내부그라우팅으로 미세균열이 보수된 철근콘크리트 시공이음부의 역학적 특성에 관한 연구 (Mechanical Behavior of Construction Joints in Reinforced Concrete Structures Filled Internally with Cement Pastes)

  • Grouting internally with grout materials can repair the micro-cracks and micro-voids of construction joints more efficiently than injecting grouts from the surface of cracks. A new internal grouting method using perforated bundled-cables was developed in this study to enhance the structural integrity of the construction joints. The extensive experiments were performed to examine the mechanical behavior of construction joints which are repaired internally by the developed method. The tests were conducted for rectangular-shaped box wall structures and straight wall structures. The strength and permeability tests at grouted construction joints were conducted to evaluate the structural behavior of repaired construction joints. The present study indicates that the internal grouting method developed in this study enhances greatly the performance of construction joints and may be efficiently used for the leak-tight integrity of construction joints in concrete structures.

CMOS Inverter Design based on Double Gate Ultra-Thin Body MOSFETs

  • Ultra-thin body transistor is one of the emerging devices since it control leakage current flows through substrate. In addition, it can be operated by double gates, thus, its on/off current ratio is higher than conventional counterpart. In this paper, we design and investigate a CMOS inverter based on ultra-thin body MOSFETs to estimate its performance in real application. NEGF (non-equilibrium Green's function) method is used to obatain relationship between drain current and voltage. DC transfer is extracted from the relationship, and FO4 (fanout-of-4) propagation delay is reported as 5.1 ps estimated by a simple model.

표면조직 가공한 유압부품면에서의 윤활특성 (Lubrication Characteristics of Surface Textured Hydraulic Machine Components)

  • Friction reduction between sliding hydraulic machine components is required to improve efficiency and reliability of hydraulic machineries. It is recently reported that surface texturing on sliding bearing surfaces can reduce the friction force highly. In this paper, numerical analysis is carried out to investigate the effect of dimple numbers and inlet boundary pressures on the lubrication characteristics of a parallel sliding bearing using a commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, FLUENT. The results show that the pressure distribution, load capacity, dimensionless friction force and leakage with dimple number and their locations, and inlet pressures. The overall lubrication characteristics are highly affected by dimple numbers and boundary pressure. The numerical method adopted and results can be used in design of efficient hydraulic machine components.

  • The heat of hydration of cement the causes the internal temperature rise at early age, particulary in massive concrete structures such as a mat-slab of nuclear reactor building or a dam or a large footing. As the result of the temperature rise and restraint of foundation, the thermal stress enough to induce concrete cracks can occur. Therefore, the prediction of the thermal stress is very important in the design and construction stages in order to control the cracks developed in massive concrete structures. And, more creep and shrinkage take place at elevated temperatures in young concrete, Thus the effect of creep and shrinkage must be considered for checking the safety and servicebility(crack, durability and leakage).

  • USB 메모리에 의한 정보유출 악성코드 유입 등에 대한 방어를 위해 다양한 복사방지 장치제어와 같은 보안기술들이 지속적으로 연구 개발 되고 있다. 하지만, 지난 2014년 Black Hat Security Conference에서 USB의 새로운 취약성으로 제시된 BadUSB에 대해서는 치명적 보안결함으로 인식되고 있음에도 불구하고 대응책이 미흡한 실정이다. 이를 개선하기 위해, BadUSB로 인한 취약성을 대상으로, 기술적 제도적 관리적 측면의 대응방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 무전극 플라즈마 램프 구동용 연속펄스발진 마그네트론의 전원장치에 대하여 기술하였다. 제안한 전원장치는 역률개선회로, 직렬 공진형 ZVS 하프브리지 인버터, 고압누설변압기 및 IGBT 제어회로로 구성하였다. 시뮬레이션결과로부터 인버터 운전주파수 가변에 의해 마그네트론의 입력전력을 최대 33.3%까지 조절할 수 있었다.

  • Direct drive servovalve(DDV) is a kind of one-stage valve because the main spool valve is directly driven by the DC motor. Since the structure of DDV is simple, it is less expensive, more reliable and offers reduced internal leakage and reduced sensitivity to fluid contamination. However, the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant such that it induces large steady-state error in a step response. If the proportional control gain is increased to reduce the steady-state error, the system becomes unstable. In order to satisfy the system design requirements, the lead-lag controller is designed using the complex method that is one kind of constrained direct search method.

Analysis of Electromigration in Nanoscale CMOS Circuits

  • As CMOS technology is scaled down more aggressively, the reliability mechanism (or aging effect) caused by the diffusion of metal atoms along the conductor in the direction of the electron flow, also called electromigration (EM), has become a major reliability concern. With the present of EM, it is difficult to control the current flows of the MOSFET device and interconnect. In addition, nanoscale CMOS circuits suffer from increased gate leakage current and power consumption. In this paper, the EM effects on current of the nanoscale CMOS circuits are analyzed. Finally, this paper introduces an on-chip current measurement method providing lifetime electromigration management which are designed using 45-nm CMOS predictive technology model.

  • 본 논문에서 전극간 표면누설에 의한 탄화도전로의 형성과 방향성에 대해 연구하였다. 표면에서 트래킹의 특성은 노출된 충전부사이에서 절연파괴되었다. 고속카메라시스템을 이용하여 전극간 방전과 지락, on/off 서어지에서 발생되는 아크성장 메커니즘을 촬영하고, 결과를 분석하였다. 향후 아크제어를 통한 에너지 이용기술의 적용이 기대된다.

  • When The temperature of the joining of SCR rises major changes of characteristics are increase of leakage current, decrease of break-down voltage, and increase of turn off time. Because these changes promote the inferiority of SCR it(SCR) will get out of control and its life time will be shortened and finally it will be destroyed. In this paper, we will measure the changes of the characteristics in accordance with a rise in temperature. On the basis of the result we will find out the appropriate time to change SCR and we will use the result for the maintenance of SCR and increase of reliability of SCR.
