  • 현재 국내에서는 많은 경제성장과 생활여건의 개선에 따라 기존주택의 재건축과 재개발이 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 국내에서 발생하는 폐기물중 건설폐기물이 차지하는 비중은 점점 더 커져가고 있다. 따라서 정부나 민간에서는 건설폐기물의 발생량을 줄이기 위해 많은 노력을 하고 있다. 그러나 건설폐기물의 발생량을 정확히 예측하고 관리하기 위한 시스템의 개발에 대한 노력은 거의 없는 실정이다. 폐기물의 발생량을 예측하기 위한 기준의 미비로 인해 많은 사회적비용이 발생하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공동주택을 대상으로 건설폐기물의 발생량을 쉽게 예측할 수 있는 방안을 제시한다. 그 방법으로는 원단위 할용, CAD도면의 활용, 3D object의 활용과 같이 현장여건에 따라 적절한 방법을 선택하여 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 모듈은 사용자의 사용 목적에 따라 개별 모듈별로 사용하는 것이 가능하도록 구성하였다.

  • In this study, recently it is urgently required that recycle promotion of construction and demolition waste concrete because urban development is accelerated and redevelopment project is rapidly expanded, production quantity of construction and demolition waste concrete is being increased. On the other hand, it is urgently required that problem solution of demand and supply unbalance of fine aggregate because the sea sand is restricted by exhaustion of river sand and intensification of environment influence evaluation. Therefore, it tries to conform in time necessity, there is the objective of this study to provide the fundamental data about the re-application as the comparison and analysis the quality present condition for the recycled fine aggregate in the inside and outside of the country. At the same time it will be able to improve the quality of the recycled fine aggregate waste as investigating the physical nature and a quality present condition of the recycled fine aggregate from construction waste.

  • 향후 국내의 주택건설 산업은 신규 택지개발에 의한 주택공급 방식보다는 기존 주택의 재개발 및 재건축에 더 큰 비중을 둘 수밖에 없으며, 현재 그러한 추세가 급속하게 확산되고 있다. 또한 재고주택 중 공동주택이 50% 이상을 차지하고 있으며, 이들의 유지보수, 리모델링 및 재건축은 주거지의 슬럼화 방지, 건물성능 저하에 따른 재난방지 등을 위하여 반드시 필요한 분야가 되었다. 따라서 이러한 재개발 재건축 등의 활성화로 인하여 도심지 해체공사가 증가함에 따라 건설폐기물의 발생량이 대폭 증가하고 있다. 따라서 건설폐기물의 적정관리는 매우 중요한 사항이 되어 가고 있으나, 발생 폐기물을 정확히 예측하기 위한 연구가 부족하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 공동주택의 해체물량을 정확히 예측할 수 있는 건설폐기물 원단위 산정 기준을 제시한다. 이것은 해체공사시 발생 가능한 건설폐기물을 손쉽고 정확히 예측할 수 있으며, 이것은 국가 폐기물 정책에 매우 중요한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently, the amount of the construction and demolition wastes has rapidly increased due to increasing construction projects. In the past, most of the construction and demolition wastes were buried in the ground of thrown away. Illegally, without any treatment, so various harmful environmental pollution problems were occurred. In this study, the domestic data on the amount of the construction and demolition wastes and the disposal methods were collection and analysed. Specially, the recycling and management systems of the construction and asphalt concrete wastes were studied. A new technology and necessary policy for recycling were suggested. In general, the industrial wastes were produced in the particular place, and the amount and the characteristics of the wastes able to be estimated by the studies on the treatment technology. And the investment of the facilities for the industrial wastes have been made continuously. But little attention has been relatively given to the treatment technology. And system for the construction and demolition wastes for the political support and facilitation on the proper treatment and the recycling, the necessary of information exchange system and the manifest system for treatment of waste on commission were recommended, and also devised methods to develope and support the recycling industry. In the future, the subject of study is going to carry out analysis of economic and market in making products.

경제적 효율성 측면에서 건축물 구조를 고려한 해체폐기물의 재활용가능성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimating Recycling Potential of Demolition Waste Generated in End-of-Life of Buildings by Structural Type Considering Economic Efficiency)

  • This study investigates the recycling potential of demolition waste (DW) according to building structure, while considering economic aspects. For that, this study surveyed 1,034 residential buildings to collect reliable information on demolition waste generation rates (DWGRs). This study suggested a method for operational cost calculation for each stage and carried out an inventory analysis. The economic value of recycled DW materials was also calculated. And then, the recycling potential(RP) was calculated by building structures and waste types. RP by building structure was low (27-40%), and RP was found in the order of masonry-block, wooden, RC and concrete-brick. By type of DWs, the RP of aggregates was considerably lower than 7%, and DWs such as wood, plastics, and metals showed more than 100% RP. Considering the results of this study, In order to improve the RP of buildings and DWs, the diversification of products that recycled waste like aggregates (i.e., mortar, concrete, bricks, blocks, tiles) and the development of high value-added products are considered to be the most urgent problems. Based on the above RP results, this study proposed a more advanced method for life cycle assessment of buildings and demolition waste.

  • In this study, recently it is urgently required that demolition waste concrete has to be recycled on the construction because urban development is accelerated and redevelopment project is rapidly expanded, production quantity of construction and demolition waste concrete is being increased. On the other hand, it has to be solved urgently the unbalance of demand and supply about the fine aggregate because the sea sand is restricted by exhaustion of river sand and intensification of environment influence evaluation. Therefore, the purpose of the study was to show the performance of the apparatus developed by the study and to propose the direction of the optimum operating conditions by having an experimental and positive evaluation about quality of recycled sand produced to develop a separating and selecting device of impurities for recycling of construction wastes which can have a bigger improvement of economical efficiency, productivity, environmental property and quality through a basic property of matter of recycled sand by each operating condition of sand flux in comparison with the existing production system of recycled sand.

  • If we build new building after demolition of commercial building that is located in the downtown, it will be caused a social and environmental problem as wasting of resources and generating of waste. In this study, I investigated about remodel ins, this conclusion is given below. 1. Reconstruction cost is 2.1 times, and construction period is 1.4 times as much remodeling. So remodeling has an advantage. 2. For repairing and reinforcing timeworn building, we reinforced it as using carbon fiber sheet (girder, slab) and injecting method steel plate bonding Also, we tried to maintain efficiency of new building as using epoxy to protect concrete crack. 3. In the side of waste products and cost, remodeling has much more advantage than reconstruct. But demolition used construction period much. Because it had to be reused as repairing and reinforcing. And there was no difference between remodeling cost and reconstruct cost. If we develop research with enterprise.university.laboratory to exploit material and equipment and to train specialized engineer who will has a capacity to know construct repair and reinforce, it can be attribute to prevail remodeling in new construct market.

  • China is experiencing the urbanization at an unprecedented speed and scale in human history. The continuing growth of China's big cities, both in city land and population, has already led to great challenges in China's urban planning and construction activities, such as the continuous increase of construction and demolition (C&D) waste. Therefore, how to characterize cities' construction activities, particularly dynamically quantify the flows of building materials and construction debris, has become a pressing problem to alleviate the current shortage of resources and realize urban sustainable development. Accordingly, this study is designed to employ 4D-GIS (four dimensions-Geographic Information System) and Internet Plus to offer new approach for accurate but dynamic C&D waste management. The present study established a spatio-temporal pattern and material metabolism evolution model to characterize the geo-distribution of C&D waste by combing material flow analysis (MFA) and 4D-GIS. In addition, this study developed a mobile application (APP) for C&D waste trading and information management, which could be more effective for stakeholders to obtain useful information. Moreover, a cloud database was built in the APP to disclose the flows of C&D waste by the monitoring information from vehicles at regional level. To summarize, these findings could provide basic data and management methods for the supply and reverse supply of building materials. Meanwhile, the methodologies are practical to C&D waste management and beyond.

  • Nowadays, flooding wast is serious problem to mankind and the endeavour for solving waste problem is performed in connection with environmental problem and natural resource problem. In Korea, there are a lot of movements related to reduction of waste, too. As the solution of these problems, recycling is recommanded and many kinds of recycling technique are devised. In America, military has been playing an important role in recycling area for a long time. This paper is the survey of several articles and working papers about America military's recycling research. We investigated the recycling of water, construction and demolition wastes etc. These research results are very important in real field of military. It is considered our military has to prepare this recycling problem and now it's the right time. All of these can be adapted to our military, commercial companies and civilians through some modification. We suggest that our military should cope with recycling problem more deliberately.

폐기단계에서 LCI DB구축을 위한 CO2 발생량에 관한 연구 (A Study on CO2 Emissions to Establish a LCI DB at the Disuse Stage)

  • This study aims to calculate the $CO_2$ emissions by the properties of construction waste to establish a LCI DB of construction waste generated at the disuse stage. The $CO_2$ emissions from apartment houses was calculated by calculating the energy consumptions by treatment steps to calculate the $CO_2$ emissions by the treatment steps of construction waste. As a result of analyzing the $CO_2$ emissions from a total of 27 complexes, maximum 46,791g-$CO_2/m^2$, minimum 34,893g-$CO_2/m^2$ and average 38,713g-$CO_2/m^2$ were generated, and were varied by the quantity of construction waste in general, but were affected by the transportation distance in case of transportation steps as well. As a result of analyzing the $CO_2$ emissions by the properties of construction waste, average 19,815.50g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the highest, from the example complex at the demolition stage in case of construction wastes, and 1.72g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the lowest, during reclamation. In case of combustible waste, average 11,495.63g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the highest, from the example complex during incineration of wastes, and 21.48g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the lowest, at the waste transportation stage. In case of noncombustible waste, average 522.43g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the highest, from the example complex at the demolition stage, and 1.07g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the lowest, at the transportation stage. In case of other construction wastes, average 645.42g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the highest, from the example complex at the demolition stage, and 47.38g-$CO_2/m^2$ was generated, the lowest, at the middle treatment stage.
