In this study, inter-comparison for PM-2.5 was undertaken. The PM-2.5 mass concentrations using the gravimetric and beta-attenuation methods were compared during the winter in 2007. Two different types of conventional filter-based measurements (Cyclone type and Impactor type) were also collocated and the measurement data was compared with each other. As a result, continuous PM-2.5 data using beta attenuation method show a comparable mass concentration with gravimetric measurement when the inlet of beta-gauge sampler is heated. The results also showed that the cyclone type shows a little high PM-2.5 concentration than Impactor type. In all the sampling cases, the correlations between measurement methods are high. Subsequently, this study suggests that highly correlated relationship between PM-2.5 measurement instruments can be obtained through the inter-comparison results based on filterb-ased gravimetric method and more intensive measurement and theoretical studies are needed in order to clarify the measurement errors for different sampler types.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of electroacupuncture at Joksanmi($ST_{36}$) on Rat's aging by experimental methods. Methods : The author performed several experimental procedures to observe the effects of the EC-HAS at the arthritis. First, I measured the cell survival rate of the mice lung fibroblasts. Second, the incidence rate of arthritis and arthritis index of CIA were analyzed. Third, the levels of IL-6, $INF-{\gamma}$ , $INF-{\alpha}$ , $IL-1{\beta}$, IgG, IgM and anti-collagen II were measured in serum and the level of $INF-{\gamma}$, $INF-{\gamma}$/IL-4 ratio in the CIA mouse spleen cell culture. Fourth, histological analysis of the mice joint was performed. Fifth, the expression ratio of $CD3e^+$ cells to $CD19^+$ cells, $CD4^+$ cells to $CD8^+$ cells, $CD11a^+CD19^+$ cells, $CD4^+CD25^+$ cells, $CD3^+CD69^+$ cells, and $CD11b^+Gr-1^+$ cells were checked. Results: 1. The hematocrit was meaningfully (p<0.01, p<0.05) decreased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the control and sham group. 2. The glucose, ALP were meaningfully (p<0.05, p<0.05) decreased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the control group. 3. In the activation of hepatic antioxidase, the catalase was meaningfully (p<0.01) increased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the control group. 4. In the liver, the NO formation was meaningfully (p<0.001) decreased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the nomal, control and sham group. 5. In the activation of splenetic antioxidase, the GSH was meaningfully (p<0.01) increased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the sham group, and the catalase was meaningfully (p<0.001) increased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the control group. 6. In the spleen, the MDA formation was meaningfully (p<0.01, p<0.05) decreased in $ST_{36}$ group in comparison with the control and sham group. 7. In the spleen cell culture, the levels of IL-6 was meaningfully (p<0.05) decreased in comparison with the sham group, $INF-{\gamma}$( was meaningfully (p<0.05) increased in comparison with the control group. Conclusions: According to the results, it is considered that electroacupuncture at Joksamni($ST_{36}$) is effective in increasing the activities of antioxidative enzyme and inhibiting lipid peroxides, and has an immunomodulatory reaction. In conclusion, it han an significant anti-aging effect and need more experimental study.

The propose of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of the partial body weight support during treadmill training on the ambulation in elderly with chronic stroke. Fourteen hemiplegic volunteers participated and were divided into an experimental and control groups. In the experimental group, the body weight support during treadmill training was performed 3 times per week for 6 weeks. In the control group, usual treadmill training was applied. Before and after experiments, temporal-spatial gait parameters were measured. The date of 14 patients who carried out the whole experimental course were statistically analyzed. The results of the study were : 1. In the comparison of gait velocity before and after experiment, the gait velocity was significantly increased in the experimental group and the control group(p<.05). In the comparison of difference of the gait velocity between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05). 2. In comparison of gait cadence before and after experiment, the gait cadence was significantly increased in both groups(p<.05). In the comparison of difference of the gait cadence between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05). 3. In the comparison of step length before and after experiment, the step length was significantly increased in the experimental group and the control group(p<.05). In the comparison of difference of the step length between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05). 4. In the comparison of vastus medialis root mean square(RMS) before and after experiment, the vastus medialis RMS was significantly increased in the experimental group(p<.05). In the comparison of vastus medialis root mean square(RMS) before and after experiment, the vastus medialis RMS was not significantly increased in the experimental group(p>.05). In the comparison of difference of the vastus medialis RMS between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05). 5. In the comparison of latency of somatosensory evoke potential(SSEP) before and after experiment, the latency of SSEP was significantly increased in the experimental group(p<.05). In the comparison of latency of somatosensory evoke potential(SSEP) before and after experiment, the latency of SSEP was significantly decreased in the control group(p>.05). In the comparison of difference of the latency of SSEP between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05). 6. In the comparison of functional ambulation profile(FAP) before and after experiment, the FAP was not significant difference in the experimental group and the control group(p>.05). In the comparison of difference of the FAP between groups, there was not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(p>.05).

The author has observed the ectopic eruption pattern on oblique cephalogram of 195 children. (5years: 78, 6 years: 58, 7 years: 59). The results were as follows; 1) Making a comparison between hold type and jump type of ectopic eruption, there are 4 cases in Hold type, 5 cases in jump type. 2) Making a comparison of ectopic eruptin between male and female, there are 7 cases in male, 2 cases in female. 3) Making a comparison of ectopic eruption between right side and left side, there are 5 cases at right side, 4 cases at left side. 4) Making a comparison of ectopic eruption among 5 years to 7 years, there are 4 cases in 5 years, 3 cases in 6 years, 2 cases in 7 years. 5) The prevalence of ectopic eruption of the maxillary first molar was 4.61%. 6) Normal eruption angle of the maxillary first molar is prevailing in $80^{\circ}{\sim}85^{\circ}$.

In this study, practical use of TM (Thematic Mapper) data was evaluated by comparison of LANDSAT- 5 TM and MSS (Multispectral Scanner) data. The comparison of TM and MSS data was achieved by analyzing the result of landuse mapping of Incheon area, and in addition, the comparison of accuracy according to image enhancement method was made. From the results of this study, we found that TM data was more accurate by about 20% than MSS data in landuse mapping, and that smoothing was effective in image enhancement processing of TM data.

The purpose of this paper is to draw comparison between the performance of ${\alpha}-{\beta}-{\gamma}$ filter and Kalman filter of a tracking module for ARPA system on board high dynamic warship. The comparison is based on the filters' capability to reduce residual error and maintain a stable transient response. The residual error is computed from the difference between the observed the predicted positions for the entire tracking period. The results indicate that the Kalman filter has a higher tracking accuracy compared to the optimal ${\alpha}-{\beta}-{\gamma}$ filter. However, both filters have a similar transient response.

The reults of the interlaboratory measurement comparison of the multimode and single mode fiber papameters are reported. 7 multi-mode fiber spools and 4 single mode spools are used and 5 independent domestic organizations (ETRI & 4 optical fiber manufacturing companies) are participated in the comparison study. Our results are compared with those of the comparison studies conducted in the foreign countries.

EFD-CFD Comparison Workshop was proposed based on the drag prediction workshop and high lift prediction workshop of AIAA. This workshop is organized to escalate the levels of wind tunnel test and computational fluid dynamics and to escalate the level of domestic aerodynamic technology through the collaboration of both areas. For three benchmark cases of which wind tunnel test results are available, comparison workshops have been held since 2015.

This paper deals with the comparison and analysis of brushless DC (BLDC) motor with radial and polar anisotropic plastic magnet. The open-circuit field distributions and back-emf for BLDC motor with polar plastic magnet are established analytically and the results are validated extensively by comparison with finite element (FE) analyses. On the basis of two dimensional (2-D) analytical solutions, this paper predicts open-circuit field characteristics according to design parameters and makes a comparison between BLDC motor with polar plastic magnet and it with radial plastic magnet in terms of required magnet volume and harmonic of air-gap flux density waveform.

We developed a time comparison system using the ranging signal of the geostationary meteorological satellite(GMS). By using the system time comparison between the KRISS(Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science) cesium atomic clock and the GMS ranging signal has been carried out and the results have shown that the precision of time comparison at KRISS is about 10 ns. For the more accurate measurements we calibrated the receiver delay time between KRISS receiver and CRL(Communications Research Laboratory) receiver by using the portable GMS receiver.
