In this paper, some best proximity points results for 𝜓-𝜙-contractions on complete metric spaces are proved. These results extend and generalize some best proximity and fixed point results on complete metric spaces. An example and some corollaries are provided that demonstrate the results proved herein.

We establish a coincidence and a common fixed point result for four mappings involving a (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractive condition type on a complete metric space. We take on ${\psi}$ and ${\varphi}$ the same conditions given by Popescu [Fixed points for (${\psi}$, ${\varphi}$)-weak contractions, Appl. Math. Lett. 24 (2011), 1-4].

Approximate fixed point property problem for Mann iteration sequence of a nonexpansive mapping has been resolved on a Banach space independent of uniform (strict) convexity by Ishikawa [Fixed points and iteration of a nonexpansive mapping in a Banach space, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 59 (1976), 65-71]. In this paper, we solve this problem for a class of mappings wider than the class of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings on an arbitrary normed space. Our results generalize and extend several known results.

Myofascial pain is a condition associated with regional pain and muscle tenderness characterized by the presence of myofascial trigger points. In this case report, a subject complaining of nighttime bruxism was clinically assessed, and a latent trigger point of the anterior temporalis muscle was identified with manual palpation. A surface electromyographic (SEMG) exam of the anterior temporalis muscle harboring the latent trigger point demonstrated several SEMG features, including post-contraction irritability, delayed relaxation following contraction and accelerated muscle fatigue. It was concluded that a SEMG exam may detect abnormal masticatory muscle function and, therefore, assist in the evaluation of myogenous temporomandibular disorders.

For pain relief my collegue and I used thin acupuncture needles as electrodes in electric stimulation. The needles were inserted into a trigger point and into another point located in the same muscle instead of meridian points of electro-acupuncture. Low frequency electric stimulation was given through the needles to 130 patients for 15 min. The results were as follows In 25 acute sprain patients electric stimulation was given $3.14{\pm}1.12$ times and the pain was reduced on the average by $83.00{\pm}6.77%$ (VAS). In 45 chronic sprain patients electric stimulation was given $5.51{\pm}1.38$ times and the pain was reduced on the average by $70.22{\pm}8.98%$ (VAS). In 28 myofascial pain syndrome patients electric stimulation was given $6.22{\pm}1.25$ times and the pain was reduced on the average by $66.48{\pm}8.75$(%). In 7 muscle contraction headache patients electric stimulation was given $4.14{\pm}1.57$ times and the pain was reduced on the average by $75.00{\pm}9.57%$ (VAS). In 25 radiculopathy patients electric stimulation was given $4.73{\pm}1.131$ times and the pain was reduced on the average by $21.37{\pm}9.31%$ (VAS). We he conclude that electric stimulation therapy using acupuncture needles is very effective in acute sprain, chronic sprain, myofascial pain syndrome and muscle contraction headache. Any doctor with knows anatomy and trigger points can practice this method without studying oriental medicine or difficult acupuncture techniques.

Nepal is a country of mountains The higher order geodetic points were mostly established on the top of mountains and these points were used for the geodetic network extension. Lower order geodetic control networks were established at different times and used for the surveying and mapping activities of the country.. It has been found that the rate of convergence between north and south borders of Nepal to be 21${\pm}$2 mm each year and the rate translation of Kathmandu to 55${\pm}$3 mm/year to the plates. The most intense deformation in Nepal occurs along the belt of high mountains along its northern border res ulting in a strain contraction rate normal to the Himalayan Arc. This belt is approximately 40 km wide and extends into southern Tibet.( 13). Recently Survey Department of Nepal has lunched a program of strengthening the existing geodetic network of Nepal and re-observed the position of higher order geodetic points by using geodetic GPS receivers to evaluate their position and thus to define the precision of the control points once again. This paper describes the observation procedure and the adjustment results of the existing higher order control network of Nepal established in different time using different types of equipment and techniques; and highlights the observation procedure and the result obtained after the post processing of the GPS observation results. Attempt has been made to give the procedure and identify the methodology for the re observation of existing higher order geodetic points by using GPS receiver and post processing the observed data so that the existing higher order geodetic points are within the given accuracy standard.

Objectives : Through the comparative study on cases of acupuncture therapy in Sanhanlun(傷寒論), it would be expected to comprehend the theory of acupuncture for external contraction(外感). Methods : It has been done to analyse provisions of Sanghanlun, Hwangdineijing(黃帝內經), Nanjing(難經) related with acupuncture, and to compare the symptoms reported in Hwangdimingtangjing(黃帝明堂經) to Shanghanlun. Results : Most symptoms of the acupuncture points in Shanghanlun correspond with those in Hwangdimingtangjing. Visceral manifestation theory could explain the reason why some acupuncture points in Shanghanlun were selected, but Meridian theory could in 1 case only. Some provisions show that acupuncture was treated to increase the effect of medicines and the others to replace medicines. Conclusions : The main principle to select acupuncture in Shanghanlun were the effectiveness of each point and visceral manifestation. Acupuncture was tried to increase or replace the effect of medicines.

The concepts of new classes of mappings are introduced in the spaces which are more general space than the usual metric spaces. The existence and uniqueness of common fixed points and fixed point results are established in the setting of complete complex valued b-metric spaces. An illustration is given by establishing the existence of solution of periodic differential equations in the framework of a complete complex valued b-metric spaces.

The histological structures of Buxus koreana were studied by cross section and compared with those of Buxus koreana var. elongata, B. koreana var. insularis, B. microphylla subsp. sinica (Taiwan) and B. liukiuensis(Okinawa). Many different points showed that B. koreana var. insularis is similar to B. microphylla subsp. sinica while B. koreana to B. liukiuensis. The extracts of Buxus koreana by three solvents are as follows: ether ext. 3.34%, dilute alcohol ext. 16.98%, water ext. 11.67%. The total alkaloid of Buxus koreana is approximately 0.01%. The general pharmacological effects of dilute alcohol ext. of Buxus koreana were studied and the following conclusions were obtained. Contraction of excised uterus of rabbit was augmented by treatment of dilute alcohol ext. Motility of excised intestine of rabbit was stopped for a moment and stimulated at once by treatment of dilute alcohol ext.

From the study on the relation of O-mi(五味) and Sam-Eum-Sam-Yang(三陰三陽), the conclusion is as follows. The system of Sam-Eum-Sam-Yang(三陰三陽) in human body expresses a kind of inner images[象] of continuous life, that implies many complex view-points, in both inside and out-side according to time flow. Besides, O-mi(五味) is one of very important native properties of all existences, that is accepted from the state they have been located in, and it includes the principles of real nature. Based on understanding of Sam-Eum-Sam-Yang(三陰三陽), when we investigate properties of O-mi(五味) for practical use, the concepts of contraction and extension[收散], softening and hardening[軟堅], and slowing and fastening[緩急], referred in Naegyeong(內經), directly express the images of Sam-Eum-Sam-Yang(三陰三陽).
