A Study on the Controllable Snubber for Switching Loss Reduction in Interleaved Fly-Back Converter (인터리브드 플라이 백 컨버터의 스위칭 손실 감소를 위한 제어형 스너버에 관한 연구)

  • This paper proposes a new switching algorithm for an controllable clamp snubber to improve the efficiency of a fly-back converter system. This system uses an controllable clamp method for the snubber circuit for the efficiency and reliability of the system. However, the active clamp snubber circuit has the disadvantage that system efficiency is decreased by switch operating time because of heat loss in resonance between the snubber capacitor and leakage inductance. To address this, this paper proposes a new switching algorithm. The proposed algorithm is a technique to reduce power consumption by reducing the resonance of the snubber switch operation time. Also, the snubber switch is operated at zero voltage switching by turning on the snubber switch before main switch turn-off. Experimental results are presented to show the validity of the proposed controllable clamp control algorithm.

  • In this paper, a novel type of auxiliary switched capacitor assisted edge resonant soft switching PWM resonant DC-DC converter with two simple auxiliary commutation lossless inductor snubbers is presented. The operation principle of this converter is described using the switching mode equivalent circuits. This newly developed multi resonant DC-DC converter can regulate its DC output AC power under a principle of constant frequency edge-resonant soft switching commutation by an asymmetrical PWM duty cycle control scheme. The high frequency power regulation and actual power characteristics of the proposed soft switching PWM resonant DC-DC converter are evaluated and discussed. The operating performances of the newly proposed soft switching inverter are represented based on simulation results from an applications point of view.

  • This paper describes a single pulse-width modulation control strategy using the Single Pulse-Width Modulation (SPWM) method with a soft-switching technique for a wide range of output voltages from a bidirectional Dual-Active Bridge (DAB) converter. This method selects two typical inductor current waveforms for soft-switching, and proposes a rule that makes it possible to achieve soft-switching without any compensation algorithm from the waveforms. In addition, both the step-up and step-down conditions are analyzed. This paper verifies that the leakage inductance is independent from the rule, which makes it easier to apply in DAB converters. An integrated algorithm, which includes step-up and step-down techniques, is proposed. The results of experiments conducted on a 50-kW prototype are presented. The system efficiency is experimentally verified to be from 85.6% to 97.5% over the entire range.

  • This paper describes on thinning SDB SOI substrates by SDB technology and electrochemical etch-stop. The surface of the fabricated SDB SOI substrates is more uniform than that grinding or polishing by mechanical method, and this process is possible to accurate SOI thickness control. During Electrochemical etch-stop, leakage current versus voltage curves were measured for analysis of the open current potential (OCP) point and the passivation potential (PP) poin and determinated to anodic substrates were analyzed by using AFM and SEM, respectivelv.

  • Direct drive servovalve(DDV) is a kind of one-stage valve since the rotary motion of DC motor is directly transferred to the linear motion of valve spool through the link. Since the structure of DDV is simple, it is less expensive, more reliable and offers reduced internal leakage and reduced sensitivity to fluid contamination. However, the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant such that it induces large steady-state error in a step response. If the proportional control gain is increased to reduce the steady-state error, the system becomes unstable. In order to satisfy the system design requirements, the classical controller is designed using the analytical Bode method.

  • Pulpal inflammation is a kind of neurogenic inflammation and it shows vascular changes such as vasodilation and changes in vascular leakage. Various kinds of neuropeptides including substance P (SP) are known to be involved in the pulpal inflammation. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of NK1 receptor antagonists on the pulpal blood flow (PBF) when applied iontophoretically through the dentinal cavity of the teeth in order to understand whether iontophoretic ally applied NK1 receptor antagonists can control the pulpal inflammation.(omitted)

  • All artificial infernal organs which are using electric energy supply energy with inductive couple. Transcutaneous energy transmission system enhance survival chance of the patients and quality of life by reducing volume and mass. In this research, we used both tune in transmission system in state of fixing cycle in order to increase the voltage gain and the current gain and to reduce effect of leakage inductance. Also to maximize the effect of resonance, a constant frequency duty cycle control method is used. Test is progressed with litz wire which is set up with various sizes of core to minimize size of converter. This research aimed in analysis of transcutaneous energy transmission system and in measuring of stability and efficiency of Lithium-ion battery charge which are using transmitted energy.

  • DID(Decentralized Identity Identification) is a system in which users voluntarily manage their identity, etc., and control the scope and subject of submission of identity information based on a block chain. In the era of the 4th industrial revolution, where the importance of protecting personal information is increasing day by day, DID will surely be positioned as the industrial center of the Internet and e-business. However, when managing personal information, DID is highly likely to cause a large amount of personal information leakage due to electronic infringement, such as hacking and invasion of privacy caused by the concentration of user's identity information on global service users. Therefore, there are a number of challenges to be solved before DID settles into a stable standardization. Therefore, in this paper, we try to examine what problems exist in order to positively apply the development of DID technology, and analyze the improvement plan to become a stable service in the future.

  • The purpose of this paper analyzes and studies to improve the failure cases on the computer that one of electronic control elements for engine in liquified petroleum gas vehicle. The first case, it certified the non-starting phenomenon of engine that it's electronic control unit didn't control the fuel for idle speed actuator because of no given action signal in slow-cut solenoid valve. The second case, it knew the bad condition phenomenon of engine and back-fire by the wire melting of ignition coil and firing of transistor being inside ECU. The third case, it certified the action stoping phenomenon of engine and malfunctioning signal for engine ECU because of leakage of current and an excess current by moisture inflowing inside ECU curcuit plate. Therefore, it is thought that will elevate the durability and reliability of engine computer throughout procure of quality.
