This study explored the theoretical basis of the teaching competency of university professors in the future society represented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution through literature analysis and the researcher's council. To this end, this study first derived the implications for cultivating of teaching competency of university professors according to the social needs of future social universities. Next, according to the social needs of future social universities, the teaching competency required for university professors was presented. Finally, based on this theoretical argument, the concept of teaching competency of professors in the future society was defined and its sub-elements were presented. As a result of this study, the teaching competency frame of professors in the future society was proposed with 8 capabilities in 3 areas including 2 ability to respond to change, 2 ability to promote innovation, and 4 ability to instruct. Through the theoretical basis proposed in this study, it is hoped that the university professors' teaching competency development plan will be established to prepare for the instability of the uncertain future in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. In addition, it is expected that innovation and change strategies of each university will be established, and class innovation strategies will be established to meet the needs of students.
The primary purpose of this study was to develop performance evaluation indices for measuring the results of the work and performance of the career exploration support centers. For the study, First, to describe the current status of the management system across the 228 centers, examine the staff's perceptions of the current evaluation method and system of each center, and analyze the needs of measuring indices of each center for its performance evaluation, a cross-sectional survey method was employed. Second, relevant literature was reviewed. Next, measurement indices were developed employing the Delphi method with a panel of 15 experts in developing instruments of accomplishment. Based upon the conclusion of this study, The measurement indices developed in this study focuses on the core measurement indices. These indices include a checkbox of necessary and unnecessary in each item so that each local department of education or each center can select indicating items (indices) according to its own needs. The newly developed measurement indices consists of four domains to assess: (1) Institutional competencies-goals, budget, system, and resources, (2) Practitional competences-qualities of programs, administration of experiential career program providers, promotion of centers and programs, management of human resources such as instructors or guides, and establishment of community-center cooperative networking system, (3) Accomplishments-finding new experiential career program providers, the number of participants such as schools and students, reciprocal system, and the degree of participants' satisfaction with the center and programs, and (4) specialized indicators-extra scores for center-based specialized programs.
In order to cope with the rapid changes in science and technology and various societies and complex economies with the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution, intellectual property education is essential above all. In this study, therefore, intellectual property and the required competences were derived and verified for each field. As for the research method, Delphi technique was used twice for literature review and experts, and the conclusions of the research are as follows. First, the field of intellectual property required in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution was classified, through literature review and Delphi technique, in eleven sections such as IP-R & D consulting, IP information search analysis, IP entitlement, IP strategic planning, IP transaction, IP finance, IP value evaluation, IP management, global IP management, IP commercialization, and IP disputes, of which validity was verified. Second, It was analyzed that the validity of required competencies derived from each field of intellectual property was reliable. Third, it is generally appropriate to nurture manpower in each field of intellectual property in universities or graduate schools. In addition, it is judged that regular job training of industries such as enterprises and public institutions is necessary regardless of the field.

This study is public R & D institutions report to verify what the impact factors on the course of progress of industrialization based on technology companies who previously received prior to the developed technology, what policies and plans for the next requirements based on this by offering the implications for business rate was to contribute to the improvement of the public research institution technology transfer. In this study, the influence factors on technology commercialization derived through the analysis of existing and previous studies, the characteristics of the previously received corporate environmental characteristics and previous technologies through a survey of the company received a technology transfer from public research institutions commercialization decisions and contributions, including sales and commercialization of the results were analyzed by logistic regression analysis demonstrated how to have relevance. Analysis, and linkage with high production company has an existing case of IT technology transfer, commercialization of higher technical success rate was higher compatibility. On the other hand, were observed and expected success rate were higher when a rather commercialized technologies independently be earlier than if participating in joint research in the development of the technology, unlike previously, completeness of the prior art did not significantly affect. This study has the following policy implications. Public research institutions have developed technologies are commercialized to figure out what the requirements of the technical aspects of consumer technologies in order to create economic wealth. And for technology commercialization for enough technical competencies to absorb the technology, and that the technology and considering the link between business and technology commercialization success to be applied. This study has some limitations. First, the sample size was not sufficient. In relation to the presence and participation of corporate success and commercialization of the R & D process, with many previous studies are needed more in-depth analysis by leading research in the sense that different results are obtained. Also did not reflect the will or the corporate culture, management and organizational skills and belongs to the external environment and internal corporate enterprises industry characteristics affecting the success of corporate management of the business. And lacked sufficient consideration of the various technical characteristics present in the form of joint research and industry. Finally, there is a limit of generalizations about other industries.

The purposes of this study were to analyze the home economics(hereafter HE) curriculum in Victoria State, Australia, and to derive the implications for the HE curriculum in Korea. To accomplish the purposes, the contents of the curriculum were analyzed through the relevant web pages, and the actual conditions of the HE curriculum implementation were identified through e-mail and interviews with HE teachers and administrator. The results of this study were as follows. First, the HE curriculum for F-10 was one of the cross-curriculum resources based on the content descriptions and achievement standards of 'Design and Technologies' and 'Health and Physical Education' curriculum. Because the HE curriculum is competency-based curriculum and did not stipulate what was to be taught then, HE teachers had lots of autonomy in organizing and operating the curriculum, which led to the need for professionalism. Second, VCE subjects, both 'Food Studies' and 'Health and Human Development', which are HE elective curriculum for 11th and 12th graders, require students to take written tests produced by the VCAA. Because there are no specific details to be taught in the curriculum, the HE teacher had the need to devise and operate various classes to foster problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, etc. Third, HE teachers had the discretion to create all the subject names, contents to deal with, and evaluations to prepare for the school curriculum, and thus were exerting their professionalism. This was due to the fact that the system was well equipped and VCE subjects were audited, even though teachers' performances were related to their individual competencies.

The purpose of this study is to explore secondary students' progression in group norms and argumentation competency through collaborative reflection about small group argumentation. The progression is identified as the development of group norms and an epistemic understanding of argumentation with the enhancement of group argumentation competency during collaborative reflection and argumentation lessons. Participants were four first grade middle school students who have different academic achievements and learning approaches. They participated in ten argumentation lessons related to photosynthesis and in seven collaborative reflections. As a result, the students' group norms related to participation were developed, and the students' epistemic understanding of argumentation was enhanced. Furthermore, the students' group argumentation competencies, identified as argumentation product and argumentation process, were advanced. As the collaborative reflection and argumentation lessons progressed, statements related to rebuttal increased and different students suggested a range of evidence with which to justify their claims or to rebut others' arguments. These findings will give a better idea of how to present an apt application of argumentation to science teachers and science education researchers.

Lately, countries around the world have been focusing their efforts on shifting from conventional industries to innovative-technology-based industries, and committing their competencies to growing startups as an important next-generation industry that will lead national competitiveness. However, there are inadequacies in studies and methods that analyze research and development (R&D) investment and startup performance from a technology perspective, which is an innate nature of startups. This study analyzed the correlation between a startup's R&D investment and its performance. More specifically, this study performed a correlation analysis and a panel analysis on startups that reached KRW 100 billion in revenue; these analyses were not applied in previous studies. The following are the findings: first, the R&D investment percentage of startups located in other regions was relatively higher than that of those in the Seoul metropolitan area, and second, when a startup's operating margin and net profit margin were high, its R&D investment percentage tended to go higher. In conclusion, this study identified that R&D performance resulting from R&D investment was a core competency factor in the success of a startup.
