The mobile telecommunication service industry plays major role of the realization to the perfect information society in the 21st century and has a great influence in society and culture. The government has enticed the mobile company to keep up to make the mobile service fee low. In this situation, this paper estimates consumer surplus and price elasticity with on-line survey data from the consumer of mobile service. The total estimated consumer surplus of the market is reached to 6.43trillion won. The consumer surplus from SKT is estimated to 4.98trillion won and 1.66trillion won and 0.67trillion won was made by KTF and LGT respectively. The result also shows that consumer surplus is expected to be increased by the increase of the mobile service demand and the sales.
Convergence between technology and financial services is ubiquitous and widespread. Virtual banks represent an important aspect of financial markets that can generate value added for consumers and enhance the quality of financial services. This study explores the effect of innovation characteristics (relative advantage, compatibility, and perceived risk), consumer characteristics (status quo bias), and social mechanisms (network externality: complementarity, numbers of peers) on consumers' adoption intention and resistance to virtual banks. This study adopted an innovation resistance model with two dependent variables: adoption intention and resistance to virtual banks. An online self-administered survey was conducted and 532 or non-users of virtual banks aged 20 to 69 years old were analyzed. Frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, and hierarchical multiple regression indicated that status quo bias, relative advantage, perceived risk, complementarity, and number of peers insignificantly influence the adoption intention regarding virtual banks. Furthermore, status quo bias, relative advantage, perceived risk, and number of peers insignificantly influence the resistance to virtual banks. Female respondents have a lower adoption intention and higher resistance to virtual banks than male respondents. The findings suggest that the innovation resistance model can be useful in understanding consumers'adoption and resistance behavior as well as reveal that innovation characteristics, consumer characteristics, and social mechanism are important antecedent variables of the innovation adoption decision.
Purpose: A good physical appearance greatly affects a person's self-confidence, especially when the media constantly depicts that beautiful men and women are those with perfect bodies, which later forms the perception that being fat or too thin is not attractive. That is in line with the increasing knowledge and the need for nutritious foods and drinks for diets. Therefore, this study aims to see whether there is a relationship between the Weight Rejuvenation Program Everyday product innovation towards millennial purchase decision and the motivation of having an ideal body as a moderating effect. Research design, data, and methodology: Distributed online Google form questionnaires to 96 audiences who commented on "Mute" web series. The respondents consisted of 63 women and 33 men from the millennial generation who lived in Greater Jakarta and were classified as the middle to upper economic class. After all of the data were collected, they were processed using Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares. Results: Product innovation had a significant influence on the purchasing decisions of the millennial consumer, but motivation did not have the moderating function in the relationships between product innovation and purchase decision. Conclusions: The main factor for product innovation that can be accepted by millennials is the product quality that remains good.
The purpose of this research is to investigate success factors and strategics of convergence products in Korea. The research based on existing literature regarding the innovation resistance and product bundling, examines the factors influencing consumer responses to convergence products. The research scheme was experimented through a questionnaire survey answered by 128 companies. The research model was composed of 4 groups: 1) consumer innovativeness, 2) perceived usefulness and ease of use, 3) perceived risk, 4) new product risk The results of this research reveal that consumer evaluation(consumer satisfaction and purchase intentions) are affected by consumer perceptions of risk, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, new product risk.

This study examines factors influencing nonusers' resistance to the adoption of the metaverse, focusing on propagation mechanisms. It elucidates the role of innovation resistance within the metaverse adoption process. We applied the Innovation Resistance Model in the context of the metaverse and considers three major groups of factors influencing resistance to the metaverse: innovation characteristics (perceived usefulness, compatibility, perceived risk, and complexity), consumer characteristics (personal innovativeness), and propagation mechanisms (mass media, online media, and personal communication). An online survey of college students who do not use the metaverse revealed that perceived usefulness, compatibility, personal innovativeness, and online media were negative predictors of resistance to the metaverse. Conversely, perceived risk, mass media, and personal communication were positive predictors of resistance to the metaverse. Furthermore, innovation resistance was found to play a mediating role in the metaverse adoption process. Drawing upon the findings, we suggested marketing strategies to decrease resistance to the metaverse.
This study investigated whether the model attributes of VR Ads (3D effect, presence, Dynamics, Amusement) affect the attitude of the advertising. We also examined the mediating role of consumer's innovation in the model attributes and advertising attitude of VR advertisements. To do this, VR equipment was used to induce real advertisers to experience advertisements. The causal relationship between variables was examined through covariance structure analysis. The results are as follows. First, all independent variables of the VR advertising model have a positive effect on the consumer's innovation. Second, the 3D effect, Amusement of the VR advertising model have a positive effect on the attitude of the advertising. Third, the effects of the VR advertising model on all variables are mediated by the consumer's innovation of the VR advertisement. The results of this study provide implications for understanding the characteristics of VR Ads.
This study examined consumer attitudes and intentions to participate in reward-based crowdfunding projects for fashion products. We focused on consumer innovation, price sensitivity, conformity, and consumer values as factors that might influence such attitudes and intentions. A survey was conducted with 228 individuals aged 18 years and older who are aware of or have had experience using crowdfunding. Respondents were asked to answer questions based on the example of actual fashion crowdfunding projects. To analyze the data, reliability tests, the generation of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and multiple regression were performed using SPSS 25.0. The results revealed that consumer innovativeness, non-conforming tendency, and emotional, quality, social, and ethnical consumer values had a significant influence on attitudes, which in turn affected intentions to participate in crowdfunding. Consumer innovativeness, price sensitivity, emotional value, and social value also had a direct influence on intentions to participate. In addition to its academic contribution, this study has important marketing implications for project initiators striving to identify and understand consumers who are willing to participate in reward-based crowdfunding for fashion products.
Purpose The purpose of this study is to investigate the resistance factors interfering the acceptance factors of the mobile easy remittance service focusing on the switching cost and the innovation resistance model. Design/methodology/approach This study focuses on revealing the resistance factors of the mobile easy remittance service acceptance. The resistance factor is designed consisting both consumer characteristics and service characteristics in the Innovation Resistance Model. Furthermore, the effect of resistance factors on the innovation resistance and acceptance intentions were detected by moderating the switching cost. Findings According to the empirical analysis result, this study investigated the effect of resistance factors on innovation resistance and acceptance intention for the mobile easy remittance service. The results of this study as follows; (1) The consumer's inherent innovativeness did not significantly affect the innovation resistance and acceptance intention. (2) The attitude toward existing services and complexity significantly affected innovation resistance in direct manner, thus affecting the acceptance intention in indirect manner. (3) The perceived usefulness significantly affected both the innovation resistance and the acceptance intention in direct manner. (4) The perceived risk only effected the acceptance intention. (5) The switching cost had a moderating effect on the innovation resistance and acceptance intention.

The global laundry detergents market in 2021 was valued at nearly $121 billion, with consumers being reported as heightening their search for hygienic products capable of fighting viruses. Therefore, the researchers undertook a study to determine how product innovation (PI), product quality (PQ), and product attitude (PA) effects Thai consumers' satisfaction (CS) with their purchase of laundry detergent and fabric softener. After the questionnaire's validity and reliability confirmation, the authors used multi-stage random sampling by region and province in January and February 2022 to collect 520 questionnaires. LISREL 9.10 was used in the CFA and SEM analysis of the six hypotheses, which were determined to be supported. The results showed that all three causal variables positively influenced CS, with a total effect (TE) R2 value = 87%. Also, latent variable total effect (TE) values showed that PI was strongest (0.93), then PQ (0.56), and finally, PA (0.54). Therefore, consumer satisfaction is essential in a firm's ongoing development and sustainability in a highly competitive, globalized world. Organizations must develop competitive strategies that adjust to consumer needs. Management must monitor online and social media sources where product reviews are given and adjust their strategies accordingly.

The purpose of this research is to understand the general consumer knowledge and adoption intention of nanotechnology products, one of the advanced scientific fields. We examined consumers' knowledge of innovation products based on nanotechnology, by gender and age group, which are divided into benefits, cost, and trust perception. As a result, the benefits were highly perceived in the order of perceived usefulness, perceived gains, and perceived ease of use. In general, it was found that men and older age group perceived the benefits of nanotechnology to be relatively higher than women and younger age groups did. In terms of cost, perceived risk was relatively higher than other variables and a high innovation resistance appeared in the younger 30s group. Finally, we found that trust for nano-related institution is relatively lower than trust for nano-related people and trust for nanotechnology itself.
