간호관리역량 분류 및 간호관리역량별 행동지표 개발 (A Study on the Classification of Nursing Management Competencies and Development of related Behavioral Indicators in Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to classify nursing management competencies and develop behavioral indicators for nurse managers in hospitals. Also, levels of importance and performance based on developed criteria were to be identified and compared. Methods: Using expert survey we classified nursing management competencies and behavioral indicators with data from 34 nurse managers and professors. Subsequently, data from a survey of 216 nurse managers in 7 cities was used to analyze the importance-performance comparison of the classified nursing management competencies and behavioral indicators. Results: Forty-two nursing management competencies were identified together with 181 behavioral indicators. The mean score for importance of nursing management competency was higher than the mean score for performance. According to the importance-performance analysis, 5 of the 42 nursing management competencies require further development: vision-building, analysis, change management, human resource development, and self-management competency. Conclusion: The classification of nursing management competencies and behavioral indicators for nurse managers in hospitals provides basic data for the development and evaluation of programs designed to increase the competency of nurse managers in hospitals.

간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념과 간호사에 대한 이미지 (A Study on the Image of Nurses and the Professional Self-Concept Perceived by Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the image of nurses and the professional self-concept perceived by nursing students. Method: The subjects included were 93 students. The research tool was the Professional Self-Concept of Nurses Instrument(PSCNI) by Arthur and Image of Nurses by Yang. Result: 1. The professional self-concept consisted of 4 factors : flexibility, satisfaction, competence, empathy. 2. The image of nurse consisted of 4 factors : official image, maternal image, professional image. unfavorable image. 3. The average item score of PSCNI was $2.94{\pm}30$. 4. The average item score of nurse' image was $3.63{\pm}46$ 5. The Professional self-concept of nurses(p=.0001) and image of nurses(p=.001) was found to significantly according to satisfaction for major. 6. The correlation between professional self-concept and image of nurses revealed correlation of r=.315(p=.004). Conclusion: There was a association between professional self concept of nurses, image of nurses and satisfaction for major. Therefore it is required to develop education program and strategy that helps establish satisfaction for major so that nursing students can experience firm professional self concept and positive image of nursing.

간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력의 관계에 미치는 극복력의 매개효과 (The Mediating Effect of the Resilience on the Relationship between Stress in Clinical Practice and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력에 대한 극복력의 매개효과를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상은 C 지역의 3개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중인 4학년 137명이다. 연구기간은 2016년 10월 15일부터 11월 15일까지이고, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, Multiple regression으로 분석하였다. 대상자들의 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력은 총 5점 중 각각 평균 $3.09{\pm}0.43$점, $3.54{\pm}0.45$점이었고, 극복력은 총 7점 중 평균 $4.93{\pm}0.66$점이었다. 임상실습스트레스와 극복력 간(r=-.24, p=.005), 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력 간(r=-.21, p=.012)에 음의 상관관계를 보였고, 극복력과 임상수행능력 간(r=.59, p<.001)에 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 임상실습스트레스와 임상수행능력과의 관계에서 극복력의 매개효과를 검정한 결과, 극복력은 두 변수 간 관계를 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났고, Sobel test을 통해 확인한 결과 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의하였다(Z=-3.02, p=.003). 즉, 임상실습스트레스는 임상수행능력에 미치는 부정적 효과는 극복력이 투입된 후 더 이상 유의한 영향이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 임상실습교육은 간호학과 교과 과정에서 매우 중요한 요소이며 반드시 수료해야 하는 교과과정이다. 따라서 불가피하게 직면하는 스트레스 상황에서 간호대학생이 갖추어야 할 임상수행능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 다양한 교과 내 외 과정에 극복력 강화 프로그램을 개발하고 그 효과를 검증할 것을 제언한다.

초급 건설사업관리기술자(CMr)의 요구역량 추출 및 ANP 중요도 분석 (An Extraction and ANP Importance Analysis for Competence Factors of Junior Grade CM Engineer)

  • 건설관리 (CM)는 효율적인 프로젝트 관리 시스템으로서 활용되고 있다. 건설관리 시스템은 과학적 관리 기법을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 전문 지식을 가진 전문가의 서비스를 제공한다. 따라서 CM 서비스 수요는 건설 프로젝트에서 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 건설사업관리기술자의 등급은 건설 기술자 역량지수 (ICEC)에 의해 구분된다. 건설사업관리기술자는 다른 분야보다 높은 점수를 필요로 한다. 하지만 초급 건설사업관리기술자는 교육과 자격에 따라 등급을 획득할 수 있다. 본 연구는 현행 건설사업관리기술자 등급 시스템의 문제점을 분석한 후 초급 건설사업관리기술자를 대상으로 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 그 결과 본 연구에서는 23가지의 요구역량 요인들을 추출하였다. 그리고 요구역량은 친화도법을 사용하여 5가지 영역으로 그룹화 하였다. 다음으로, ANP 기법을 이용하여 중요도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 우선 순위가 높은 영역이 프로젝트 관리와 관련된 품질 및 비용 영역으로 분석되었다.

간호 대학생 부모의 헬리콥터 양육과 간호대학생의 비판적 사고 성향, 학습역량의 융합연구 (Convergence Study between Helicopter Parenting, Critical Thinking Disposition, and Learning Competence of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호 대학생 부모의 헬리콥터 양육과 간호 대학생의 비판적 사고성향, 학습역량의 상관관계를 파악하기 위해 시행되었다. 본 연구는 2017년 4월 3일부터 4월 14일까지 C와 I시에 위치한 2개의 간호 대학생 208명을 대상으로 자가기입식 설문지를 시행한 서술적 조사연구이다. 간호 대학생 부모의 헬리콥터 양육 정도는 평균 $73.94{\pm}13.88$점이었고, 비판적 사고 성향 점수는 $113.30{\pm}12.33$점 이었다. 간호대학생의 학습역량을 학습동기, 인지능력, 학습행동영역으로 구분하였고, 학업성적에 따라 인지능력(F=3.62, p=.014), 학습행동(F=4.07, p=.008)에 유의한 차이가 있었다. 간호 대학생 부모의 헬리콥터 양육 정도와 비판적 사고 성향이 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였고(r=-.14, p=.043), 비판적 사고 성향과 인지 능력(r=.43, p<.001), 비판적 사고 성향과 학습행동 영역(r=.4, p<.001)이 유의한 상관관계를 보였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로, 간호 대학생 부모를 대상으로 학생의 비판적 사고를 높일 수 있는 부모양육 교육프로그램 개발 과 추후 간호역량 강화프로그램 개발을 위한 융 복합적 기초자료로 활용함을 기대한다.

임상간호 실습교육의 교수효율성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Teaching Effectiveness on Clinical Nursing Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to the development of clinical instruction by students' ratings of teaching effectiveness in clinical nursing education. The subjects were comprised of graduating class 618 students from 24 nursing colleges in the nation. The instruments used in this study were "general characteristics & status of clinical nursing education" developed by the researcher and "Instrument to Measure Effectiveness of Clinical Instructors" by Reeve(1994). The 50 questions used in the questionaire were categorized into 13 components subject to factor analysis. The 13 components were interpersonal relationships, communication skills, role model, resource for students, favorable to students, encouraging to think for selves, teaching methods, evaluation, finding assignments for objectives, organization of subject matter, professional competence, knowledge of subject matter & working with agency personnel. The results of this study are as follows 1. Status of clinical nursing educaion : 1) Clinical nursing education were led by nursing professors(44.9%), a team of both nuring professor & head nurse(6.8%), instructors from specific hospital(15.1%), instuctos for a specific subject(14.6%), & head nurse(6.8%). For 3-year program students, 34.6% of the clinical nursing education were led by instructors from specific hospital & 51.4% of the education by nursing professors for Bachelor's program. 2) The contents for clinical education comprised of Conference being the most frequent of 34.5% ; a combination of Nursing skills, Orientation, Conference etc.22.0% : Nursing process 21.7% : Orientation 13.5% : Inspection(making rounds ) 6.4%, & Nursing skills of 2% being the least frequent. 3) Students' preference of clinical teachers from the highest to the lowest were instructors for a specific subject being the most desired (44.9%) followed by nursing professor, head nurse, a team of both nursing professor & head nurse, & instructors from specific hospital being the least desired. 4) Students felt that the qualification for clinical teachers should be at least a master's degree holder and 5 or more years of clinical experience. The reason they felt was because knowledge & experience are imperative for professional education. 2. Clinical teaching effectiveness : The total points for teaching effectiveness was 147.97(mean of 2.95±0.98) where the total score is considered to be an average rating. 3. Teaching effectiveness as status of clinical nursing education : 1) The score ratings for the clinical instructors from the highest to the lowest were as follows : instructors for a specific subject, instructors from specific hospitals, a team of both nursing professors & head nurses, nursing professors, head nurses, which resulted in significunt difference(F=4.53, P<0.001). 2) The rating scores based on the teaching program from the highest to the lowest were as follws ; nursing skills, nursing process, a combination of nursing skills, orientation, conference etc. , conferences, orientation, inspection, which resulted in significunt difference(F=10.97, P<0.001). 4. Based on 13 categorized components from the questionaires, questions related to communication skills scored the highest points of 3.20 where inquiries regarding resource for students scored the lowest points of 2.38. 5. Among the 13 categorial components from the questionaire, Interpersonal relationship, Communication skills, Resource for students, Encouraging to think for selves, Evaluation, Teaching method, Finding assignment for objectives, Organization of subject matter, Professional competence, & Working with agency personnel, instructors for a specific subject scored the highest points and head nurse scored the lowest, which resulted in significant difference. Favorable for students, instructors for a specific subject scored highest points and nursing professor scored the lowest, which resulted in significant deference (F=5.39, P<0.001). Role model & Professional competence, instructors for a specific subject scored the highest points and head nurse scored the lowest, with minimum variation(F=1.29, P>0.05 : F=1.64, P>0.05) 6. Based on 13 categorial components as a whole, the highest points scored among the 5 groups of clinical teachers was instructors for a specific subject and the lowest, by head nurse(F=1.94, P<0. 001). A team of both nursing professor & head nurse attained higher score in clinical education than their independent education.

임부의 실존적 영적안녕과 자아힘돋우기 (self-empowerment) (Existential Spiritual Well-Being and Self-Empowerment in Pregnant Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between self-empowerment and a existential spiritual well-being in pregnant women, and to provide the basic data for nursing intervention. The subjects were 182 women who visited 2 OBGY hospitals in Taegu, Korea and ranged in age from 21 to 40. The data was collected during the period from May 6th toMay 24th, 2002. The instruments were the revised existential spiritual well-being scale developed by Paloutzian and Ellison(1982). Originally the instruments were developed by Spreitzer(1995) and Jung Hea Joo(1998), who translated it into Korean. The data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Mean score of total empowerment was 3.72 and the subcategory 'meaning', had the highest score at 4.15. 2. Mean score of existential spiritual well- being was 4.16. 3. Existential spiritual well-being was positively related to self-empowerment (r=.400, P=000). 4. A significant statistical difference between education, religion and self-empowerment was found. 5. A significant statistical difference between hope of pregnancy and a existential spiritual well-being was found. 6. The most important variable affecting the existential spiritual well-being was meaning which accounted for 15% of the total variance in stepwise multiple regression analysed. Three variables, competence and hope of pregnancy accounted for 22% in existential spiritual well-being. From the results of the study, the following recommendations are presented : 1) Indeed, we should identify existential spiritual well-being for real meaning of spiritual well-being in future. 2) It is required to check the effect of existential spiritual well-being and self-empowerment through the repeated studies. 3) We need to take a serious view of the meaning affecting existential spiritual well-being in pregnant women.

기업의 특허 역량이 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증 분석 : 우수 벤처기업을 중심으로 (An Empirical Analysis about the Effect on Performance of Firm's Patent Competency : Focusing on the High Performance Venture Firms in Korea)

  • In this study, the effect of firm's patent competency on the their management performance was analysed. The number of patents granted to Korean firms, patent grade score as of the firm's patent competence were considered in the perspectives of patent volume and patent value respectively. Specially the analysis were implemented focusing on the high performance venture ranked 200th in Korea. The patent source data were from the Korean Intellectual Property Office, Korean Credit Evaluation Information Company, and the Patent Evaluation System of KIPO and KIPA. And the year sales and net profit volume as of the firm's management performance data from the KIS. Management performance data are consisted of the mean sales, net profit and ROI during the 4 years from FY2005 to FY2008. Major results are as follows. The regression model were proved significantly that the year sales volume and net profit are effected by the number of patents and patent grade score. But the model including the ROI were shown not significantly. So it can be concluded that patent volume and patent value are the important factors on firm's financial performance as of the year sales volume and net profit. Also the regression model including the control variables, firm's number of employee and business year, the number of patents and patent grade score are the significant factors on firms performance. And regression coefficients of patent value model were higher than these of patent volume model. So it can be recognized that patent value of firms' patent competency are more important factor than the patent volume.

응급실 간호사의 중증도 분류 역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of a Triage Competency Scale for Emergency Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to develop a triage competency scale (TCS) for emergency nurses, and to evaluate its validity and reliability. Methods: Preliminary items were derived based on the attributes and indicators elicited from a concept analysis study on triage competency. Ten experts assessed whether the preliminary items belonged to the construct factor and determined the appropriateness of each item. A revised questionnaire was administered to 250 nurses in 18 emergency departments to evaluate the reliability and validity of the scale. Data analysis comprised item analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, contrasted group validity, and criterion-related validity, including criterion-related validity of the problem solving method using video scenarios. Results: The item analysis and confirmatory factor analysis yielded 5 factors with 30 items; the fit index of the derived model was good (${\chi}^2/df=2.46$, Root Mean squared Residual=.04, Root Mean Squared Error of Approximation=.08). Additionally, contrasted group validity was assessed. Participants were classified as novice, advanced beginner, competent, and proficient, and significant differences were observed in the mean score for each group (F=6.02, p=.001). With reference to criterion-related validity, there was a positive correlation between scores on the TCS and the Clinical Decision Making in Nursing Scale (r=.48, p<.001). Further, the total score on the problem solving method using video scenarios was positively correlated with the TCS score (r=.13, p=.04). The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ of the final model was .91. Conclusion: Our TCS is useful for the objective assessment of triage competency among emergency nurses and the evaluation of triage education programs.

기본간호학 실습 교육에서 웹 기반 학습의 효과 - 무균술 실습교육을 중심으로 - (Effectiveness of Web-Based Learning in Basic Nursing Practice Education - focusing on Asepsis technique practice -)

  • Purpose: This study was done to compare the effectiveness of web learning versus traditional education for learning Asepsis technique in Basic Nursing Practice. Method: This research was a quasi-experimental study. The participants were 60 students who were taking Basic Nursing at a nursing college in G city. Thirty students each were assigned to the experimental and the control group. Data were collected between September 26 and 30, 2005, The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Independent t-test and ANCOVA Results: The mean score for competence in Asepsis technique practice in the experimental group was 24.73 and in the control group 22.80. This result was statistically significant(t = 3.723, P = .001). The mean score for knowledge in the experimental group was 42.93 and in the control group 38.93. This result was statistically significant(t = 2.119, P = .038). The mean score for satisfaction with degree of study in the experimental group was 55.50 for the pre-test and 56.17 for the post-test, and in the control group 60.23 and 58.00 respectively. This result was statistically significant(F = 10.537, P = .002). Conclusion: The Web based learning was found to be effective in nursing practice, student satisfaction and knowledge, but web-based programs have to be continuously managed and various demands from learners have to be accepted. Eventually we have to use web-based program as educational medium to promote effective learning nursing education.
