to protect not only the system itself but also operational information communicated between the Unmanned system and control station, so that they should be safe using Cybersecurity measures. Besides, it is critical to protect a few core technologies applied to Unmanned weapon systems throughout the Anti-Tamper measures. As the precedent studies only focus partially, Cybersecurity or Anti-Tamper, it is acknowledged that comprehensive studies are needed to be conducted. This study is to incorporate both concepts into Korea's defense acquisition process. Specifically, we will outline the concepts and needs of Cybersecurity and Anti-Tamper, and briefly present ways to apply them simultaneously.
Core position of the M2M (Machine to Machine) is device integration fusion using an emerging wireless and next internet technologies as well as IEEE 802.x, Bluetooth, Zigbee, DMB, Wibro etc. for ubiquitous environment that is complementary with IT839 strategy from Ministry of Information & Communication. This paper define and deploy about major functional requirements of M2M devices and middleware for how to it works, worldwide M2M technology trend & activities with its current & future application in manufacturing area that is called u-Manufacturing (Ubiquitous Manufacturing).
Electric Power Steering (EPS) system is superior to conventional Hydraulic Power Steering (HPS) system in aspect of fuel economy and environmental concerns. The EPS system consists of torque sensor, electric motor, ECU (Electric Control Unit), gears and etc. Among the elements, the torque sensor is one of the core technologies of which output signal is used for main input of EPS controller. Usually, the torque sensor has used torsion bar to transform torsion angle into torque and needs linear characteristic in terms of flux variation with respect to rotation angle of permanent magnet. The torsion angle of both ends of a torsion bar is measured by a contact variable resistor. In this paper, the sensor is accurately analyzed using 3D finite element method and its characteristics with respect to four different shapes of the stator teeth are compared. The four shapes are rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal and circular type.

Recently, as the requirements of several mobile products come to the front, to cope with the market needs, various mobile storage applications have appeared. Therefore, the core components and technologies for mobile optical disc drives have been developed continuously. In case of the optical storage, the small sized optical pickup is necessary to realize the mobile optical disc drive, because the optical pickup height is determined by the optical parts and an actuator. In this paper, we propose the optical pickup actuator using the horizontally arranged magnetic circuit, and apply to 5mm height Small Form-factor Optical Drive.

We look at the business model development of a fan community platform 'Weverse' from two-sided platform (TSP) to multi-sided platform (MSP) and investigate its platform business model. From the Rocket Model's theoretical perspective, the results reveal that Weverse firstly focuses on inviting artists as many as possible starting from BTS, then attracts new artists' fans naturally. For success of this TSP, it forms MSP, 'Weverse Shop' to meet two sides' relevant needs timely and filtered. In third stage of connection, various partnerships are attempted in terms of open platform strategies. For instance, by combining 'VLive' and Weverse, Naver's fan platform business is transferred to Weverse. For core transaction through direct and indirect monetization, several cobranding activities are tried. Lastly, regarding optimization, newly born Weverse being launched in the first half of 2022 is supposed to create further synergies with Naver's R&D capabilities in data, AI, and other technologies like metaverse platform 'ZEPETO' which already sells clothing items of Weverse artists.
The study aims to assess college students' perception and needs for applying virtual reality(VR) techniques to library services. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study broadly reviewed previous studies related to applying various intelligent information technology including VR techniques to the core tasks and services in the fields of library. The study also examined total 563 college students' needs and perception regarding to applying VR techniques to current library services by using the survey method. On the basis of the survey findings, the study suggested some strategies for re-educating and preparing current librarains and library workers who can utilize new intelligent information technologies and contents including VR in the fields of library.
A message processor is server software that receives non-realtime messages as well as realtime messages from clients that need to be processed within a deadline. With the recent advances of micro-processor technologies and Linux, the message processor is often implemented in Linux-based multi-core servers and it is important to use cores efficiently to maximize the performance of system in multi-core environments. Numerous research efforts on a real-time scheduler for the efficient utilization of the multi-core environments have been conducted. Typically, though, they have been conducted theoretically or via simulation, making a subsequent real-system application difficult. Moreover, many Linux-based real-time schedulers can only be used in a specific Linux version, or the Linux source code needs to be modified. This paper presents the design of a Linux-based message processor for multi-core environments that maps the threads to the cores at user level. The message processor is implemented through a modification of the traditional RM algorithm that consolidates the real-time messages into certain cores using a first-fit-based bin-packing algorithm; this minimizes the response-time delay of the non-real-time messages, while guaranteeing the violation rate of the real-time messages. To compare the performances, the message processor was implemented using the two multi-core-scheduling algorithms GSN-EDF and P-FP, which are provided by the LITMUS framework. The benchmarking results show that the response-time delay of non-real-time messages in the proposed system was improved up to a maximum of 17% to 18%.
The goal of product line engineering is to support the systematic development of a set of similar software systems by understanding and controlling their common and distinguishing characteristics. The product line engineering is a process that develops reusable core assets and develops a set of software-intensive systems from a common set of core assets in a prescribed way. Currently, many software development technologies are accomplished in context of product line. However, much of the product line engineering research have focused on the reuse of work products relating to the software's architecture, detail design, and code. The product lines fulfill the promise of tailor-made systems built specifically for the needs of particular customers or customer groups. In particular, commonality and variability play central roles in the all product line development processes. These must be treated already during the requirement analysis phase. Requirements in product line engineering are basis of software development just like as traditional system development engineering, and basis of deciding other core assets' property - commonalities and variabilities. However, it is difficult to elicit, analyze and manage correct requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to develop systematic methods which can develop and manage requirement as core asset, which can be stable in anticipative change and can be well adapted to unpredictable change. In this paper, we suggest a method of managing requirements as core asset in product line. Through this method, the reuse of domain requirements can be enhanced. As a result, the cost and time of software development can be reduced and the productivity can be increased.
