  • This study was conducted to identify the effects of fundamental nursing practice education using flipped learning on self confidence performance, academic achievement and critical thinking. The subjects of this study were 38 experimental groups and 36 control groups, who were in the second year of the department of nursing at D university, and Flip learning was applied to the experimental group for four weeks, while the existing teaching methods were applied to the control group. As a result, the academic achievement of vital signs in the experimental group after the experiment with flip learning was significantly higher than the control group (t=2.921, p=.005), but other variables were not significant. In addition, the critical thinking of the experimental group was significantly increased after the experiment than before (t=2.277 p=.029). However, it was not significant in the control group. In the future, various studies using flip learning in nursing are needed.

  • The study of Security Martial Arts is classified into nine categories; philosophy, history, education, sociology, psychology, physiology, training science, movement dynamics, and guard practice. The study of the theory and practice of Security Martial Arts should be concerned at first, for the development and progress for the future of Martial Arts. First, theoretical research that can be utilized in the real field should be performed, and such research outcomes are needed to be published as teaching materials and to be shared through various channels. Second, collaborative research of the characteristics of martial arts should be carried out. The Security Martial Arts would achieve a further development if training methods are complemented, and strengths and weaknesses of the events are fully understood. Third, studies for the independence of disciplines should be performed. The study field is derived into nine areas, and each is needed to be developed scientifically and systematically. Accompanied by sustainable study, academic autonomy of Security Martial Arts will be achieved.

  • This paper's research objective is to test educational content with different dimensions of knowledge during a graphic basic design course, while also proposing teaching plans and opinions for courses in flipped classrooms as well as enhancing educational efficiency. It categorizes educational content of courses based on the dimensions of knowledge in the learning objectives of Bloom's taxonomy. 120 students are divided into four experimental groups to respectively under go flipped classroom learning by using different dimensions of knowledge involved in course content. Course pretests and post tests are used to obtain and analyze experimental data. Among this knowledge, factual and conceptual knowledge obtained during extra curricular independent learning as well as programmed and meta-cognitive knowledge obtained during in-class learning from a flipped classroom can stimulate student's learning initiative and also enhance learning efficiency. According to research results and student feedback, this paper will propose targeted categorization methods for course content and also suggest educational strategies for these courses' flipped classroom model.

  • In this study, we investigate child-care teachers' perceptions of emerging technologies, with a particular focus on fields connected to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. More specifically, we explore how satisfied child-care teachers are with existing educational tools, whether they are interested in or willing to use the latest technology within child care, and their perceived likelihood of adopting these new technologies within child care sites. A total of 181 directors and teachers working at child care institutions in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province participated in the survey. The findings are as follows: firstly, child-care teachers were moderately satisfied with current teaching methods and their effects; secondly, child-care teachers were not especially interested in emerging technologies; thirdly, although interest in applying the latest technology to child care sites was moderately high, refusal to use this technology was also somewhat high; fourthly, many agreed that this technology would eventually become common. This study is expected to provide useful information to those planning to introduce the latest technology to child care sites and basic data to improve teacher training.

  • In the near future, as artificial intelligence and computing network technology develop, collaboration with artificial intelligence (AI) will become important. In an AI society, the ability to communicate and collaborate among people is an important element of talent. To do this, it is necessary to understand how artificial intelligence based on computer science works. An algorithmic education focused on problem solving and learning is efficient for computer science education. In this study, the results of an assessment of computational thinking at the beginning of the semester, a satisfaction survey at the end of the semester, and academic performance were compared and analyzed for 28 students who received algorithmic education focused on problem-solving learning. As a result of diagnosing students' computational thinking and problem-solving learning, teaching methods, lecture satisfaction, and other environmental factors, a correlation was found, and regression analysis confirmed that problem-solving learning had an effect on improving lecture satisfaction and computational thinking ability. For algorithmic education, if you pursue a problem-solving learning technique and a way to improve students' satisfaction, it will help students improve their problem-solving skills.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide a solution through a methodological approach so that character education can be naturally acquired in team-based learning activities. In the spring semester of 2021, a total of 69 college students in two groups were studied, and as a result of the study, the total score of character education virtues in the post-test was greatly improved in the experimental group (p<.001). The correlation between sub-items of team-based learning and pre and post-test results for character sub-items, self-regulation, consideration, communication, self-esteem, and responsibility, were statistically significant. This study shows character education through team-based learning had positive results. However, future research through a wider range of subjects is needed, and various teaching methods are being applied to propose verification of the effectiveness of character education.

  • In our technology-driven world, various methods for teaching in an educational venue or in a simulated environment have been suggested especially for computer and coding education. In particular, IoT related education has been made possible owing to the industrial developments that have occurred in various fields since the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The proposed model allows various IoT systems to be indirectly built; it provides an inexpensive learning method by applying a simulation system in a 3D environment. The model is implemented on Virtual Remote IO based on the Arduino platform, thereby reducing the cost of building an education system. In addition various education-related content can be provided to learners through such an indirectly developed system. Test code was written to check the consistency of an operation between the real system and the virtual system.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop and apply a to identify the effects of problem solving process and communication for nursing students. The subjects consisted of one group of 71 fourth year nursing students of D Colleage To test the application effect, a one group pre-post test design was applied. This study showed significantly higher problem solving process(t=-12.6, p<.001), and communication(t=-9.91, p<.001). Learning satisfaction was positively affected. Simulation program is one of the effective teaching and learning methods. It is recommended to develpo a scenario for simulation education applied various cases which are undergoing clinical testing, so as to apply it to the nursing training education.

  • The purpose of this research was examining the effects of problem-based learning strategies(PBL) on problem solving skill conducted in Korea, using meta-analysis technique. This meta-analysis reviewed the results of 41 studies published between 1998 and 2017 in Korea. The overall weighted mean effect size value was .753 with .064 standard error which was calculated by random effects model. PBL strategies have been found to be more effective in mathematics course (d=.922), art course (d=.916), practical art course (d=.827), E-PBL (d=.791) and middle school level (d=.972). As PBL exhibit a substantial effect on students' problem solving skill, it is recommended that teachers should learn how to implement these strategies in their lesson. PBL is expected to contribute to the improvement of teaching methods as the learning environment changes during the 4th Industrial Revolution.

  • In the elementary school period, since the developmental stage in the area of emotional regulation is immature, it is necessary to develop emotional regulation ability. In order to promote emotional regulation, this study provides an emotional regulation art class that utilizes the right brain function. Results were derived by analyzing through pre- and post-questions and post-interviews. As a result of the pre-post analysis, among the sub-elements of emotional regulation after class, 'Self-Emotion Recognition and Expression', 'Emotional Recognition and Consideration of Others', and 'Interpersonal Relationships' were statistically high. As a result of interview analysis, it was found that all students had a positive effect in the emotional regulation sub-item. As a result, they recognized and understood their emotions after class rather than before class, and had the effect of expressing emotions by purifying negative emotions into positive emotions. It is suggested that it is necessary to develop a program that applies various teaching and learning methods for emotional regulation art class in the future.
