A Study on Constructing the Inverse Element Generator over GF(3m)

  • This paper presents an algorithm generating inverse element over finite fields GF($3^m$), and constructing method of inverse element generator based on inverse element generating algorithm. An inverse computing method of an element over GF($3^m$) which corresponds to a polynomial over GF($3^m$) with order less than equal to m-1. Here, the computation is based on multiplication, square and cube method derived from the mathematics properties over finite fields.

A Visual Communication Design Study: Graphic Element Design Under Traditional Handwork

  • The addition of traditional elements can enhance the uniqueness of visual communication design. This paper briefly introduced visual communication and applications of traditional elements in visual communication design and applied paper cuts, a handmade graphic element, to the logo design of Dezhou University's 50th anniversary. The convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithm and the analytic hierarchy process method were applied to evaluation analysis and compared with the support vector machine (SVM) algorithm. The results of the CNN algorithm on the test set verified its effectiveness. The evaluation results of the CNN algorithm were similar to the manual evaluation results, further proving the effectiveness and high efficiency of the CNN algorithm. The hierarchical analysis and the analysis of the assessment results of the CNN algorithm found that the two logo designs made full use of paper cuts.

The performance analysis of the selective element encryption method (선택적 요소 암호화 방식에 대한 성능 분석)

  • There are a lot of encryption methods to secure database proposed recently. Those encryption methods can protect the sensitive data of users effectively, but it deteriorates the search performance of database query. In this paper, we proposed the selective element encryption method in order to complement those drawbacks. In addition, we compared the performance of the proposed method with that of tuple level encryption method using the various queries. As a result, we found that the proposed method, which use the selective element encryption with bloom filter as a index, has better performance than the other encryption method.

  • The Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation(SMRT) is studying the New Train Control System based on Wireless Communication(CBTC System : Communication Based Train Control System) to overcome the limitations of the existing system and to deal with the switch to the new system. The SMRT's New Train Control System Based on three main elements(train position detecting, radio communication and train control) is being developed in 3 stages. Currently, the development of the train position detecting element with the RFID system and the train position detecting device and the radio communication element with RTIS and DSRC had been developed and equipped on 3 stations(Songpa~Garak Market~Munjeong, 7.3km) of Subway Line 8 in the pilot. Such a basic infrastructure of the SMRT's New Train Control System is having an efficiency test by using the real-time Train Monitoring System and Currently, the third element, the train control(ATP/ATO/ATS/Interlocking) for the study is in progress. Also, the developed system is expected to validate the performance and safety in the next three stage. This paper shows about major developments of the SMRT's New Train Control System and our future plans.

Design of the Electromagnetic Coupling Wideband Microstrip Antenna using FDTD Method (FDTD 법을 이용한 광대역 전자기 결합 마이크로스트립 안테나의 설계)

  • In this paper, characteristics of the wide band microstrip antennas with parasistic element are analyzed by the Finite Difference Time Domain(FDTD) method, and antenna parameters are optimized to get maximum bandwidth, retern loss, input impedance, and radiation pattern are calculated by Founier transforming the time domain results. The characteristics of the antenna are varied and the bandwidth of the antenna is broaded as a length and a width of the driven element, a gap of the driven element and the parasitic element, a width and a length of parasitic element. So the different patchs are resonating at different frequencies and this multipule resonance increase the bandwidth. The Results of the calculation and measurement, the size of the antenna with parasitic element is about a twice larger than a microstrip antenna, but bandwidth is four times better than a microstrip antenna. And these results were in relatively good accordance with the measured values.

A Study on the Diagnosis of Secondary Battery by Phase Response (위상응답에 의한 이차전지의 진단에 관한 연구)

  • It was proposed the use of an inducive element to measure the SOH of a secondary battery by phase response. As a result of simulating the Randles equivalent model of a secondary battery, the inductive element used as the load has a high response characteristic and increases the maximum phase response frequency band. In order to obtain the frequency band in which the phase response characteristic of the secondary battery is well observed, the phase response was measured with the change of the inductance value of the inductive element, 33uH,49mohm inductive element with the maximum phase response at 631Hz was used. The phase response measurements for secondary battery with different SOH showed that the phase response for each 20% of SOH showed a difference of about 3.8(degree), enabling the SOH diagnosis of secondary battery by the phase measurement for the inductive element.

  • An electrostatic discharge (ESD) or a noise supplied from the outside has an effect on communication between the timing controller (TCON) and the memory element (EEPROM) through the interface between the timing controller and the memory element in liquid crystal displays (LCD). Therefore, we must apply ESD protection methods to LCD operating circuits for a normal operation. Our ESD protection circuit is to prevent from bi-directional communication errors between TCON and EEPROM due to an electrostatic discharge (ESD).

  • In this paper, using diversity the DS-CDMA system to modulation, performance of DS/CDMA system we have been analyzed. Channels is multipath resolution, and receiver is assemed maximal ratio combining(MRC) using to rake receiver. Simulations have been using element number of communication channels.   • Objectives: The aim of this study was to suggest preliminary data for the establishment of communication methodology of asbestos risk, fit for the features of each audiences, by grasping the features of risk communication by each element for each group survey. Methods: For this study, a questionnaire survey has been conducted from May to August 2012 and responses of 617 people including 214 school asbestos managers, 95 asbestos business managers, and 308 general public have been analyzed. Results: The feature by element of risk communication shows that to give information through non-governmental organizations with reliability such as colleges, research institutes, asbestos-related associations, etc among the entire investigated groups, is most effective. Lastly, for stakeholders related to asbestos, the public feedback for governmental asbestos management policy shows that it was considered that there is lack of reality due to comprehension deficit for situation, lack of a system of asbestos general management in the country and lack of policy connectivity among the branches of the government, and between the central government and the local government. However, the general public selected lack of various information disclosure, education, publicity for asbestos and lack of communication with citizens as the biggest problems.

  • The time of broadcasting-communication convergence is opened by advance of digital information processing technology and communication and broadcasting technologies and becomes the growing model of new industrial fields. In this paper, we analyze the element technology that is opening to the successful broadcasting-communication convergence period, and deal with the manpower incubation algorithm in the university that is aimed to the graduation of creative and ability professional engineer in that field by basis of this. The manpower incubation algorithm deal with the basic education curriculum which is support for the element technology and the educational direction and flowchart in the university for the next generation.
