The participants of this study were 16 mothers who lived apart from their partners for the purpose of educating their offspring. To collect data, in-depth interviews were conducted with the mothers about the decision-making process and the separation experiences. The results showed that there was a unique educational factor in Korea that affected wild geese families' decision on family separation. Geese families had to face psychological inconvenience caused by negative eyes from society. In addition, the fathers suffered loneliness and had difficulties in doing household chores, and the mothers experienced an overload of child parenting. On the other hand, emotional relationship between the husband and wife was enhanced, and the friendly relationship between a mother and her children was built. The biggest reward from the wild geese families turned out to be the educational achievement of their children.

The data extracted from the articles published in JKSC/IJCF and the college education curricula from 2006 to 2015 were examined to compare the result with the trend for the last 30 years of JKSC/IJCF research trend and education curricular based on the previous research. The results indicated that more than 70% of research was focused on consumer- oriented subject, such as consumer decision making process and consumer behavior, while more than 70% of education program was directed on firm-oriented subject, such as merchandising and marketing management. These results implied a slight shift for the academic research from consumer to firm oriented when comparing the result with the last 30 years of data, although the education was reclined conversely. The academic research and education program should be related in order to provide fashion industries with well educated human resources.

Considering the characteristics of clothing as a consumer goods, situational influences on clothing purchase behavior were expected to be significant. As the theoretical backgrounds of situational influences on clothing purchase behavior, this study was to propose the definition of sitution in Clothing & Textiles department, and to suggest the types of situational variables affecting clothing purchase process in consideration of the results of consumer behavior research and the research related to clothing. The results of this study suggested that the definition of situation, subjective situation or objective situation, should be adjusted to the purpose of research, and that the types of situations affecting clothing purchase process might be defined into three types; wearing situation, communication situation, and purchasing situation. It was also suggested that the empirical studies would be necessary to verify the results, and the conceptual framework for the types of situations and the personality characteristics related to the clothing purchase situation should be identified.

  • Purpose - Generally, the consumer's decision-making process for restaurant selection is simple and familiar. However, online information becomes important because the decision-making process of consumers becomes complicated in new restaurants and special situations. Because consumers can search for information online, information retrieval is now possible in selecting new restaurants. In particular, consumers often make decisions based on online information when making restaurant reservations. Research design, data, and methodology - All items were measured based on previous studies. The data were collected from customers who had visited the store by visiting the web page of the food service franchise within the last 3 months for the panel of the online survey institute. The questionnaires were surveyed from July 2 to July 11, 2018 for about 10 days. A mail and a message were sent to 2,000 people, and 310 people were asked to complete the questionnaire. Total of 303 data were used in the questionnaire, excluding 7 insufficient data. Results - The findings of this study are as follows: Consensus, vividness, and neutrality have positive effects on enjoyment. Consensus have positive effect on anxiety, but vividness and neutrality did not have significant effect on anxiety. Also, enjoyment has a positive influence on intention to visit, and anxiety has a negative influence on visit intention. Conclusions - First, franchise companies online advertising in a variety of ways, but they are mixed with other customers' WOM and offered to consumers. In this case, the information provided by the company may be distorted. Therefore, a restaurant franchise company needs to operate an official online channel to provide accurate information to its customers. Second, it is necessary to make contents so that other customers can participate in online channels of food service franchise companies. Third, food service franchise company should produce enough online contents to experience indirectly even if the customer does not visit the store directly. Fourth, food service franchise company needs to prepare a way for many customers to participate in many official contents.

  • Because of rapid evolution of software technique, numerous software professionals have been concerned with component based development methodologies. However, it is hard to find out a systematic technique for the selection of COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) component in consumer position. Up to date, the major of component quality evaluation is object-oriented metric based evaluation methodology. But this paper present four step process and evaluation criteria based on MCDM (Multiple Criteria Decision Making) technique for optimal COTS component selection in consumer position. We considered funtionality, efficiency, usability based on IS0/IEC 9126 for Quality measurement and executed practical analysis about commercial EJB component in internet. This paper show that the proposed selection technique is applicable to optimal COTS component selection.

The research questionnaires selected from the pilot study were administered to 547 female subjects in the age of twenties. The dissatisfaction factors identified as a result of the factor analysis were as follows: (1) 'price' factor ($21.6\%$ of the total explained variance), (2) 'product assortment' factor ($21.5\%$), (3) 'purchase decision-making' factor ($19.9\%$), (4) 'quality' factor ($18.6\%$), (5) 'information and service' factor ($18.4\%$). By these five factors, the $34.7\%$ of the total variance were explained. The factors were validated by the multiple regression analysis. The purchase decisionmaking factor has the greatest explanatory power suggests that psychological aspects are more important to clothing dissatisfaction than any other objective aspects. The relationships between the dissatisfaction factors and the selected variables were found to be as follows: 1) The higher clothing importance scores, the higher product assortment related dissatisfaction score. 2) The higher the purchase price, the lower the price related dissatisfaction, but the higher the product assortment related dissatisfaction scores. 3) The department store and the national brand chain store shoppers had higher product assortment related dissatisfaction compared to the small retail store and discount store shoppers.

  • Since the supply and demand of agricultural products are unstable, which causes instability in farm income and consumer prices, the government has sought to mitigate the problems caused by unstable supply and demand by generating and providing agricultural outlook information. However, research should be carried out to increase the quality and utilization of agricultural observation information, because the value of agricultural observation information increases only when more users use this information and apply it to their decisions. In this study, a survey was conducted targeting producers and experts who are users or potential users of agricultural outlook information, and the results were analyzed through quantitative model, specifically importance-performance analysis (IPA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP). The results show that improvement of promptness was required among the seven items evaluated with regard to agricultural outlook. Also, measures for dissemination of agricultural outlook information and the contents of outlook information should be improved to increase its use. If the quality level and use of agricultural observation information are increased by reflecting the results of the above analysis, decision-making on the supply and demand of agricultural products in Korea will be improved, and it is thought that it will be possible to increase farm household income and stabilize consumer prices through stabilization of supply and demand of agricultural products.
