This study purpose is assessment to intention of turnover for dental hygienists. The study population was dental hygienists who registered at conference of Korean Dental Hygienists Association. Finally 1,955 among 2,040 were finished the question and response(response rate 95.8%). Statistical analysis conducted using SPSS 18.0K for Windows. The difference on the distribution of independent variables related with experience of turnover analyzed with Chi-square test. The results of this research could be summarized as follows: The rate of the dental hygienists experienced of turnover was 46.8%. The unmarried dental hygienists were more intended than the married ones(p<0.001). More higher education group, more higher working experience group, more higher income group, more aged group had more turnover(p<0.001). The reason of turnover were environment of employment(night work, 23.7%), personal reasons(19.1%), conditions of employment(14.6%). In conclusion, this study suggests that set up a strategy of career life for dental hygienists in dental clinic.
The purpose of this study is to present an objective basis for the entry point of a knowledge-based economy, that is used by quantitative analysis to serve as 'The Result of Wage Structure Survey' and 'Sample Design for Survey Report on Labor Conditions by Employment Type' of the Ministry of Employment & Labor. Entry criteria for a knowledge-based society, through the definition of a Bell and Toffler, was defined by the number of information workers more than the number of physical workers, and the information workers were classified by knowledge workers. To redefine the definition of Porat's typology of information workers, Korea Standard Classification of Occupation is classified by the job of knowledge, service, industry and agriculture. The result of the analysis is appeared the entry point of a knowledge-based economy by workers structural changes and annual wage structure changes has identified empirically-year 1980 the United States more than 20 years later in 2000. In addition, the economic contribution of knowledge occupation was confirmed to be the biggest by measuring the economic contribution of occupation classification in the knowledge society.
This study aims to explore the present condition of job preparation of students in the department of physical education in depth so that convergence talents with professional physical education abilities can be trained and physical education majors can establish themselves in adverse conditions such as the reduction of the entrance quota and a lack of cases of research on job training in the departments related to physical education by the college evaluation of the Ministry of Education and to present a direction of career training. In order to analyze the relationships among sub-factors according to the level of perception of physical education-related majors, methods such as MANOVA and correspondence analysis were used. The results obtained through the research are as follows: First, it turned out that it is important to carry out career training in advance, considering physical education-related college students' aptitude and talent by grade. Second, it turned out that it is important to alleviate the problem of employment barrier in the preparation for career fast. Third, it turned out that it is important for us all to make efforts to expand the types of physical education-related employment and provide opportunities.
The present research was performed to determine the optimal firing condition and holding time for malayaite crystal, which is responsible for the stable pink-red coloration in glaze at high temperatures, using Cr$Cl_3$ as chromophore for the synthesis of $Cr_2O_3-SnO_2-CaO-SiO_2$ system pigments. The malayaite crystal was influenced by the raw materials used for synthesis, firing temperature, and holding time. Thus there are differences in the crystal phase and in the coloration according to the condition of synthesis. When Cr$Cl_3$ was used as chromophore, the pigment could be synthesized at lower temperatures, because Cr$Cl_3$ melts at $1500{^{\circ}C}$, which is much lower than the temperature at which $Cr_2O_3$ melts (higher than $2435{^{\circ}C}$). And the employed Cr ion showed a change in oxidation state. When a mineralizer was used to improve the employment of malayaite and the Cr ion, and the low temperature was maintained at which the malayaite crystal is produced, the production of malayaite crystal was promoted and the employment of chromophore was also promoted in the oxidation state of Cr (IV). The results of the experiment showed that the optimal firing condition was 18 h of holding time at $800{^{\circ}C}$, using Cr$Cl_3$ as chromophore, followed by 2 h at the raised temperature of $1150{^{\circ}C}$. The change in coloration of the Cr (IV) employed by malayaite showed a very rich color of red. Thus it was possible to effectively synthesize sphene-pink pigments with more red tint at a low temperature.
Purpose: Work-related anxiety and depression are frequent work-related mental health problems. In this study the relationship between workplace violence and work-related anxiety and/or depression among Korean employees was evaluated. Methods: Data were obtained from the Korean Working Condition Survey of 2006. Participants were 9,094 Korean workers aged 15-64 yr. Multiple logistic regression using SAS version 9.1 was used. Results: The incidence of work-related anxiety, work-related depression and workplace violence were 4.5%, 3.5%, and 1.8% respectively. When personal and occupational risk factors were adjusted, workplace violence was significantly associated with work-related anxiety and depression (OR for anxiety: 4.07, CI: 2.62-6.34; OR for depression: 4.60, CI: 2.92-7.25). Work-related anxiety was significantly related to type of employment, working period at present workplace, work time, shift work, job demand, and social support from superiors. Factors influencing work-related depression were gender, education, alcohol consumption, company size, type of employment, working period at present workplace, work time, shift work, and job demand. Conclusion: To promote psychological health in workers there is a need to develop work-related anxiety and depression prevention programs and to decrease in workplace violence. In developing these programs, consideration should be given to personal factors, working conditions, and psychosocial working environments.
According to the survey results on non-standard employment, most of the non-standard workers are women and work at service jobs and some jobs that do not require firm-specific skill. Also wages of non-standard workers appear to be lower than those of standard workers by 10~19%. Non-standard workers are very much likely to be excluded from beneficiaries of economic growth because job contents and ability are not important relatively as criteria in determining their basic wage and their benefits are also much lower in severance pay and bonuses, vacations, 4 social insurances, education and training opportunities. Because of very low rate of union membership, the working conditions of non-standard workers are not expected to be improvable easily by unions. It seems that the reason of the demand increase for non-standard workers is mainly because not only an individual establishment demands quantitative flexibility in employment, but also there are tendencies of being smaller in establishment size and of growing service industries macro-economically. The number of non-standard workers are expected to increase continuously in the future, too.
This study seeks to identify the reform of vocational education plans so as to bring about a seamless transition from school to work. It puts forward a number of suggestions based upon an analysis of vocational education policies in Korean and U.S. schools, concerning the government's role, partnerships between education and industry, the educational system, curriculum and work-based learning. First, not only government initiatives but also close partnerships between education and industry are essential to help vocational education in school the transition to employment. Education and industry should work closely together to standardize certificate related skills and to have these skills reflected in the curriculum. Also the government should strive to provide guidelines for work-based learning and formulate standards for supervision and evaluation. Second, to facilitate the school to work transition, comprehensive schools should be promoted so that students have access to a greater ranger of vocational education. At the same time, an assessment system that certifies a mastering of the basic skills of those who undergo the education should be introduced, and it should be related to earn these certificates. Third, standardized vocational skills should be included in the curriculum so that students can acquire skills that are useful for industry. All the students in vocational and general high schools should have access both to general education, the foundation for lifelong learning and for employ ability, and to basic occupational skills which empower students in dealing with rapid changes of technology. Also a range of specialized vocational curricula should be offered so that students can opt for more specialized occupations; and they can select careers appropriate to their capability. Fourth, so that all students to have the opportunity to take part in work-based education, which is closely related to employment, various work-based learning programs should be offered to meet the needs of students and their educational conditions. Companies should for their part train students thoroughly in accordance with the standards of work-based education. In addition, supervisors should be stationed both in schools and companies in order to administer the students' work-based learning.
The aim of this study was to identify the most effective methods with which to revitalize Korean high school culinary education. To achieve this aim, a culinary recognition questionnaire survey of 616 students from 9 culinary high schools was carried out. The 9 surveyed schools represented the following of 7 regions: Chungnam, Busan, Incheon, Daegue, Jeonbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Gwangju. Collected data were subjected to descriptive analysis, $x^2$-test, t-test, and one-way ANOVA using SPSS(version 14.0). The results of this study are as follows. Culinary practice interest and learning demand of most students were high. 6.8% of students indicated that initial theory learning, followed by video education, and finally live demonstration is an effective teaching methodology. They preferred practicing on actual ingredients as the primary teaching and learning method, nominating technician cooking as the most favorite. As for areas needing improvement in culinary practice education, difficulties with material preparation and insufficient learning hours were identified as prominent factors by 66.8% of respondents. There was unanimous agreement that culinary practice education can be enhanced by highly skilled teachers, while interest for the discipline itself can be fostered by initiating and encouraging cooking participation in the home. Freshmen and special high school students suggested that a cooking related website is necessary to expand the current information interface, which is currently limited to colleagues and employers. In relation to culinary education revitalization, consistent promotion of departments, or high schools that have proven student satisfaction rates and effective culinary curriculum are required. Furthermore, teachers can also aid this process by more effective student pastoral care in order to improve school life satisfaction. However, teacher job satisfaction is an important component of this process, and better employment conditions and remuneration packages reflecting extra work must be considered as part of an attractive teacher-incentive employment policy.

This paper attempts to analyze the contribution of different socioeconomic factors such as income, age, gender, household composition, education and employment status etc. to the difference between the Capital and Non-Capital Regions in the net wealth inequality of household in Korea. To this end, a two-stage Oaxaca-Blinder type decomposition is employed regarding the regional gap in the inequality of net wealth based upon the Recentered Influence Function of the Gini index for 'the 2018 Household Finance and Living Conditions Survey.' Despite the shortcomings of the survey data on wealth, the findings reveal that regional differences in income, marriage status (divorce), job type (agriculture, forestry and fishery related, and technical and assembly), family type (multi-cultural) variables deepen the regional gap in the net-wealth inequality, but employment status (full-time), job type (administrative and specialized, and service sales), household size variables mitigate the gap, and that regional differences in life cycles play an offsetting role.
A study on the seamen's demand - supply has been focused on early 1990s, and never studied yet since 2007. Because previous studies related to the seamen are very different in conditions the environments around the fishery recently. It is serious problem that the number of domestic semen are decreasing continually. To depend on foreign seamen because of lacking of domestic seamen should be linked closely with the fishing industry environment in our country. Therefore, this study is limited to domestic seamen. Lacking recent domestic seamen, it is the most likely to rise imbalance between demand - supply in the future. Through medium and long term its analysis based on data, we are willing to discover various political subjects for seamen's welfare, the training of manpower, education, etc. To solve these issues, it can be made institutional changes as follows ; First, it is necessary policy-making related the deteriorating employment situation based on its analysis of medium and long term for seamen. Second, it is necessary to overcome a dual system for its management for seamen. Third, it is necessary to improve problems of statistics data for fishery and build a statistical system for seamen. Also, it will be improved a insurance system under 5 ton and strengthen the function for Korean seamen welfare and employment center and must be urgently countermeasures for the minimal unemployment rate through a content development and management of home page. Finally, it will be supplied reliably seamen to improve a practice system for apprentices according to the international regulations(STCW-F) for fishery students.
