UFC(Ubiquitous Fashionable Computer) is a human oriented fashionable computer with which we exploit the ubiquitous computing environment by our intuitive interface[1]. The multipoint conference in the UFC is expected to be one of the leading applications in the ubiquitous environments. In this paper, we introduce GUI for multipoint conference system in UFC.

The 9th Indo-Pacific Fish Conference (IPFC9) was held in Okinawa, Japan from 24th to 28th June 2013. Five hundred and thirty two delegates from 36 countries/regions around the world attended. The Conference took place with a welcome address by Dr. Keiichi Matsuura in the Laguna Garden Hotel next to the Okinawa Convention Center in the evening of 23rd June 2013, one day before the official start of the IPFC9. The winners of the two IPFC9 Bleeker Awards, Jeffrey M. Leis (Ecology) and Gerald R. Allen (Systematics) provided excellent talks on "Change in the early life-history of Indo-Pacific Fishes" and "The center of Indo-Pacific reef fish diversity". A total of 462 papers were presented, including 328 oral and 134 poster presentations. The main themes of IPFC9 included systematics, evolution, zoogeography and phylogeography, biodiversity, ecology, behavior, and conservation. There were 14 symposia, which included topics such as "Top predatory fish in the Indo-Pacific ecosystems", "Fish diversity across environmental extremes", "Ontogeny and systematics of Indo-Pacific fishes", and "Phylogenetics and diversification of the Percomorpha". IPFC10 will be held in Papeete, Tahiti.

H.323 proposes to use Mobile IP and H.323 ad hoc conference signaling to provide Handoff function to an H.323 mobile terminal. But the H.323 ad hoc conference signaling has a drawback. It requires an H.323 terminal to do a complex conference signaling which takes a longer signaling time. In this paper, we propose an GK architecture that provides Handoff function effectively using 3$^{rd}$ P'||'||'||'||'||'&'||'||'||'||'||'R(Third party initiated Pause and Rerouting) signaling which are done through H.245 logical channel. The GK which is implementing 3$^{rd}$ P'||'||'||'||'||'&'||'||'||'||'||'R signaling only requires an H.323 endpoint to do the H.323 basic signaling in reestablishing media channel and gives the faster Handoff signaling. To do this, our GK has derived H.245 control channel using tunneling f3r all H.323 calls including the fast connect calls which enable terminals communicate each other if they doesn't have H.245 control channel .municate each other if they doesn't have H.245 control channel .

The 9th Global Conference for Health Promotion has been held in Shanghai after 30 years of the first Global Conference for Health Promotion in Ottawa, Canada. In the conference, the delegated members of the countries declared 'Shanghai Declaration on promoting health in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.' In the declaration, the delegated members of country had agreed that health is one of the 'most effective markers' of any city's successful sustainable development and contributes to make cities inclusive, safe, and resilient for the whole population and 'health literacy' empowers individual citizens and enables their engagement in collective health promotion action. And in a parallel session 'Mayors Forum,' they had consensus for health city and they adopted 'Shanghai Consensus on Healthy Cities.' They recognized their political responsibility to create the conditions for every resident of every city to lead more healthy, safe, and fulfilling lives and to support the full realization of human potential and capabilities at all ages in the city environment.

Living in the age of information people face problems related to information overload. Information is easy to produce, store and distribute through various communication channels, one of which is emails. With the appearance of the mobile devices, such as smart phones and tabs, people can have access to email inbox at any moment of time from everywhere. In this paper we present information extraction system with a specific goal of extracting meeting location from the announcement of seminar or conference. We apply a machine learning method (conditional random fields, CRF), train the system using annotated corpus of seminar and conference announcements and validate results by applying various extracted correction rules and patterns. Furthermore, we normalize extracted location, and reference using geo-coding databases, OpenStreetMap and Wikipedia resources to determine real geographical coordinates.

삼성전자나 현대차와 같은 기업뿐만 아니라, UN에서 정상회의를 주제하는 국제 컨퍼런스 담당자들은 이해관계자들과의 커뮤니티에서 현재 조직의 목표와 미래의 비전을 강하게 어필하는 Moving Identity를 중시한다. 이러한 Moving Identity를 홍보와 광고에 어떻게 Dynamic Branding을 내포하여야 할 것인가가, 연구해야 할 중요한 부분이다. 본 논문에서는 ACM SIG CHI 2015 Conference opening에서 상영된 애니메이션에, Moving Identity를 설계 적용한 홍보영상을 Dynamic Branding 관점에서 설계하고 연구하여 제작하였다.

IPv6와 멀티캐스트 기술을 이용하여, 3D 인터페이스의 가상 학술회의를 구현하였다. 멀티캐스트를 위하여 PIM-SM 방식을 사용하였다. 사용자들에게 실제 학술회의에 참여함과 같은 가상 현실을 제공하기 위하여, VRML을 사용하여 3D 인터페이스를 제작하였다. 사용자가 회의장을 출입하는 등의 멀티캐스트 동작을 현실감 있게 하기 위하여, 그 행위에 따른 아바타를 도입하였다.

The 1st International Conference on Magnetic Refrigeration at Room Temperature was held at Montreux, Switzerland during September 27-30, 2005. The conference was the first of its kind to bring together about 140 scientists and engineers interested in magnetic refrigeration in one place. The magnetocaloric effect was discovered in 1881, however, magnetic refrigeration at room temperature was demonstrated to be viable in 1997 Since then, R&D efforts toward magnetic refrigeration have been on the rise around the world, in both areas of systems and materials. The conference reflected the recent R&D trend in magnetic refrigeration at room temperature, which includes the use of permanent magnet instead of superconductor magnet, switch from reciprocating to rotary magnetic refrigeration system, development of magnetic materials based on transition metal elements besides rare earth materials such as gadolinium(Gd).
