  • We introduce the concept of IVF almost M-continuity and investigate characterizations for such mappings on the interval-valued fuzzy topological spaces. We study the relationships between IVF almost M-continuous mapping and IVF compactness.

Critical Thinking Disposition, Professional Self-Concept and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students (일개 대학 간호대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 전문직 자아개념과 임상수행 능력에 관한 연구)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to revealed the association among the clinical performance, self-concept of the nursing profession and critical thinking disposition of nursing students. Methods The subjects were recruited from the university nursing students who was experienced Grade 3 and Grade 4 students. The general characteristics of the subjects were presented with the frequency and percentage. Differences in clinical performance, professional nursing self-concept and critical thinking disposition were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA according to the degree of general characteristics. A significant positive correlation were analyzed from $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ test. Multiple regression analysis was used to reveal the effective indexes for Clinical Competence of the subjects. The suitable significance was 0.05 Results Total 318(23 males and 295 females) participants were joined in this study. Critical thinking disposition of the nursing students was significantly different in the university satisfaction, academic record, major satisfaction, satisfaction of clinical practice, relationships with colleagues practice, satisfaction amount of practice(p<0.001). Clinical competence of nursing students was positively associated with critical thinking disposition, professional self-concept and professional self-concept was positively associated with critical thinking disposition. Critical thinking disposition and professional self-concept was significant (F=83.081, p<.001). The higher clinical competence was (${\beta}=.168$, p=.001), the higher professional self-concept was(${\beta}=.051$, p<.001). The explanation power of critical thinking disposition and professional self-concept was 34.5% in clinical competence. Conclusions There is significantly positive correlation among critical thinking disposition, professional self-concept, and clinical performance in the nursing students.

  • A concept network is an essential knowledge base for semantic search engines, personalized search systems, recommendation systems, and text mining. Recently, studies of extending concept representation using external ontology have been frequently conducted. We thus propose a new way of building 3-dimensional text model-based concept networks using the world knowledge-level Wikipedia ontology. In fact, it is desirable that 'concepts' derived from text documents are defined according to the theoretical framework of formal concept analysis, since relationships among concepts generally change over time. In this paper, concept networks hidden in a given document collection are extracted more reasonably by representing a concept as a term-by-document matrix.

Concept Analysis of Nursing Leadership (간호리더십에 대한 개념 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide a concept analysis of nursing leadership. Methods: The concept analysis process of Walker and Avant (2011) was used. A review of the literature was conducted using several databases, including PubMed, CINAHL, Ovid-Medline, DBpia, and KISS. The databases were searched using the following terms 'nursing leadership', 'nursing' & 'leadership', and 'nurse & 'leadership', and for studies published from January 2000 to March 2015. Strict inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied. Results: Analysis of these studies indicated nursing leadership attributes were individual growth, collaboration, nursing excellence, creative problem solving, and influence. The antecedents of nursing leadership were the individual maturity level, construction of mutual trust and confidential relationships, and a job requirement. The consequences were improvement in nursing productivity, development of a supportive work environment, and satisfaction with the nursing profession. Conclusion: The findings in this study provide a definite concept of nursing leadership. The findings also provide the theoretical evidence for the development of nursing leadership competencies in nursing students and professional nurses.

Causal Relationships between School Adjustment of Middle School Students and Related Variables (중학생의 학교적응 관련요인의 인과적 구조분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the causal relationship of familial factors (parental acceptance, autonomy, and family satisfaction), social support (teacher's support and friend's support), school achievement, self-concept, and school adjustment. Based on preceding research, this study established a path model of school adjustment and its related variables. Methods: Two thousand six hundred and twenty nine middle school students participated in this study. Data were collected by a visit-survey with an organized questionnaire and was analyzed by the SPSS and AMOS programs. Results: Self-concept showed a significantly direct influence to school adjustment while both family satisfaction and school achievement directly and indirectly influenced school adjustment. Parental acceptance, autonomy, and social support indirectly influenced school adjustment. Conclusion: These results imply that first, family satisfaction, and self-concept are essential to solve the problems of school adjustment. Especially friend's support, teacher's support and school achievement should help improve the self-concept and school adjustment. Second, a variety of programs are available for schools to employ in an effort to provide interventions for students who demonstrate school maladjustment. Finally, it is necessary for family, school and society members to comprehensively cooperate to improve school adjustment.

Health-related quality of life in children with epilepsy: a concept analysis

  • Purpose: This study aimed to conduct a concept analysis of health-related quality of life in children with epilepsy to promote conceptual clarification and facilitate mutual understanding of the concept. Methods: Walker and Avant's concept analysis method was adopted. Results: Health-related quality of life in children with epilepsy consists of six attributes: health status, inner strength, close relationships, resource-rich community, social acceptance, and changeability. According to the ecological system paradigm, these attributes are structured into five dimensions: organism, microsystem, macrosystem, exosystem, and chronosystem. These dimensions provide a comprehensive approach to the relationship between children with epilepsy and their environment. Epilepsy and interactions with multilevel ecological systems that are directly and indirectly related to children with epilepsy precede the concept, followed by positive and negative affective responses. Conclusion: The findings of this study may support effective communication in various practice settings, thereby contributing to the health and well-being of children with epilepsy, as well as the development and expansion of interventions to improve their health-related quality of life.

  • In this paper, we introduce the concept of double fuzzy preproximity spaces as a generalization of a fuzzy preproximity spaces and investigate some of their properties. Also we study the relationships between double fuzzy preproximity spaces, double fuzzy topological spaces and double fuzzy closure spaces. In addition to this was the introduction of the concept of double fuzzy neighborhood system and has been studying the connection with double fuzzy preproximity, which resulted in the definition of the concept double fuzzy preproximal neighborhood.

  • In school mathematics the derivative concept is intuitively taught with the tangents and the concept of instantaneous velocity. In this paper, I investigated the long historical developments of the derivative concepts and analysed the relationships between the definition of derivative and the related elements. Finally I proposed some educational implications based on the analysis.

  • Self is well·expressed by clothing, so self-image can be an effective variable for conducting clothing·behavior studies. But there ate some problems in clothing and self-image researches. This paper will be a clue to discuss these problems. The contents of this study are as follows. (1) The notion of self-image is compared with self-concept, and according to this work, self concept comprehends the evaluative properties in addition to self-image illustration. In tai.; part, the problem in translating the terminologies, 'self-concept' and 'self-image', are also discussed. (2) The aspects of self-image are explored, thus physical and social-psychological aspects are determined. (3) Two sub-dimensions of self-image ate recommended relating to clothing researches: actual versus ideal and intrinsic versus phenomenal. (4) Some comments for future studies ate added. It is needed to investigate the relationships of other social- psychological variables and self-image in clothing department.

Play Activities in Eco-Friendly Outdoor Environments: Effect on Children's Self-Concept and Prosocial Behavior (자연친화적인 실외환경에서의 놀이활동이 유아의 자아개념과 친사회적 행동에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was conducted with 50 5-year-old children in public schools with very similiar outdoor eco-friendly play facilities. Specific play activities were introduced in the experimental group of 25 children while the control group did nor have such activities. Results of the analysis by t-test and ANCOVA showed that the play activities were effective for implementing emotional, social and physical self-concepts. There was no effect of play activities on cognitive self-concept. Effects on prosocial behavior showed that the play activities were effective for developing abilities to control individual emotions, build human relationships and adapt to school.
