  • In this paper we show the weak convergence of the linear random(multistochastic process) field generated by identically distributed 2-parameter array of associated random variables. Our result extends the result in Newman and Wright (1982) to the linear 2-parameter processes as well as the result in Kim and Ko (2003) to the 2-parameter case.

  • We obtain a result on complete convergence of weighted sums for arrays of rowwise independent Banach space valued random elements. No assumptions are given on the geometry of the underlying Banach space. The result generalizes the main results of Ahmed et al. [1], Chen et al. [2], and Volodin et al. [14].

  • The error differential equations which are derived by using the first error model are uniformly asymptotial stable if the input is bounded and sufficiently rich. In the adaptive control, the speed of convergence of system output or parameter error in such cases is of both practical and theoretical interest. In this paper, the adaptive algorithms(Gradient algorithm, Intergral algorithm) are discussed from the point of view of speed convergence and the modification of adaptive law for prohibition of overadaptation is discussed. The result is compared among this algorithms and the adaptive gain is choosed by this result(the speed of convergence).

  • In this paper, a general convergence theorem of fuzzy random variables is considered. Using this result, we can easily prove the recent result of Joo et al. (2001) and generalize the recent result of Kim(2000).

  • In this paper we obtain the complete moment convergence for an array of rowwise extended negative orthant dependent random variables. By using the result we can prove the complete moment convergence for some positively orthant dependent sequence satisfying the extended negative orthant dependence.

  • In this paper, the complete convergence and complete moment convergence for a class of random variables satisfying the Rosenthal type inequality are investigated. The sufficient and necessary conditions for the complete convergence and complete moment convergence are provided. As applications, the Baum-Katz type result and the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type strong law of large numbers for a class of random variables satisfying the Rosenthal type inequality are established. The results obtained in the paper extend the corresponding ones for some dependent random variables.

  • This study investigates empirically on the business analysis of fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service. As for the stage of empirical analysis, the process was carried out in the order elaboration of a test model, selection of sample, empirical analysis and interpretation of result. We report our Preliminary results on the fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service demand pattern forecasting by Bass model. The results show that the fixed mobile convergence telecommunication service may sustain profitability over the next ten years in the market. In conclusion, the practical implication of the result attained by this study is that in order to create a fixed mobile convergence in the korean business world, practical tools such as WiBro service is no less important than fixed service and Mobile service, and that users may be rightfully encouraged to adopt WiBro service.

  • The aim of this paper is to prove strong convergence theorem by a modified three step iterative process with errors for three nonexpansive mappings in the frame work of uniformly smooth Banach spaces. The main feature of this scheme is that its special cases can handle both strong convergence like Halpern type and weak convergence like Ishikawa type iteration schemes. Our result extend and generalize the result of S. H. Khan, Kim and Xu and many other authors.

  • A new result of weak convergence of the empirical process is established for a stationary ${\phi}-mixing$ sequence of random variables, which relaxes the existing conditions on mixing coefficients. The result is basically obtained from bounds for even moments of sums of ${\phi}-mixing$ r.v.'s useful for handling triangular arrays with entries decreasing in size.
