  • When actual IPMSM is driving, it is difficult to figure out the correct current during the current control period due to the operation speed limit of digital signal processing. Therefore, in order to control IPMSM for electric vehicle efficiently, we should design 2D Look-up Table to find out optimal current reference corresponding to speed and torque of IPMSM. This paper explains the design method of 2D Look-up Table for optimal current control of constant torque area and constant output area of IPMSM for electric vehicle. Finally, experimental results are presented to verify the reliability of 2D Look-up Table.

  • One of the merits of superconducting magnet system is that it has persistent current mode, in which the current can be constant without any external power supply. The problem is that when we energize the magnet we can not reach the target current with constant current source, in principle. It needs another energization methods, in which it can be energized with reasonable accuracy and time. This paper suggests two energization methods for a superconducting magnet with persistnet current mode and the comparisons of the two are made with respect to the accuracy and the time.

  • In this paper, the electronic ballast was developed to control 250W metal halide lamp. To avoid acoustic resonance phenomenon, we calculated the acoustic resonance band and determined the driving frequence to from 70kHz to 100kHz. Due to the switching loss of MOSFET, many problems are caused in the inverter circuit during lighting the lamp, so we have reduced the loss by connecting the capacitor to reduce inrush current In this paper, main research area is to find the methods to operate the Iamp on regulated constant output. After detecting the current I and voltage V of the lamp, we changed the driving frequency by changing the DC voltage level.

  • This paper proposed a MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking) control algorithm for PV(Photovoltaic) array based on a modified constant voltage control MPPT algorithm at low insolation. This method which combined a reference voltage control and a constant voltage control algorithm. In contrast to the typical conventional MPPT algorithm, the proposed method have been obtained high efficiency and good performance in all insolation intensity. The proposed algorithm is verified through simulation and experiment.

  • The $(Sr_{0.85}Ca_{0.15})TiO_3(SCT)$ thin films were deposited on Pt-coated electrode $(Pt/TiN/SiO_2/Si)$ using RF sputtering method according to the deposition condition. The crystallinity of SCT thin films were increased with increase of deposition temperature in the temperature range of $100{\sim}500[^{\circ}C]$. The optimum conditions of RF power and $Ar/O_2$ ratio were 140[W] and 80/20, respectively. Deposition rate of SCT thin films was about $18.75[{\AA}/min]$ at the optimum condition. The composition of SCT thin films deposited on Si substrate is close to stoichiometry (1.102 in A/B ratio). The maximum dielectric constant of SCT thin film as obtained by annealing at $600^{\circ}C$.

  • GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) is used in electric power system to insure non conductivity, breaking capacity and operating reliability. In the present study, dynamic analysis on the closing resistors of the GIS has bees carried out by the commercial dynamic analysis code COSMOS MOTION and 3-D modeling program SOLID WORKS. In order to find the minimum value of chatter vibration of closing resistors, the motion of moving and fixed resistor parts of closing resistors were simulated by varying the spring constant, the damping coefficient and the mass of moving and fixed resistor parts. The simulated results were compared with experimental results. The application of the results could reduce chatter vibration of closing resistors of the GIS. These data are also useful on the development of future model GIS with minimum chatter vibration for the determinations of the spring constant, the damping coefficient and mass of a moving part.

  • The proposed paper presents an integrated linear actuator which combines Transverse Flux Linear Motor(TFLM) for Household elelctric applications. They both use the same primary magnetic circuit, but they have different secondary movers. The paper presents a new design of linear motor for a new electromagnetic linear actuator, an tintegrated TFLM. The calculated tthrust force is good agreement with experiments. We have studied a transient response of a linear actuator with a damping ratio, spring constant and specially a pressed power patterns for a constant stroke control.

  • A study of single-stage PFC electronic ballast with constant do-link voltage is presented in this paper. The proposed ballast is combined by two interleaved boost cells and a conventional half bridge dc/ac inverter, By exploiting the interleaving technique, the Input ripple current of the electronic ballast is reduced. Theoretical analysis and experimental results for two 45(W) fluorescent lamps are presented.

  • In this paper, a PFC(Power Factor Correction) electronic ballast with constant voltage-fed is proposed. The proposed PFC electronic ballast is combined of a High-efficiency boost converter and a conventional half bridge inverter. It is proved that the ripple of input-current and the input-current's harmonic of the proposed PFC electronic ballast are reduced using the voltage divider and soft-switching technique. It is demonstrated that simulation results for 40[W] fluorescent lamp correspond with theoretical analysis
