사춘기 정신지체여아의 초경에 대한 어머니의 경험 연구(Parse의 방법론 적용) (The Lived Experience of Mothers Mentally Handicapped Daughters Having Menarche at Puberty)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the structure of mothers of mentally handicapped daughters' lived experience, to apprehend the connectedness of the structure of the experience with concept of Parse's human becoming theory, and to provide a foundation for nursing research and education. Data collection was conducted from October 1995 to April 1996. Research participants were eight mothers of mentally handicapped daughters whose ages ranged from 12 to 18 attending special schools located in either Inchon or Seoul. The researcher had interviews with them over their lived experience conducted tape recorded, and made an analysis according to Parse's “human becoming research methodoloy.” The data were collected using the dialogical engagement process “I and You,” the participant researcher and the participant subject. The data were analyzed using the extraction-synthesis and heuristic interpretation. The structural integration is illustrated in the following : 1) Realizing the mother's role of mentally handicapped daughters and admitting situation. 2) Concealing a part of their relationship with others is interpreted as revealing-concealing. 3) Living a life kept moving between separating and connecting. 4) Their flight back voluntarily to improve the situation is interpreted as powering. The conceptual integration which emerged was the lived experience of mothers is powering through the revealing-concealing and connecting-separating of valuing.

Effect of Acylation on the Structure of the Acyl Carrier Protein P

  • Acyl carrier protein is related with fatty acid biosynthesis in which specific enzymes are involved. Especially, acyl carrier protein (ACP) is the key component in the growing of fatty acid chain. ACP is the small, very acidic protein that covalently binds various intermediates of fatty acyl chain. Acylation of ACP is mediated by holo-acyl carrier protein synthase (ACPS), which transfers the 4'PP-moiety of CoA to the 36th residue Ser of apo ACP. Acyl carrier protein P (ACPP) is one of ACPs from Helicobacter plyori. The NMR structure of ACPP consists of four helices, which were reported previously. Here we show how acylation of ACPP can affect the overall structure of ACPP and figured out the contact surface of ACPP to acyl chain attached during expression of ACPP in E. coli. Based on the chemical shift perturbation data, the acylation of ACCP seems to affect the conformation of the long loop connecting helix I and helix II as well as the second short loop connecting helix II and helix III. The significant chemical shift change of Ile 54 upon acylation supports the contact of acyl chain and the second loop.

시공간 3차원 결합 잡음제거 필터 (Spatio-Temporal 3D Joint Noise Reduction Filter)

  • 영상 시퀀스에 포함된 잡음은 화질을 열화시키고 중요한 영상의 미세 정보를 훼손시킨다. 또한 잡음은 영상의 복잡성을 증가시키므로 영상의 압축효율을 저하시킨다. 본 논문에서는 특성이 서로 다른 두개의 적응형 잡음제거 필터를 결합적으로 연결하여 잡음을 제거하는 공간결합필터와 시간결합필터를 제시하고, 이 결합필터들을 연결한 IIR필터 구조를 갖는 3차원 잡음제거 필터를 제시한다. 제시된 잡음제거 필터는 영상의 에지와 미세정보를 유지하면서도 평탄한 영상영역에 대해서는 강한 잡음제거를 수행하며 이웃한 프레임 사이에서도 잡음에 의한 시간적인 깜박임을 억제한다. 실험결과 제안된 잡음제거 필터는 기존 방식들에 비하여 객관적 화질뿐만 아니라 주관적인 화질을 크게 향상시킴을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes the correction of the protective relay equipped in the dedicated line used for connecting distributed generators (DG) to power grid. The fault current measured in a relaying point might be changed according to the fault conditions. Generally, the fault current of the line to line fault or the line to ground fault at the dedicated line is much higher than the protective set value due to the large fault level. However. when the high impedance fault is occurred in the dedicated line, we may not detect it because its fault level can be lower than the generating capacity of DG. And, the protective relay with conventional set value may generate a trip signal for insertion of DG due to the large transient characteristics of generators. Through the various simulations such as the fault in the dedicated line and the insertion of DG, we show that it would be necessary to modify the protective relay set value for detecting the high impedance fault occurred in the dedicated line and for preventing the mis-operation of protective relay caused by the insertion of DG.

터보차져용 터빈의 스핀 테스트를 위한 로터다이나믹 특성분석 (Rotordynamic Characteristics Analysis of Turbocharger Turbine for Spin Test)

  • This paper deals with the detail rotordynamic analysis for the assembly rotor composed of turbine wheel, turbine shaft, connecting arbor, and flange & spindle in order to perform the spin test of turbocharger turbine. Prior to rotordynamic analysis, the 1st spin test was performed but the test was failed by excess vibration in the neighborhood rated speed. It is the reason for this fail that the separation margin between the rated speed and critical speed is not enough, confirmed by rotordynamic analysis results. Since then, the dimension of turbine shaft was modified and the critical speeds were again reviewed for modified assmebly rotor. In results, the separation margin between the rated speed and critical speed is over 20% and then the 2nd spin test was performed successfully. In preparing spin test for turbine, compressor wheels and etc., the geometry design of connecting arbor and dimension of rough machining should be reviewed by considering rotordynamic results, and the separation margin should be enough for successful spin test.

  • 유비쿼터스 기반 단말기에서 GIS 데이터 처리를 하기 위해서는 CPU 처리능력, 저장공간, 화면크기, 네트워크 등의 제약이 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 기존의 연구결과를 개선하여 지적전산파일을 새롭게 디자인 하였다. 지적전산파일은 단순히 파일 형태로 구성되어 있어 화면에 출력하거나 지리정보 객체에 접근할 때 파일 전체를 읽어야 하는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 인덱스 파일을 추가하여 객체의 접근속도를 개선하고, 출력 속도를 증가시켰다. 결과적으로, 포맷 변환시 원본 데이터의 27.6%의 용량만을 가지며 기존 포맷보다 개선된 포맷을 얻을 수 있었다.

유한요소 부영역의 결합을 통한 복합재료 구조물의 동적 접촉 해석 (Dynamic Contact Analysis of Composite Structures by Connecting Finite Element Subdomains)

  • 복합재료 구조물의 동적 접촉 문제를 효율적으로 해석하기 위하여 부영역과 공유면에 기반을 둔 변분 정식화 과정을 제안하였다. 벌칙 함수법을 이용하여 접촉면에서의 부등식 구속 조건은 물론, 유한요소 부영역과 공유면의 연결을 위한 등식 적합 조건까지 만족하게 하였다. 이에 따라 구조 형상이 복잡한 경우라도 공유면에서의 절점 연속성을 별도로 고려하지 않고 전체 영역긍 분할한 후, 분할된 부영역별로 독립적인 유한요소로 모델링하여 필요한 수치 연산을 수행할 수 있다. 개발된 컴퓨터 코드를 이용한 수치 해석을 통하여 제안된 정식화에 대한 여러 특성을 고찰하였다.

  • 신형상 폐단면 냉간성형형강 스터드와 래프터로 구성된 포탈프레임의 접합부의 모멘트-회전각 관계, 회전강성, 항복모멘트 및 극한모멘트 등을 파악하기 위하여 접합부실험을 수행하였다. 실험의 주요 변수는 연강 접합철물의 두께 및 형상과 접합부 시험체의 비틀림에 관한 구속조건이며, 실험결과의 검증을 위해서 비선형해석 결과와 비교하였다. 반강접 접합부의 휨강성을 실험에 의한 모멘트-회전각 곡선으로 부터 구한 할선강도로 제안하여 구조해석을 통하여 타당성을 검토하였다.

엔진 연결봉 베어링의 최소 유막 두께에 관한 연구 (A Study, on the Minimum Oil Film Thickness of Connecting-rod Bearing in Engine)

  • The minimum oil film thickness(MOFT) in the connecting-rod bearing of a 1.5 liter, L-4, gasoline engine is measured up to 5500 rpm and calculated to study the dynamically loaded engine bearing. Short bearing approximation and Mobility method are used for theoretical analysis of oil film characteristics. And cylinder pressure, crank-pin surface temperature and bearing temperature are measured as the input data of theoretical analysis. The MOFT are measured by the total capacitance method(TCM). To improve the reliability of the test results, a reasonable determination method of bearing clearance is introduced and used, and the effects of cavitation and aeration on the test results are neglected. The crankshaft is grounded by means of a slip ring. A scissor type linkage system was developed to measure the MOFT and bearing temperature. The effects of engine speed, load and oil viscosity on the measured and calculated minimum oil film thicknesses are investigated at 1500 to 5500 rpm. From the comparison between the measured and calculated MOFT, it is found that a qualitative similarity exists between them, but in all cases, the measured MOFT are smaller than those calculated.

결함트리분석을 이용한 상수관망 단수 리스크 저감 최적 방안 연구 (A study on optimal planning of risk reduction for water suspension in water pipe system using fault tree analysis)

  • This study was carried out to analyze water suspension in the water supply system through fault tree analysis. And quantitative factors was evaluated to minimize water suspension. Consequently the aim of this study is to build optimal planning by analyzing scenarios for water suspension. Accordingly the fault tree model makes it possible to estimate risks for water suspension, current risks is $92.23m^3/day$. The result of scenario analysis by pipe replacement, risks for water suspension was reduced $7.02m^3/day$ when replacing WD4 pipe. As a result of scenario analysis by water district connections, the amount of risk reduction is maximized when it is connecting to network pipe of D Zone. Therefore, connecting to network pipe for D Zone would be optimal to reduce risk for water suspension.
